Concierge very polite despite our poor vehicle placement. Had meal both nights in CBD - good and interesting range of menu items and service excellent. Room was comfortable and clean and great access to convention centre

Couldn't get a booking at Bacchus for our arrival evening. I didn't fill in a review for our last visit in May. The receptionist at that time made a big problem out of the fact my credit card was in my single name and booking in married name - refused to accept the card that I use for everything. I did not have this problem at this visit

This is a great location very close to Southbank, ferry, train and bus transport as well as only a short walk to the city. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby and the performing art centre, museum and art gallery is also an easy walk. We had a river view room which was great as it also offered view of the new Casino lit up. Our room was spacious and comfortable. This is not a new hotel, however I have no fault to find with this accommodation and would stay here again.

We had a river facing room which was quiet, however I noticed that the train line ran behind the hotel, so rooms at the back may be noisier.

Flash place, friendly staff, perfect spot right in the heart of Southbank. For gym goers, it’s gym is actually decent for what it is, small with limited workout stations but far better than any other place i’ve stayed at. Spa right next to gym is also good. Concierge (Valet) staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Big thanks to those guys.

Valet parking $55 a night is excessive. Also take pictures of your car front to back before you hand over your keys. My vehicle received damage that i believe was never there prior to my stay, but since i cannot confirm that, i’ll take it on the chin and call it even. Other people staying are also quite judgmental if you don’t look like you can afford to stay there. Must be a city thing.

I stay at Rydges every stop in Brisbane. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and very helpful.Location is fabulous right at Southbank, short walk to public transport both buses and trains.An easy stroll over the river to the city and the new Casino. The cafe / room-menu although a bit limited is full of yummy things to eat and not over the top prices…But the fact you are right by oodles of restaurant choices at Southbank this is no problem, The buffet breakfast is excellent and recommended.

I honestly can’t think of a single thing I don’t like.

The room we chose (king) was amazing. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bedroom was located separate from the living and kitchen area. There is a large balcony.The mini bar was well stocked and reasonably priced given the hotel's location. The bathroom is huge with a wonderful power shower and huge separate bath. Plenty of towels.The car valet service was professional and swift. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of hot and cold choices. Great location.

Sadly the cleaning let the room down slightly. We noticed that a shower cap had been placed over the smoke detector which should have been picked up during the cleaning. It is sad to think guests are not abiding by the safety rules and smoking in the room (annoying since there is a large balcony). I feel the guests who stayed there prior to our stay should be made accountable for their actions. Also I think given the cost and the high standard of the room, dressing gowns would have been advantageous and added that little extra.

Very large, comfortable room. Warm, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in Bachus restaurant. Dined in Bachus restaurant on the two nights we were there. Amazing💥 A special thanks to Luc for his amazing service. The restaurant is world class. All staff, including cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient. Particular thanks to those staff who serviced the 5th floor on the dates 13 and 14th November. The young girl on checkout on Friday the 15th was also exceptional. Very efficient staff who handled the influx of young people attending their school formals.:

From the moment you arrive the staff are exceptional. Valet parking is a little expensive but well worth it, you car is swept away with ease and returned with the same ease when required. Huge tick. The reception staff are wonderful smiling and nothing is a bother. Pool area and pool is great. Bar areas again serviced by great staff. Breakfast amazing, delicious and again terrific staff. Checkout a breeze. Will certainly stay again. Great position close to Southbank, restaurant and theatres.

Outstanding service - reception desk and CBD cafe - excellent customer service and great coffee Rooms are huge - important when staying more than a day or two. Very convenient location for the Performing arts centre and for the museums

A very small pool with no refreshments next to the pool during the day. Virtually impossible to use the pool as it is occupied by children most of the time. I understand it may not be possible to enlarge the pool easily, but extending the hours beyond 6 pm and making it off limits to children in the evening would be one idea. Very limited facilities in the gym - only machines with no yoga mats, fitness balls or similar available

Location was amazing. Bathroom was great. Room was quite large and night time view was quite good.

Only 2 towels for the 3 of us on the first night. I ordered 1 more through the app (which was going to cost $4) and it never showed up (the next day when we got back to our room after house keeping had arrived, there was now 4 towels in our room which was better. Upon arrival, we asked for Valet to have our car ready for 830am the next morning and they wrote it down, however the next morning, our car was not ready and they had to send someone to go get it (However that evening we again asked for it to be ready at 830 the next morning and it was there this time). There's about 1000 pillows in the room but they're all the same thin pillow. Would have liked some options with there being so many pillows..

Lovely rooms, very luxurious. A great view from the balcony. Excellent location, walking distance to everything in Southbank.

Upon check in they tried to charge us extra for the cash bond (double the amount we were told when we inquired by email before we arrived) and thankfully I had proof of the conversation so they since changed and honoured the original amount. This was also quite a process on check out to have this returned as they had to check the room first and this took a significant amount of time. The valet parking was helpful but very chaotic in trying to even find a spot to leave your car initially as the entry / parking area is so small. There was also some really loud music coming from the pool area late at night.
