The owner/manager was incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel very comfortable with our stay. Our unit was well cared for and we had everything we needed for our time there. We opted to drive or rideshare to the main area of town for most of our stay, but the distance was walkable if time allowed. The wifi was strong and allowed multiple people from my group to be connected and productive during our stay.

Our unit happened to be in a heavy foot traffic area so we kept the shades closed more frequently than we’d have liked, for privacy sake, but that was not the end of the world.

The after hours check-in instructions were clear and we had no trouble with this. The apartment had what we needed for our stay. The communication with the staff has been great and they have been really helpful as we left something behind and they are returning it to us. The stay was good value for money

The apartment is a little dated and basic, we had a little trouble figuring out the air con to start with having to pop the key in the wall in the kids bedroom?!

We had a quick trip with 4 little ones under 10; this was perfect for us with spacious rooms. Check-in was a breeze (even when we turned up earlier than we had initially booked). We loved the secure parking. Such a central location too, everything was just a 5 to 6 minutes drive away. Kids loved the pool and we had access to guest laundry which was great. The hosts were so wonderful as well😊

Sizeable room with full cooking facilities, large fridge, comfortable bed. I was not on the ground floor which I preferred. The laundary facilities worked well. Room had ironing board and iron

I did not mind the noise but for some the traffic noise may have been intrusive. Replenishing tea and coffee when servicing the room would have been good.

The pool was awesome. 2 teenagers loved it. Quiet warm and refreshing. Booked 2 bedroom apartment and motel room due to the size of our party. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was close to town. We were under the flight path, so we could hear the planes flighing during the day. Air-conditioners worked great. Gated secure parking, bit tight to manuvour. Would stay again

Parking out the back is a bit tight but manageable. But it is a secure parking area. Most guests seem to not have a car. All our tours we booked picked us up from the apartment, so we probably didn't need to hire a car.

the kids loved the pool. room was quiet. The airconditioning and fans worked well and kept it cool. Useful to have the cooking facilities in the apartment to make breakfasts. Great family accomodation with plenty of space and good value for money. They hosts were friendly and very helpful with tourist information. There is a nice pub/bistro very close by, as well as a supermarket and service station. We were first time visitors to cairns, and there are tours such as the skyrail, and barrier reef ones, which pick you up directly from the hotel which is very convenient.

a little bit further from the esplanade/city then we would have liked, but easy enough to get ubers around. would recommend getting a hire car if staying for a longer period to travel to the many beautiful areas, but that is our fault for not doing our research about location and the area.

shower head is too low noisy main road (but not too bad) room needs a makeover - fittings and cabinets are old beds were a bit hard

Michael and his wife are brilliant hosts, nothing was a problem. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. Lovely people to talk to and so pleasant. The pool was well maintained even though I didn’t go into the pool. Michael cleaned the pool each day.

Being a 3 and half star accommodation yes a little outdated but that’s ok it’s clean and comfortable.
