Comfortable bed, quiet and had a lovely little balcony. Good location for train and wharf for Riverboat Postal boat and other ferries. Hotel across the road for meals.

Unfortunately Footpath very high, and steep steps leading up to property, so people with mobility problems would probably have to rule it out. No screens on sliding doors, so had to keep closed to keep out mosquitos in the evening. Also coloured lights along the back deck need to be turned off at night, as it meant you had to close curtains.

The room was quite large and roomy. Balcony was good for afternoon drinks with the company of a cockatoo who liked biscuits! Room was well equipped with tea/coffee supplies, biscuits (Arnotts) and bathroom supplies. King size bed, large tv with video player. Back of motel so was very quiet.

Unfortunately all the steps from street to motel and then up to room were a bit of a challenge for me. No off street parking so left the car on the street outside motel.

We had a huge room which incorporated the king size bed, a sitting area, and a small dining nook. The room was bright and welcoming with a number of little touches. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom, which was wonderful. Good communication with the motel hosts. We enjoyed our stay again (this was the second visit) and look forward to another occasion.

There are 2 basins in the bathroom, which I'm sure would suit some couples. For us, they took up a lot of room so were weren't able to spread out our toiletries. Not a big deal for an overnight stay, though.

Close proximity to train station, as we were public transport travellers. Staff friendly and helpful. Opposite the local hotel which was handy for meals. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Nice to receive biscuits to have with a cuppa. Great to get the room serviced each day.

Shower was leaking and the wardrobe was used to house the fridge, so no place to hang clothes.

Fabulous location, close to marina and dining. Large, spacious room with comfortable bed and lovely spa bath. Plunger coffee was a very nice touch!

Street parking - normally not a problem but due to recovering from an injury it was a little more inconvenient than expected. Must admit, did not even consider this when booking. Persons with mobility issues should be aware that kerbside stairs may be challenging.

We arrived in the dark in the rain and were helped to find a street park, given umbrellas and shown to our room. Very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was well appointed, the ground coffee was lovely, had everything needed for a great stay. Was a very handy stop on our way into Sydney. Would definitely stay there when we are back in the area to explore

Great location opposite the hotel & close to the railway station. Our room was exceptionally clean & we appreciated the extra little touches - plenty of tea & coffee sachets, good size fresh milk container in fridge, proper coffee & plunger. We were very pleasantly surprised for our overnight stopover in Brooklyn.

Everything was as expected or better.

Bed was large and had super comfortable firm mattresses. The room had a choice of pillows (different materials/levels of firmness/fillings). Room with character - renovated old style motel with rustic flair - cosy and comfortable. The owner has integrated a small kitchen corner in the wardrobe - fridge, microwave, coffee and tea selection, kettle, etc. Bathroom was clean with a spa bathtub and creatively folded towels. TV had a decent range of programmes and there were a range of DVDs to choose from as well. WiFi was strong enough to stream Netflix. The room also had a table for two to make yourself comfortable.

There wasn't anything I didn't like! It was good value for the price - anyone who books in this price range will be happy with the quality Brooklyn Motel offers for the money.

The room was very clean with everything you could want. Included was both instant and plunger coffee, biscuits, toaster, kettle and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows and blankets available. The motel is located across from a Pub which sells great food and just up from a train station and the ferry to Dangar Island. Tom, the manager was friendly and made me feel welcome. I would definitely stay again.

Car parking is a bit hit and miss. I arrived at a reasonable time and found a spot just up the road. The TV signal dropped out a few times but wasn't really an issue.

lovely welcoming first person. Showed to my room and told if I required anything to just let them know. A receipt of cash payment I had made was delivered to my room within minutes.Room was very clean and spacious ,balcony doors open awaiting my arrival.

my only issue was a drop level of floor between bathroom and room with no edges marked to make you aware of the situation and I tripped initially on it.
