We had such a lovely stay at Shingley Beach, the apartment was stunning with great ocean views, it was really spacious with a good lounge and kitchen area and a really generous balcony. There are two apartment buildings, one at the front and another behind but on a steep hill, we were in the front building but based on the steep hill i assume the apartments behind also had a good view. There was also a lovely restaurant and some cafes within a short walking distance which was great.

Great place to stay. Facilities were clean and kitchen well equipped. Coffee shop on site is very good. Pools lovely. Air con awesome. View great. Position good just out of busyness of town but not too far too walk in.

We weren't aware there are lots of stairs to get to your room And no lifts. That's ok when it's just you walking but hard to navigate with your luggage. should be mentioned also in case potential guests have inability to navigate so many stairs.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment (No. 9) The view was stunning and the 2 bedrooms upstairs were a great size each with their own spacious bathrooms. The resort is out of town but not too far so it's nice and quiet and very pretty.

Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to our apartment & then another flight to get to our bedroom, The living area is tiny and there is no way 6 adults fit in it. Kitchen had no space. Chairs around the dining table were squashed in to fit 6 chairs. 2 pools one a plunge pool which was heated and the other in the front of the building so after walking down 2 flights of stairs to get out of your apartment you had to walk down a steep driveway or more stairs to get to the main pool.

We liked everything about this resort. Our apartment was fantastic. Very spacious with a comfortable interior for relaxing in the evening. An excellent kitchen area which had all that we needed to self cater. The bedroom and bathroom were really nice and big. The pool was very clean. Easy access along the boardwalk made for a lovely stroll into town. Shingley beach is at the quieter end. We would recommend these apartments.

No restaurant (although stated restaurant in advertising) and very steep walk up to the top 2brm apartments with access to a pool with no seating...only front rooms have a large pool with seating etc Also very little interaction with staff and very little information given at check in regarding local places to eat etc

The staff were brilliant. We made this booking at the last minute as my wife became sick and we needed somewhere for 2 nights. The property was immaculately clean. Whilst it is dated they are in the process of upgrading the units and everything you need is there. The studio was large enough for us. It is quiet as the road it’s on is a cull de sac so not a lot of traffic.

The only negative is the mobile signal is bad there but the complex wifi was great.

I found the location was great as the resort was located in a quiet street with a park area across the road and lovely views. You could easily walk into Airlie Beach along a coastal boardwalk. There were many cafes and restaurants nearby. The onsite cafe was great too. We loved the pool and its surrounds, and we loved seeing all the birdlife in the area.

We were very happy there although the air conditioner in the main room was a little difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Just a minor problem though.

Well equipped and comfortable rooms, clean and with two balconies. The lady in reception was friendly and helpful. Lovely views. Good pool area, if only the furniturewas more comfortable. Great cafe on site.

Poolside furniture was uncomfortable so didn't linger. Annoying alarm going off frequently, we think from the cafe. Shower difficult to get into, though the pressure was good.

A little bit of maintenance is required in Room 22 Bathroom door needs oiling. Kitchen sink tap needs repairing and fridge door for stocking bottles needs repairing. Maybe there could be a small bin for recycle also go under Kitchen bench with general waste bin

The location of the resort was ideal, not too busy and close enough to the main part of Airlie. The unit was beautiful with unbelievable sea views. Everything was so clean and laid out perfectly. Will definitely be back . Stayed in unit 10 a 3 bed unit and well worth every penny.

There wasn't really anything not to like , lots of stairs but honestly you wouldn't get the views without the stairs and exercise never killed anyone.
