This is a hidden gem! I’ve stayed in many motels while traveling through country areas, and most are either outdated with old 70s bathrooms or have had basic, cheap renovations with no sense of design. This motel is a breath of fresh air—it’s been beautifully renovated with high-quality materials and a real focus on style and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, better than anything I’ve experienced in a country motel—more like a big-city 5-star hotel. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the room was modern and thoughtfully designed. For the quality provided, the price is more than reasonable. If you’re tired of the usual country motels, this one will completely change your expectations. Highly recommended!

The only thing missing was breakfast, but the friendly manager mentioned they’re starting it next month. I’m really looking forward to my next visit to see what they’ll offer.

Very comfortable with large luxurious towels & good shower, comfortable bed & choice of pillows, couch and long bench added to comfort of room, good swimming pool, very pleasant and helpful management & staff. Microwave, toaster, plates, decent sized fridge were great and helped us to be self catering when local facilities were closed over the Easter holiday weekend.

Older style property, some finishes could do with updating. Shame the restaurant wasn’t open. Adjacent highway was a bit noisy with heavy truck traffic.

Peaceful surroundings,good size pool, complementary drinks (coke and water) were a surprise on our arrival.

Mattress was quite hard in my opinion , but after travelling for 8 hrs prior, managed to sleep ok in the end . Motel itself was pretty new and modern however room itself had a pretty strong smell perhaps from being closed up , after opening door and window for a few hrs , I was hoping ventilation would of helped , but felt the smell was the same .

The room was spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable and used a blanket instead of an overweight doona - something that we regarded as a positive. The pool is large for a motel (around 15 metres in length and was salt water - no chlorine smell! The fridge was a genuine bar fridge, not a "pygmy" fridge. The motel property is set on 2.5 acres, so plenty of space - no car parking overcrowding. Kitchenette was well provisioned.

The motel decor is looking a little tired but for us (a couple) this deficiency is well offset by the positive aspects.

Staff were very good and accomodating

Was booked into what we thought from booking.com the last room available. It was a pet friendly room, we don't have pets but we needed a room. It had a pet aroma but it was the last room. The front door lock decided to freeze and we could not get out except with some force. Tried to help staff with a repair but it would not work. Management then found us a double room on the other side of the motel. An extremely comfortable room with no odour. If we had known this room was available we would not have booked a pet friendly room. The rate for this room was less than the one we had booked so i wasted my reward paying for it. Will definitely double check availability with the motel/ hotel next time.

Exceptional accommodation. Newly refurbished rooms, extremely comfortable bed with all the facilities. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommended.

Fridge was a little small for an extended stay but perfectly fine for a short stop over. This was the only downside. Everything else was exceptional.

Stylishly renovated, beautiful room, showerhead was great, great pool, complimentary water and coke at check-in was nice. Pillows were so soft and comfortable. Towels white and fluffy.

No housekeeping on our room during our 2 night stay, wouldn't have mattered except there was no dish soap or tea towels provided to wash the dishes and mugs provided.

Good size with everything for a basic stay.

The place could really do with an update. The 60s decor has a certain charm but a bit of maintenance (painting & properly completed repairs) would go a long way. Despite being a fair distance from the highway there was quite a bit of road noise. Overall the place just feels like the owner doesn't care about it, aside from the income it brings.

There was not one glass in the room no beer glasses, no wine glasses, no juice glasses, no tea towel and no washing up liquid Did not like the fridge it was a small wine type fridge, with no freezer.

The three children loved the big pool. We found the rooms very cosy and well suited for a family. Spacious. Crockery and utensils to serve up a meal. A nice big kitchen table. Its not flash but provided everything we needed to come home to after a day out exploring . 😊

The Mother of one child suggests the door from kitchen into meeting room be locked from the unit as she didnt want the children going in there.
