Modern & clean rooms. The comfortable bed & pillows. Room tidy & fresh towels every day if you want it. Welcoming & helpful staff. Laundry access any time. The Lake foreshore is across the road & gives nice views. Close to shops. Pop up coffee van out front that has great coffee & food.

The road noise. The motel entrance is off a very busy road. A large home is being constructed next door & it was a very noisy & dusty site. The building was well on the way when we arrived & I thought a warning should have been given when we booked (if the build had started at the time we made our booking) or before we arrived (a small discount or something in lieu could have been offered.

Fresh clean and comfortable renovated motel style room with ample lounge area and kitchenette. Easy parking at the front of the room. Easy use heating and cooling, and smart TV. Comfortable bed with crisp linen and extra blanket and pillows available. Great shower pressure and no issues with hot water. Easy walk along the lake front to the Warners Bay Hotel and the restaurants in Warners Bay shopping strip. Would stay here again. Was easy access under the bridge to the lakeside walking path. Coffee hut at the front of the clock was very popular with locals and visitors (we didn't try). Also features a well rated teppanyaki restaurant in the block (again didn't visit).

We loved this little hotel and can tell it's had some recent renovations. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and really we didn't need anything else for the 2 days we stayed there. We loved the coffee cart, that was an added bonus. The location was close to plenty of places to eat and to the water.

The shower was just a tad too small and the water went everywhere. Thankfully I was able to get more linen off the cleaning staff to replace all the towels and floor mats. This is not something that can really be fixed but the volume of traffic, made it really difficult when trying to turn right and onto the main road. We ended up turning left and doing a U-turn.

What truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional customer service provided by the receptionist. She was incredibly chatty and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and offering insightful suggestions for things to do in the area. Her genuine warmth and enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience at the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend the Esplanade Hotel for anyone visiting Warners Bay. With its impeccable cleanliness, modern amenities, and outstanding customer service, it's the perfect choice for a memorable stay.

Great location, lovely staff with well appointed room including a microwave and cutlery.

A safety concerns is the extremely hot water and the unmarked taps in the bathroom: as the water is slow to come through it remains cold until it isn’t, making taps even harder to decipher. The tiled floor is horrendously slippery made worse by the open shower so the water travels considerably. Last thing is I believe any dishes used need to be replaced with clean ones, dirty dishes should be taken away and washed in a dishwasher .

Room was tastefully renovated and spacious enough for two adults. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Great motel location across the road from the lake shore and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The motel also has a restaurant on the premises, offering a good selection of Japanese teppanyaki dishes.

The bathroom did not have an extractor fan which resulted in buildup of condensation during showering; this made the tile floor very wet and potentially slippery.

Everything was great. The check-in was quick and easy, and the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was even nicer than the photos, very comfortable very modern. I think this is the best motel I've ever stayed in. I don't know why there's no photos on the website of the view from the upstairs balcony rooms, it made me a bit sceptical that there was any view at all, but it was actually quite a nice view. and being a bit back from the busy main road, the noise wasn't really a problem. The coffee truck right out the front is a great idea, although I didn't get to use it as there's only a few seats in shade and it was a very hot weekend, so I didn't want to be sitting in the direct sun. The property is about a 10-15 minutes stroll along the waterfront back to Warners Bay shopping area for cafes, supermarket etc. There's a Teppanyaki restaurant on site, which i didn't go to, but there were several groups of people showing up for it, so it must be popular, and despite being almost right nextdoor to the restaurant I didn't hear anything at all from my room, which was great.

My only problem with the room was that there were no proper curtains. There was a black see-through "privacy" curtain, but nothing else, so there was a lot of light coming into the room, which kept me awake. And then i was woken up by all the light coming in once the sun had come up - not everyone wants to be awake at 6.30am on their holidays! especially after being kept awake by the light in the room during the night. If some proper curtains were installed, I'd very happily stay here again.

Room and facilities are good, team are friendly and helpful- it’s well located about a kilometre from the town, we walked in and out along the lakeside. It’s a good location as a base to explore the area, has a coffee shop at the entrance that we would recommend (also the locals do)

The views are not great from the rooms, but then if , like us, you don’t spend time in your room then in our view it would not stop us returning

Nicely renovated room in a good location. Across the road from the water, short drive or walk along the bay to supermarkets, restaurants etc. Very comfortable bed, older motel so the solid walls mean the room is quiet, excellent air con, smart tv to connect & stream via device or free to air. Great to have a microwave, toaster & kettle. Easy instructions vis sms for check-in. Smiling face in the reception office 🙂.

Lovely big room. Great water pressure and water temperatures in the bathroom. The pool area was very nice and clean, with a free bbq for our use.

There was a lot of ambient light in the room at night time. Also, in the evening, noise from the on-site tepanyaki restaurant, in the morning, noise from the coffee shop. My room was to the front of the site. Perhaps one further back might have been better.
