central location in Durres, nice small hotel in side street. large room, great breakfast.

There’s a lovely terrace on fourth floor, looks onto the amphitheatre- shame we couldn’t have a drink while sitting there as no bar, nor alcohol in the so called mini bar( only water there).

Check in process was super quick. Huge room. The bed is very comfy and a king size. International and USB plug sockets. Free big bottle of water on arrival & everyday you stay. Coffee at breakfast was good & the waiter is lovely. Big desk with plush chair to put toiletries, make up etc & get ready. Make up light in the mirror in bathroom. Nice shower. Receptionist was really nice and helpful. Cleaning lady was attentive.

Tv wires hanging down from tv. It’s a SMART tv but I couldn’t get it working, which was a shame as it was huge! Broken toilet seat. Air con is loud. Only got shampoo toiletries. No gym, pool or other amenities. Kettle was broken and I asked to get it fixed but management forgot to. Breakfast while huge was not the freshest - the fruit was decaying every day. Some days they have a buffet and it seems like it would be left there from the day before. It was the same thing everyday.

Gorgeous little hotel tucked in the back street over looking the roman amphitheatre, university and mosque. Lovely comfortable rooms tasteful decorated, modern bathrooms, all modern cons. small balcony. On the fourth floor is a large balcony which we loved over looking the sites and a little of the sea. Nice spot to have a sundowner. Simple breakfast excellent location for exploring the town and region.

A little better communication from the bar and restaurant staff, very limited English.

Excellent decoration large rooms and a very comfortable bed make the perfect combination.Regarding the housekeeping staff of the hotel I have to admit that those are REALLY PROFESSIONALS i have stayed in many hotels and I see the difference immediate also the people in the restaurant (even though the breakfast was something average) are also good professionals with very good English speaking skills.

On arrival i was welcomed by the reception lady who asked me to pay immediate before even i left my luggage on the floor.I think this is very humiliated as the reservation was made through Booking (as always) so there is no way for the hotel to loose money.

I loved the fact that the hotel was so close to the center of Durres, as well as close to the beach

Not so many options around for eating, and also the hotel is a bit too tightly build arkund other places

Nice well keep, well run hotel. Very comfortable beds and beautiful linens. Staff are exceptional.

I liked everything

The first room key we got didn’t work, but they gave us a key for another room that was just as good.

One of the staff had a hard time processing my payment.

Very nice hotel. Big and new rooms. Good location near the beach, seaside and city center. Breakfast is very good.

The bathroom was getting wet after shower since the ramp is not on sewage direction.

Location is great, rooms are spacious and comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Clean enough.

There's little to dislike about Brais, however for an establishment that aims for a 5 star rating you need a 5 star experience and they're not there yet. It's an Albanian thing to expect maximum profit with minimum investment, and even though Brais has invested a lot in this hotel, they need to do better at maintaining it, specifically their bathrooms.
