All the staff were super-friendly and helpful - highly commend all staff that we met during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and every effort was made to accommodate our requests. Loved the little touches like a hotel voucher for forfeiting room service, bathroom sensor light, water bottle refills from the bar. Lovely design and vibe; bed was very comfortable. Convenient location for trains, shopping, restaurants.

The noise woke us up at times - our room was next to the housekeeping stairwell and the squeaking and slamming door was constant after 7am. We could hear other guests in the corridor and their doors closing, too. Could be difficult if you are a light sleeper

I love the entrance Lobby / mixed in bar restaurant socialising foyer and always the warm welcome , I don’t know if I was recognised as a repeat regular or not but I had an upgrade which always put me on cloud nine it shows that I’m appreciated that’s all it takes to win my heart sometimes ! I’m easily pleased just be nice and good reviews will follow I ponder who and who not to review ! Only the good and goodest bestest awesomeist get reviewed first the bad ones I don’t stay with so if you appear on my reviews well done your top of the crop best around and most appreciated for your dedication and commitment to excelling in the Service industry. Again really hard I tried to give an unbiased view review about everywhere. I stay once again very difficult to find something I don’t like at the Morris perhaps after the restaurant closes there could be a little bit more discretion at the lifts when you’re coming in late as I do.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Morris Sydney. My room had the most comfortable bed, nicely decorated with art deco inspired interior design, curated in all details. I appreciated little touches like including a portable steamer inside a velvet pouch or the Nespresso capsule so I could have a nice coffee first thing in the morning. At my arrival I was greeted by a lovely host who had a little goodie bag ready for me! I forgot her name but you are the best! What really made my stay special was all the staff that made me feel right at home during my first time in Sydney. I want to thank Laura for my first Australia Flat white (amazing), Luis for always being so bubbly, the bartender Jonathan ( i think!) for the lovely drinks! and a massive thank you to all the others I had the pleasure meeting! I hope to be back soon!

The hotel is extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished and the bar and reception staff are fantastic. The location is excellent - close to Chinatown, Pyrmont, Oxford Street and the City.

The bathroom wasn't very clean at all; there was toothpaste on the shower floor and a dirty razor on the bathroom floor. Wet towels were left in the shower (the housekeeper forgot to take them). The bottle for the complimentary water was taken and not returned. We requested our rooms be close together, but they were on different floors meaning our daughters couldn't access our floor. We were advised that our room was an upgrade, but it was actually the same as the room our daughters had. These are not huge issues, just some constructive criticism. We'd stay here again.

The staff were great and it was only a two minute walk to the Capital Theatre. The Westfield (tower experience) and Darling Harbour are also within walking distance. The hotel is restored beautifully, nice and quiet at night even though it is centrally located. The bar has a lovely ambiance to sit and have a drink. We will definitely return.

If you like space you would want to book one of the larger rooms. Ours wasn't the smallest so it was fine. It's definitely a boutique hotel. The pillows (while luxurious) were a bit high for me so I put in a request for a smaller one. Housekeeping responded so quickly and brought the perfect one.

The room was very clean and quiet. We stayed three nights at the hotel, and the room was cleaned every day by the housekeeper. The location of this hotel is awesome. There are so many nice restaurants outside the hotel, and Chinatown is just a 4-minute walk away. It's close to the train station and everything else.

The room is way smaller than the picture we saw online. We have one check-in luggage and one carry-on luggage, and the room was already full. The check-in process is a bit slow. It took us almost 30 minutes to check in.

Location was very handy to Chinatown and central Sydney. The room was spacious and well laid out. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The walls are thin, and the noise of the lift was audible through my room door. People were talking in the neighbouring hotel room as I went to bed. They weren't being loud or raucous, they were just having a slightly animated conversation. It was so audible, it sounded like they were in my bathroom! To the hotel's credit, they provided ear plugs promptly when I asked for them, and offered to ask the neighbours to quieten down (I declined as they really weren't behaving inappropriately in any way).

The rooms very clean and tidy and tastefully styled. Although we could not check in early, we were able to store out luggage and it was placed in our rooms when we checked in. The food in the downstairs restaurant was exceptional. Loved the Nespresso machine and pods provided.

The rooms are very small. I would have loved to have some cold drinking water provided in the room each day. There is no waiting or lobby area, and it feels odd to have to wait in the small bar area. It took a long time to check in with lots of details having to be confirmed and being required. This could potentially be done online.

small and charming hotel. My room was very clean and quiet. The staff was always welcoming when I arrived back in the afternoon. It's a great place if you are looking for something other than a "big box" hotel. Amenities such as a glass bottle of filtered water which could be "topped up" at the bar and the option to skip a full room cleaning for a $10 credit at the bar (snacks or drinks) is a great idea, eco friendly!! Happy to recommend Hotel Morris!

My only concern was the location, it is convenient to Central Station and Chinatown tram stop but, I questioned coming back later at night as a solo traveler.
