BSS ticked all our boxes, especially at this price point. Location is convenient for buses and trains, and very close to local services including restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. It’s a short trip into Brisbane centre. The studio is compact, and consists of everything you need for self-catering if you wish. We had a comfortable sleep, and the small shower room is perfectly adequate. There is a small outside space and the property is clean and tidy. The AC was welcome and very effective!

It’s located on a busy route into the city so the road noise could be intrusive for some. The facilities are basic but met our expectations at this price.

Very close to the PA Hospital which was the purpose

Had trouble opening the door which wasn't a big deal but a warning would have been good. When I came back in the dark with my arms full and couldn't open it I reslised why it was l eft ajar when I arrived. Air con noisy. Bathroom window opened onto someone else's outdoor seating area and faced the street. Also despite what Tim said I didn't see anything on booking.com to warn me there was no on-site parking. Still overall not unhappy and will probably come back as the proximity to the hospital is great.

The price is good, the location is good cause it is within walking distance to UQ and right next to the supermarket, only takes one bus to the city centre, walking distance to the city park. Staff was helpful, washing and cooking is included in the payment (self cooking and asking staff to use their washing machine and dryer)

The location is near busy street so not suitable for people who are not used to busy cities. Despite this, the rooms are well sound-proof. Noice only becomes the problem when you sit outside. Room might be small and a bit old but still clean.

I went there with my daughter for her tennis tournament. The location is excellent! 5 min walking distance to Woolworth and it’s shopping plaza, cafe cross the street and McDonald’s near by all making this great place for us.

The property is very noisy at night, due to the traffic sounds, especially the first couple of nights, then you kind of got used to it. They do provide earplugs. I think there is a hospital nearby? Lot of helicopters and ambulance sounds at night, which is such a shame. The pillow cases we had didn’t smell very fresh which I didn’t really like it.

Great location with ready access to public transport, a shopping centre and cafes.Tim was very helpful and as my room did not have a washing machine he put a load of washing through and returned it to me dry at no extra charge. Great service.

It met all my expectations. This is not luxury accommodation but it had everything I needed for the week.

My sister and I stayed for 15 days. Great compact studio. Close to amenities and public transport, close to the city and excellent WiFi. I appreciated the kitchen facilities and washing machines in the apartment. Overall it excellent. Looking forward to booking again for my next trip to Brisbane.

The location was excellent! Very close to bus stops, shops and eateries. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic items you would need.

Just 2 minor issues. One with the bathroom tap aerator that needed to be changed and the deep fryer was over used and needs to be replaced.

Close to amenities and public transport..Close to city Good WiFi. Washing machine / dryer a fabulous feature. Kitchenette great for meals too. Plenty of eat out options with more only a short bus ride away.

Traffic noise is evident at night and might be a problem for some..I didn't find it unbearable! Earplugs are provided complimentary in room - a nice touch of service. TV reception was a bit patchy at times.

Brisbane Street Studios delivered exactly what it said on the tin. The location was excellent. The hotel is an easy walking distance away from both public transport and a decent shopping centre. The facilities were completely usable, and the privacy was good.

Of course, it was quite difficult to get to the hotel since there is no available parking and since it is wedged between a main road and a suburb. You cannot drive yourself and you cannot realistically walk with luggage. So, on arrival, at least a taxi is needed.

it was perfect for my needs. The unit contained everything necessary for a five night stay: microwave, small induction cooktop, fridge/freezer, even a washer/ dryer! And a very good air conditioner that was heating up the room, on a cold Brisbane night, upon my arrival. The bed was comfy, the facilities were quite modern and the complex appeared to be a hidden gem in the middle of a very busy suburb, with the PA Hospital being just down the road.

There appeared to be metered street parking only, as the small car park was taken. However there is free parking on Brisbane Street from 7 pm to 7 am. I left for work at 7:30 each day and never received a ticket.
