We arrived as a family on the 23rd of December, ready to spend our Christmas break. Unfortunately, the first night was disrupted by a rare occurrence of a loud family unaware of the camp rules. Security arrived, and this was swiftly fixed with a free upgrade to a larger cabin free of charge with a refund for our trouble. The staff go above and beyond with Chris, Brooke, natalie, and the reception staff always going that extra mile. I've been vacationing in parks for 4 years. However, I can confidently say this park is the best in NSW. it's home from home with perks and comforts that aren't in other parks. The staff work harder than any other park I've stayed in. They're always around to help. The coffee truck was a really nice touch every day, and on Christmas day, the park had paid for everyone to have their first coffee. The seafood truck navigating the site a few times a week made relaxing and staying on site even more convenient. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, extra facilities for the children were abundance along with plenty of space even at full capacity it never felt too busy! Thanks for the memories. Will be back to feed the ducks!

Heading home

The location is really great. Right at the southern end of Lake Macquarie. A hidden little gem. Great value for Lake-front accommodation. The check-in experience was easy, and the staff were pleasant, professional, and informative. The grounds were being constantly maintained during our visit and the staff were pleasant. Security level was medium with a PIN operated gate at the front of the park. The coffee and tea supplies were as you might expect and gratefully ignored. The size of the TV's was great. Furnishings were functional and very comfortable. Would have loved another week here.

The unit was clean but a little tired and rough around the edges and could definitely do with some tidying up around the exterior. Ie; gutters overflowing and weeds growing out of them. Mould and algae stains on exterior building surfaces. The master bedroom has glass bricks with no way of blocking the sun out, so you're awake at the crack of dawn whether you want that or not. The bedclothes also left a little to be desired. Pillows looked pretty old, and a microfibre comforter in between two cotton sheets is not really up to my standard when I go way. Overall though, if there were block out blinds installed we would absolutely do this one again.

Stayed in a motel pod, it was nice, new and surprisingly cosy, with good bedding, comfortable bed and tropical shower head. A very pleasant foreshore walk nearby. Thankfully, the noise from the nearby major power station wasn't audible anywhere near the room.

Originally we booked budget room that was a bit noisy. It's in a building with several rooms, and all the aircons are bolted to the wall of one room on the side, so if that's a problem for you then arrive early and check yourself (the staff doesn't necessarily know). Thankfully to the amazing staff, they really helped us to find another room, and that made our day!

The location was a close drive from home but still gave us a "far away from home feel". Our 2 nights stay was very relaxing, we had everything handy in the park - a coffee truck, a food truck. We had a good walk around the area, close to the waters. The communication was very well delivered - instructions on checking in, codes for the boom gate; regular text message updates; friendly and polite staff. More importantly, wifi access was really convenient! We were also lucky to have a very nice weather on the entire time we were there.

Can't complain with anything. We truly enjoyed the time we were there and will definitely return with friends on a bigger accommodation that can fit at least 6 people. We only had a studio as it was only myself and my husband; just right for 2 people on a short stay.

We stayed in a waterfront villa. It was clean, well equipped, the bed was comfortable and you never get tired of the stunning view of the lake. It was perfect for us as we primarily came up to relax and do a bit of fishing. The staff were brilliant. When we checked out I mentioned we wanted to hang around for a few more hours to do some more fishing, and asked if there were any public toilets nearby. They were kind enough to offer us access to the parks facilities and a place to park our car . I will definitely come back!

No complaints. Well, the door key snapped off in the security door first time we went to lock it but that was a minor inconvenience which we laughed off with the staff. They quickly gave me a replacement key so all good.

We stayed at Ingenia for my sons footy comp located nearby and a few parents stayed at the same place. Such a great Family friendly environment- the kids kept themselves super busy with all that ingenia had to offer - playground, pool, jumping pillow, the cart rides, chasing ducks and enjoying the water view at the fishing wharf! The parents also had a great time hanging out together around the cabins or the BBQ area cooking up a storm while the children ran a muck! Its a Very safe place! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a cabin on the lake front. The first morning, I could sit out on the verandah and watch the swans and ducks swim while drinking my coffee made from the espresso machine. They also had some trikes that you could hire and ride around the park with your kids. Great jumping pillow and all the playground pillow and pool were placed i the one spot. Not spread out all over the place.😀

The pool was cold almost freezing, but for the time of year, we braved it. Maybe some heating? The play equipment could use some TLC. As one of the climbing things has broken. But I understand these things are hard to come by.

It was great staying here as it was pet friendly, and we were travelling with our small puppy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. 😀 The BBQ area looked great, although we didn't use it. We enjoyed walking around the pathway along the lake. It was a bonus to get a complementary room upgrade, so I'm not sure how small the original room we booked would have been. Thank you for the upgrade.

Our bed could have been more comfortable. It would be good if they didn't have the carpet upstairs, especially when it rains and it gets muddy outside.

The room was situated right beside the lake and the views were stunning. We liked how spacious the property was, and that it came furnished with all the essentials for a family's stay. The property also has a playground within the premises and in the day, there's a trampoline to entertain the kids. They were also happy to accommodate our early check-in so that was very nice!

Our room was situated beside a Yacht Club (which we did not know of). On the day of our check-in, they were hosting an event onsite until quite late so the noise was quite loud until about 9pm that evening. However, this is also out of the property's control, but something that you may wish to be mindful of if you book a similar property to ours on a weekend.

Comfy bed, shower was fantastic. Nice pool, nice location to lake. Great place to get away for a few days & not use the car. Great electric fry pan. Nice skylight in bathroom. Nice having meals or drinks on balcony. Our 4 legged friend also seemed to enjoy.

Not enough cooking utensils like a peeler, salad bowl, oven trays, grilling tray or small fry pan. Empty shampoo in shower. No extra blankets in main bedroom. Main bedroom to small for bed size.
