mid week above a pub. it was basic, but it was clean and neat. no noise or issues. It was quite cheap so was not expecting too much, but for the money it really represented good value and exceeded my expectations for a room above a pub. I was pleasantly surprised by it. room had a big tv (although I didn’t use it). the bistro in the pub downstairs was a pretty good feed too.

No bar fridge in the room was a minor inconvenience. And no where to leave you key if checking out early. I guess you just leave it in the lock. maybe have a box or instructions on check in?

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My husband rang the hotel the day before we arrived and asked if we could have safe parking for our trike. Without hesitation, the young man he was chatting to said yes, you can park it in our shed. On arrival, the young lady who greeted us directed my husband around the back to the shed and made sure the shed was locked up for the night. All the staff, including the cleaning staff at the hotel, are very friendly and professional. I would recommend the Australian hotel in Young for a stay.

The lady at the bar was really nice and friendly it felt warm

The shower water was dangerous it went really cold then super hot quickly the whole time there was no warm water just hot or cold. WAter pressure was great not fussed on the stairs leading up to room a bit dangerous and unsafe. I personally hate stairs due to an accident years ago at high school people should be given the option stairs or no stairs.

Good location. Well run pub with friendly staff. Excellent bistro meals. plenty of TVs for watching sports. Two fireplaces so nice and warm in cold weather. TAB are well set up but a bit out of the way. Accommodation was good for price. Bathrooms are about to be renovated which will make them better. Perfect for boys weekend or golf or fishing trips.

Not much. Share bathrooms in the upstairs accommodation below average but plenty of hot water water so suitable for big groups. and renovations planned.

The location was fantastic right around the CBD. Staff was very friendly.

Most of the rooms i stayed in had mini fridges and windows for light. Room 12 i stayed in 2 weeks and could be a bit more spruced up since it lacks a window and have a fridge like the rest. The back door immediate access is nice. But wven without all that it is still a lovely hotel.

Everything was what we required for our stay Only one issue was when we booked the room the money came off our credit card and on arrival we were charged for the room again at a different cost .. and nothing solved since between the accommodation place and booking .com

The staff were lovely and helpful. I would recommend others to stay here.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the room.

It had everything we needed. Air conditioning, huge TV, comfortable bed, bathroom, etc. Staff were helpful and friendly, and great value for money.

The temperature of the shower changed.

Very suitable for single person overnight stay at extremely reasonable price in good central location. Nothing to add.

the room was big enough with a mini bar fridge that I was not expecting. Bed was super comfy and dinner was delicious

you could hear every time some one left there room and also being near the shared bathroom was also noisy.
