We had 12 nights at the hotel and loved every minute. The most outstanding aspect of our visit has to be the staff - they were brilliant. Always with a smile and delivering excellent service. We had a Sunset Cottage. Very comfortable and certainly lived up to it's title. The minibar was refreshed daily with quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that we were asked to select before arrival. Lovely large balcony to enjoy the view. The food was a la carte with a weekly recurring menu plus specials. For us there was plenty of choice and the quality was excellent. My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay. Our room was 'decorated' by the hotel including a cake and bottle of house champagne all at no-cost. Over dinner more champagne provided and the cake served for dessert. Really nicely done. The option of two beaches was good. Always managed to find a recliner and umbrella although beach towels were often hard to find. The pool looked fine but we didn't use it. We had a late evening departure. The hotel provide two courtesy rooms and clean towels to enable a shower and change before leaving. Food and drink is still included right up to departure. Highly recommend this hotel.

good breakfast with lots of options. I loved the Jamaican Blu Mountain coffee with coffee creme. We loved the quite tropical vibe of this little resort with lots of privacy. The location was the best. This intimate vintage West Indies style resort was perfect for the ending of our 8 day cruise. It was so relaxing & quite The entire staff were super friendly & kind. I loved the simple layout of the resort, having the check-in / lobby area, restaurant all together overlooking the most incredible bay with an infinity view of the aqua sea! It was stunning!

We booked this "sunset cottage" on Booking.com & this ocean view cottage was supposedly over 2600 sq. ft. ! making the high rate seem worth; it was an average room, no more than 300. sq. ft. It did have a nice balcony & an out door shower which was so nice!

Genuine Caribbean hospitality in a beautiful location. Stunning beach with sunset views. Enjoyed eating at restaurant overlooking the sea with excellent service and good gluten free options. Enjoyed kayaking and cocktails on the beach! The grounds include lots of natural vegetation which is beautiful and attracts a wider variety of birds - we loved watching them during our stay. We loved the quiet swimming pool for refreshing swims in the shade of the palm trees. We were able to use the facilities until going to the airport after checkout which meant we could make the most of the day before going home.

Due to the rain, the access to the small beach was broken and not very safe. This beach area also needed some renovations. Evening entertainment could be improved.

We stayed for 8 nights in 3 different rooms and loved absolutely everything. People! The nicest and most helpful staff. Huge thanks to Kris and Maria for making our trip so memorable and relaxing. Location. The hotel is located on the west side of the island at the Caribbean Sea. This is a better option as the sea is not as rough as the ocean, especially when it is windy, and has fantastic clear water. The hotel is on a small rock/hill by the water and sunset views are absolutely amazing. Beaches. There are two really nice beaches near the hotel: Valley Church Bay and Jolly Beach. We preferred the one at the Valley Church Bay. There are sunbeds only for Cocos residents. Alternatively, you can stay at the hotel grill bar right next to the beach as it offers some nice shade during the afternoon. This side has a lot of sun in general, so if you like a bit more shade the part of the Jolly Beach on the other side has a cute little lagoon, also for hotel residents only, and is a more calm option. Food/Drinks. There is a main restaurant next to the reception. They offer a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner - our favourites were Caribbean flavours for meat and seafood. The bar next to it is the area to socialise in the evening after dinner with some nice live music (which is different every day). Cocktails are great - our favourite was the rum punch with angostura bitters and nutmeg. The bar on Valley Church side is open in the afternoon (until around 5:30pm) and offers great grill food like burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs - our favourite was quesadilla with shrimps. There is a draft lager beer (great in the sun) and of course cocktails, they do a cocktail of the day, which is fun. There is a tiny bar next to the Jolly beach as well - it is a good option to pick up a drink after a boat ride or a diving session as this is where boats usually pick you up from and where they usually drop you off.

Nothing serious to mention really. The breakfast service at 7am in the morning may be a bit slow, not an issue, just to keep in mind if you are in a hurry.

The hotel is set on beautiful grounds and the two beaches are stunning, we woke up to amazing views everyday. I really liked that all the food was a la carte and no buffets there was lots of choice for a weeks stay. There were a few bars across the property as well as a mini bar that’s restocked daily if you need. Airport is around 30 mins away so very easy to get to. We stayed in one of the steepest rooms but we didn’t mind at all. Overall had a wonderful relaxing stay and the staff were lovely.

Could have had a few more water stations we were quite far away from them which was hard especially at night!!

We loved every single thing about our stay at Cocos! Our bay view room with a plunge pool was absolutely breathtaking. We loved having the choice of two stunning beaches, both offering tranquility and amazing clear water with spectacular views. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Mario provided us with fantastic drinks and dance skills! The food was great and as a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated the abundance of vegetarian options. Nightly entertainment was terrific and allowed for wonderful casual and low key socialization with so many other great guests. We will absolutely return to Cocos again in the future. This was the very best way to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Our experience at COCOS was incredible. The staff were so friendly, and couldn't do any more for us. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and hello, what ever time of the day! The food was a la carte (no bufet) so it was so fresh, and the meals were different every day. The location is amazing, sandwiched between two beautiful beaches and lots of watersports to try. We ended our stay with a surprise private dinner on the beach where my partner proposed to me, and the hotel helped him arrange all of this. They videoed the experience for us also. If I could give 7 stars I would. Thank you, we will come again, from Mike & Sarah

Location; intimate stylish boutique and relaxed , staff all very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful; service in restaurants and food quality was superb!

No gym; reception was a little tired and some areas could do with a fresh kick of paint. Outdoor shower only but got used to that and was lovely - Queuing to be seated for food in the restaurant could be faster to being seated. Could do with some hooks under the shelf to hang some clothing; hats as storage space is limited for all clothes

Amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble. Very good food, plenty of choice, all freshly prepared and served to table. Good drinks choice. Clean and tidy beaches, good beach bar and bbq, watersports available . We liked the ‘rustic’ and simple no-fuss nature of the hotel, which might not be to everyone’s taste. I’d recommend spending time studying the hotel website and photo gallery before deciding.

Noisy fridge in room, had to unplug it at night. Mosquito bites - lots of them! Suspect the fresh water system for showers and wash basins is gravity fed and the water pressure at times was almost non-existent which is a problem when your wife is in the shower with hair full of shampoo! Evening entertainment wasn’t consistently done, some stand-out acts but some were very bland. On one or two evenings everyone abandoned the bar area by around 9pm and went to bed!
