Lorikeets is a place of peace and tranquility with comfortable cabins and amenities. It is in walking distance to the beach and is a great place to rest and switch off. The cabins were quite comfortable with games available in the rooms and in other places around the park as well. Room contained a full size fridge, stove top and microwave. There is loads of wildlife around to sit and enjoy.

There isn't many places in close vicinity to purchase food and groceries, but is only a short drive to larger towns and Coffs Harbour. Stock up on essentials before you get there. Phone reception in the area was poor for me and so forced us to switch off devices (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

Lorikeet is a very peaceful place to spend a night or longer. It is right next to the beach and surrounded by shady trees. The cabin was very neat and extremely clean. The only problem I had was I could not get the cooktop to work but luckily there was a Frypan which I had to put to work. I would definitely stop there again.

As I said above, I could not turn the hot plate on and there were no instructions. There was no chopping board and extremely basic cooking appliances, just a large frying pan. I am a widow in my eighties and I travel north regularly to visit family. I always choose cabins to stop in as I organise meals for myself, rather than having to drive out at night to get a meal.

Communication prior to stay was excellent though nobody around for the rest of the weekend. Fortunately, we did not need assistance. Air conditioning and heater in bathroom was appreciated.

The villa was not quite as modern or fresh and bright looking as the photos depicted. The main glass door could not be locked from outside. Screen door was difficult to move - needs a new runner. Vanity lighting is missing two bulbs leaving a exposed electrical current which is a potential safety hazard. No internet could be an issue though it seems not much can be done to improve because of the location.

We loved the peaceful serenity of the cabins over looking the creek & bush land and the many different species of animals we encountered. The cabin was cosy, clean & comfortable & had all we needed for a short stay. The beach was a short stroll away & a lovely walk through bush land & the pool area was most enjoyable on the very humid day we were there, whilst the beach was too windy to enjoy. I had a late check in, so didn’t meet the staff on the way in but the lady was most friendly with a lovely greeting & warm smile on the way out.

Nothing, we were there off season, the park was beautiful & quiet.

That the aircon was on when we got there the place was nice and cool inside on a hot day Also the activities on the table for the kids was a great idea

There was only one thing I didn’t like and that was there was only 1 roll of toilet paper and it did not look like a full roll for two people for 3 nights And can I suggest some hot chocolate with the tea and coffee as not everyone drinks tea and coffee and if you are travelling with kids it’s something for them to drink

Nice quiet and serene setting, Great facilities, Well equipped BBQ area. Rooms as described and well equipped. Easy to find location, easy access for after hours check in and check out. Very happy with our stay.

Bird feeding wasn't as interactive as we thought it may have been, After calling at 4.15pm to see if there would be bird feeding, he came down with a container of seeds and had emptied it into the bird baths within less than a min then left, the 3 kids were a bit disappointed they were unable to have some seeds for the feeding experience.

As short as our stay was, the cabin was very clean, had a nice kitchen and plenty of room for a family of 4. Spa and pool were lovely on the hot day after driving for a while.

Unfortunately, none of us got a good sleep. Everything else was absolutely amazing, but the beds were outdated and uncomfortable, and the bunk bed squeaked whenever someone moved, which could be heard from both rooms. Besides this, everything else was wonderful, and you can tell it was well looked after.

Loved the location, easy to find, great food options close by, quiet, great pool, short walk to beach, awesome accommodation. Stayed in 3 bedroom koala villa, which could easily handle 8-9 people. Spacious, airconned, toiletries supplied, so thrilled to have milk in the fridge on arrival, am booking again for return trip. Will be back in time for lorikeet feeding and will no doubt see more kangaroos around the grounds. Definately recommend. I think I'd stay longer next time. Definately a place to chill.

Didn't have time to play tennis, or use the pool/spa....next time!

They kindly upgraded us which was lovely and as my mum had trouble with a shower over the spa the separate shower was much appreciated. Lovely outlook from cabin and very quiet.

A little hard to find. Car navigation got it totally wrong. Luckily it was light but if arriving at night may prove difficult. Couldn’t get tv to work on Foxtel/Austar and commercial stations stopped and started too much to enjoy a show. Behind tv was very dirty and needs cleaning.

The friendly neighbours (kangaroos ) and elderly that surround this sanctuary were so lovely and kind. The people working onsite were most lovely to my children too who went for a quick swim and were greeted kindly. We're a large family, who were driving through headed for Port Macquarie. We were glad we made the stop here so that I could rest. I did feel rested upon waking and the beach a stroll away was such a bonus! Great place! Thankyou for having us!
