Lovely historical building in a brilliant area for exploring. We got a complimentary upgrade which was really lovely. Continental breakfast was included and that was simple but very nice and served quickly. The staff were all so lovely genuine and helpful- particularly on the front desk. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.very effective AC

Our room was really big but the only thing it was lacking was somewhere comfy to sit down for two people. There was one comfy chair but the others were dining chairs.

Our family of three (two adults and a five year-old child) had a wonderful stay at the Copper and Lumber Store. The location was breathtaking, the property was beautiful, and the staff were phenomenal. Every single hotel employee engaged our little boy in friendly conversation, remembered his name, and asked him about his experience on the island throughout our stay. It made him feel so welcome and special, and really impressed upon us their kindness and truly exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to return and enthusiastically recommend this hotel!

The hotel is lovely. My room was big...it had a seating area to watch t.v. and also a concealed area to make tea..coffee and also had a microwave. The bed and pillows were really comfortable . Cleanliness was of a high standard in both my bedroom and bathroom. I only ate breakfast each morning at the hotel but it was very tasty. The servers were polite and friendly.... I want to say a special thank you to server Shanika...it was a pleasure to have her serve my breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My bathroom was a little narrow and had a step down at the door which I kept forgetting the first few times I used the bathroom.

Getting to stay in a hotel in a UNESCO World Heritage site was an amazing experience! The hotel was built in the 1700s as a copper and lumber storage and working area. The building has been beautifully renovated. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food at the special Friday night dinner buffet was delicious. We could not recommend the Copper and Lumber hotel more highly!

Our room had two stories; the heat pump was on the top floor. Cool air did not get down to the lower room. We were able to borrow a floor fan for that room which helped a lot. Other than that, it was a terrific stay!

For anyone wanting to stay in one of the most historic parts of the Caribbean and Antigua, this is perfect. Wonderful Georgian building in the centre of Nelson's harbour. Welcoming and helpful staff - very quickly got the ceiling fans and television working - and always friendly with a smile. The area is busy with tourists during the day, but quiet at night...........unless the Atlantic rowers arrive at 2am, but fun to see that event. Comfortable beds and very spacious rooms. Safe walking to a number of excellent restaurants and bars nearby - but NOT so close that there is any late-night noise!

The kitchenette is not equipped for more than a coffee/tea - large fridge/freezer, but no cooking equipment pots or pans, so really only a salad can be prepared. Breakfasts were good, but each day our order was incorrect, albeit very generous helpings of fruit, yogurt and a cooked breakfast included.

This will be one of the most historic and unique rooms you will stay in - the restoration of the building and the bedrooms is superb! Don't be deterred by the 3 star rating, in terms of comfort and cleanliness, it is up there with 5 star hotels. We used it as a base to explore South East Antigua, and could not have been happier. The food also exceeded our expectations - the Lobster linguine I had for lunch was probably the best meal we had in Antigua, surpassing Sheer Rocks etc.

A nice touch would be to provide a bottle of water in the room each day.

The connection with British naval history and the feeling that we were walking in Nelson's footsteps at English Harbour. It was our fourth visit to Antigua in recent years, and we have stayed at the Copper and Lumber Store for some time on each occasion. Lovely view over the waterfront and yachts in English Harbour. Very good bed. We shall return.

One must recognise it as a historic building, so expect polished wooden floors rather and classic furniture than modern furniture and deep-pile carpets. For us however, this adds to the ambience.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful location. Staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are gorgeous (and a decent shower hooray!). The hotel is beautiful in the evening and it's right in the dockyard so great for exploring. We couldn't have been happier

Nothing to not like, it was an amazing stay. The views from the hotel weren't anything special so if you want beach view it may not be for you.

Fantastic location in a quirky and once in a lifetime hotel. Well maintained, clean and authentic. Lovely staff. You definitely get a copper and lumber experience!

Breakfast was a little confusing - we didn't realise the egg options were included as the menu suggested this was extra USD$. Would also recommend a little more lighting in the rooms!

The location of the hotel is great. Very nice staff.

The bed mattresses as well as pillows could have been a better quality. The hotel is very nice but the sound proofing in very bad.
