Great location. There was a top view across Port Stephens from the balcony outside the room. The facilities were relatively basic but good. It was a one minute walk to the pure white sands and crystal clear waters of Dutchmans Beach. Superb water in which to cool down.

It had been pointed out that the room was not air conditioned but did have fans which did work reasonably enough. Unfortunately our stay coincided with very warm humid nights for which air conditioning would have provided us with a far more comfortable sleep. Be aware of this if you intend to stay during the hot humid months of the year.

Everything was fantastic, the location, the view, the shower and general size of the room.

The bed was very uncomfortable and both my partner and I were sore enough to need painkillers in the morning to get us going.

Lovely room, with ocean view. Not modern but cleverly designed for privacy and everything else. Quiet part of town. Staff were so welcoming and flexible to our wishes.definitely recommend.

Close to town and water, comfortable bed, tidy.

Bedroom window wouldn't shut properly, toilet ran quietly all the time. Couldn't lock the door screen, all a bit tired. Just fans, no aircon, 50 litre hot water system.

Excellent location. Exceptional view. Everything was new inside the apartment.

Air-conditioner unit in balcony was a bit uncomfortable as it blows hot air directly on to you. Had to switch off to sit on balcony.

Location was amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. Full windows look out onto the beach, gorgeous. Good size room, kitchenette with eco-friendly jug of water. Miniatures were aboriginal which was lovely, but would prefer large refill bottles to reduce plastic. Early check-in request was accommodated, and free parking was convenient.

The sliding door / windows didn't give a great sense of security, I felt exposed with the lights on at night (curtains were available but then you lose the view) and the sliding doors did lock, but they didn't feel the most sturdy. As a solo traveler I felt a little vulnerable. TV was old-school channels, no streaming service. Signage to reception appears to point you to a different hotel, the main office door could do with a sign for Dutchies, as well as the hotel behind.

It is in a great spot with beautiful water view's & the bed was really comfortable

We liked the way it was set out with a separate lounge room. Although it was old it was value for money.

Awesome location with a nice view of the bay. It’s a stone’s throw to the beautiful Dutchies beach and an easy 15 min stroll into Nelson Bay along a lovely shady path

The fans were good but A/C would have been better. Note the only cooking facility is a microwave

Short distance from Nelson Bay shops, parking available close to unit, the view, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchenette, lockbox for key, cleanliness and presentation on arrival, free WiFi.

No access to a pool or spa, ceiling in main bedroom had water damage and paint and fluff fell on the floor and bedside table.

Great check in. Staff communication excellent via text and email. Easy to locate motel. Views of beach from our verandah Room 1 where breathtaking.

Bathroom could do with an update. Though it was spacious and water pressure in shower was great.
