Room was a great size and comfortable. A/C worked well and having Netflix on the TV was an added bonus. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location for our event at Sodens was perfect.

Think it would help having allocated carparking for each unit. The parking area is a bit tight. Be good to open up the gravel area for parking. Maybe some parking barriers and simple spray paint line marking to show the parking spots might help. The breakfast is a light one - toast cereal, condiments etc. There is a good cafe down the road about 400m called 2640 Restaurant and Bar (550 Kiewa St Albury).. Continental breakfast,coffee pod,kitchenette with sink bar fridge,microwave. Comfy bed,room very spacious,plenty of bench space.Large shower cubicle,very large t.v screen. Great for motorcycle riders, With hotel around the corner 400m for lunch or dinner,plenty of parking space.10 minute walk to town for public transport,other eatery places.

Crockery is old worn, requires updating. Rice bubbles as one of 3 cereals, would of preferred cornflakes or weeties/weetbix more healthier choice for kids cereal.No instructions for the coffee pod machine.Bathroom Pipe under the sink has a leak, floor around the drain pipe slippery and dangerous on the floor tiling rm 24.Smokers standing at there room door smoking with the door wide open and having to walk past on a small narrow balcony.

The accommodation was very central and quiet. Breakfast was included, cereal and toast, which suited us perfectly. What was even better was that it was provided in the room. This meant that we could leave really early and still have a bite to eat before we left. The staff was lovely and even provided suggestions for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable.

The smoking area was just outside our room door (Room 1) which wasn't pleasant with all the early morning smokers - it needs to be relocated. The taps in the room and bathroom need new washers, they dripped unless you turned them off really hard and then it was a struggle to turn them back on again.

Things that are important to the traveller were superb. We had a large room, a luxuriously comfortable king bed, a great shower rose with superb water pressure, a large smart tv with lots of streaming options and a very efficient air conditioner. It doesn't look great from the street, but it's one of the most comfortable stays we've had for such a low price. We'll stay here again next time we travel through Albury.

I suspect it was a long time between cosmetic updates. But with the fabulous updates they have done, I didn't mind the older facilities and the brick walls. The continental breakfast isn't great.

the beds are extremely comfortable, the large screen TV is perfect for me. another plus I like is the pod coffee machine. The staff are lovely people who I enjoyed chatting with and their little dogs are adorable. I have stayed at Meramie several times now and intentionally select it on my stop overs in Albury. Furthermore if you are a motorcyclist needing a overnight rest you will be made welcome as the manager himself is a keen motorcycle enthusiast.

Even the most beautiful buildings age and the Meramie isn't excempt from aging. whilst it is not run down by any standards it is showing its age. The owners have invested correctly and provide its guests with clean, comfortable accommodation.

Room and amenities the right size for us

We stayed 3 days and put out the Please service our room” sign and all that happened was the bins were emptied. We really expected to come back to the beds being made after our long day of working. We were upstairs and there was a chain smoker sitting in front of the room directly under us into the late evening and so we couldn’t open the front window as it just sucked the cigarette smoke into our room. I’d suggested that the smoking area be away from the rooms.

This room had excellent heating on the freezing night we stayed which is important for us. The beds are very comfortable and breakfast is included in the price. The people at this motel are lovely. Thank you to them....

The room I booked is for disabled people, and has a curtain around the shower. Really necessary for someone in a wheelchair. It also has a rail around the loo. At 77 with bad hips, I found the rail helpful. The room is quiet and the TV worked well. The people at this motel are caring and I will stay there next time I visit Albury.

This was my second stay at Meramie and the staff are so lovely. I arrived late from Melbourne this time and they kindly arranged for me to grab my key from a keybox. Travelling and staying somewhere as a young girl alone is always a bit daunting but I always feel really safe here. Mel even made sure I had bread in my room ready for the morning.

Last time I stayed the room was immaculate. This time it was fine but there were LOTS of spiderwebs dangling from one corner to the other and all in the windows in the shower. It wasn't a big deal but I feel it could have been dusted.

Apart from the extra large rooms we had, the owners Aaron and Mel went out of their way in helping us with a huge problem we discovered when we arrived. We have been travelling from Tasmania on motorbike when we discovered that our rear tyre was worn down to canves and it was too dangerous to continue. We were in trouble as we could not get a replacement tyre for at least 5 working days. They helped us by allowing us to park the bike in their locked shed and hold all our gear as we made our way back to Sydney by train the next morning. They held all our stuff including the bike for us to return in 2 days with a trailer to tow the bike back home to Sydney. Again thank you very much to Aaron and Mel

There is nothing to dislike. The rooms are big, the location is close to the city centre, It has a great swimming pool, you also get breakfast and a large container of milk, all this at a great price

Loved the king-sized bed, it was extremely comfortable. .Loved the extra large TV, and the streaming service was fantastic. The room was very large and spacious also good. Big shower with good shower head. All excellent!

You need to be Samson to turn on the bathroom cold tap. Someone has turned it off hard because it I leaking, needs new washers. Nice breakfast, but only one plate for cereal. Unable to advise staff because reception was locked on departure key box only
