We loved the absolute water front, friendly staff, super cosy homely comfortable feeling in the room with all little special touches. The shower products..... shampoo conditioner and bodywash are beautiful I want to try to source some for our home. Coffee machine was an added bonus and the biscuits they provided were delicious so different to what you normally get. We are looking forward to coming back and staying again and we have already recommended it to some family and friends

Tha air con was not very good it was on 16 degrees and we put the fan on too in the end to help, our sons room remained VERY warm and our room cooled down eventually but it could do with something better for the 2nd room

The room was everything I wanted and expected. My family stayed here for a Wedding at Caves Beach. My room was well appointed with great facilities and a great welcome from the staff. My room was very clean with a waterfront view. Plenty of plates, cups, clean and facilities. The pictures are true. I got to sit by a lovely riverside chair and enjoy the peace and quiet.This place is full of interesting things and many people were fishing from the private dock. It is a super well appointed place with vintage, interesting touches. Nothing was missing. The Manager even helped us, in a state of panic to get to our Wedding event,. Outstanding place and staff. It was so relaxing and I will come back. Well located too.

The room was small but it was awesome. So clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was old but so clean and the water pressure was great! It had a fan, an aircon and besides a kettle, tea, instant coffee, biscuits etc even had a coffee pod machine. There was a screen door that we could lock so we could get fresh air and some insect repellent if required. Truly one of the best little motels we have stayed in. I would recommend 10/10

That we only had 1 night to stay.

The location was superb, right on the lake with comfortable chairs to relax in near the water. We relaxed in the sunshine after we drove 2 hours from Sydney. The room was very compact but was comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Being a Sunday there was no reception, but our keys were set out for us and the cleaning ladies on site were very helpful. We only stayed overnight as we were travelling further, so didn't need to shop but there are cafes and groceries across the road if required.

I paid for a lake view then housekeeping parked right in that view for 4/5hrs a day Room was cozy lol Can hear traffic if bathroom door is open &/or ac is not on

We booked standard double room and received room looking out to the water which was an excellant outlook, plus no street noise. Comfy bed. Toaster, couple of plates & bowls, cultlery, to enable breakfast to be had on the chairs outside in morning sun. Its a small motel room that was good value for money.

Shower hot & cold controls located near ground level, below shower nozzle, made initial start of water flow challenging. Most unusual plumbing installation we have come across.

Everything, The motel is an older property, That said it was scrupulously clean. Toaster, Microwave, speedy jug, Even a Nespresso coffee machine! with caps supplied (Wow!) Ceiling fan (New and clean) Aircon was older but got the job done. (A lot better than the newer ones) Cutlery, plates etc. Blew me away! And The Scottish Restaurant is just over the road. And Cafes in easy walking distance.

Loved everything, If I was going to pick something, the tiles in the bathroom, pink and various colors and the hot pink tiles Big deal, the water pressure in shower was excellent. And I can live with pink.

In a great central location beside the water. The male receptionist was not really welcoming, but I think that’s just his nature. We met the cleaner next morning & she was full of local information which was a great help.

Receptionist was rather stand-offish, a smile goes a long way. We were unable to find the reverse cycle heater power at night so thought the radiant fan was all we had to heat the room so we froze all night. A compendium in the room would be very helpful & would have prevented us from being cold.

The staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The location was great for us, just a walk to many shops. We walked home safely from the RSL down the road. The noise from the traffic wasn't very noticeable at night, so we had good night's sleep. The room was clean, neat and tidy. The bed and pillows were comfortable.The price was also pretty good for the busy season. My partner even had a bit of a fish out the back. We would definitely stay there if we were up that way again.

There wasn't a parking spot always available for our car.

The location perfect, on the waters edge and tables for two provided to sit and enjoy the view. The attention to detail in providing for guests was exceptional, for us , nothing had been forgotten. The staff were always very obliging and helpful. We were hoping for a relaxed stay, providing a level of self catering but with options close by for eating out. It ticked all those boxes and more. The good reviews I read before booking are well deserved, here is another!
