Excellent location, very friendly staff and good facilities. Not noisy. Comfy bed and lovely hot shower. Thought there could have been a full set of cutlery and a couple of more plates. Otherwise everything was very good. I will stay there again.

I made two separate bookings, so two chances to review - goody! Continuing on from my previous review, the rooms are beautifully clean and the housekeeper is the nicest, sweetest person you'll ever meet. She wished me a Merry Christmas before I set out for the day yesterday - the first person to greet me - and I chatted briefly with her before I checked out today and she wished me a safe trip home! Can I add the fridges in the rooms are larger than your typical 5 star hotel fridge, so good for families. Also, the pressure in the shower was so good I thought I'd be swept away! Thanks Team Monaco and have a great 2025!

Did not have breakast inclusive as we brought simple groceries & did take-out. Would have liked a set of dishes & cutlery tho for take-out eating in our room. Nice that kettle & toaster supplied for simple morning start. Ideal location for visiting family nearby in Ipswich area & sight-seeing. Inexpensive & charming Retro Motel well maintained ...loved the swimming pool & relaxing social area available! Easy access to airport for fly-out.

Would like to have had dinner plates & cutlery for take-out meals in our room. But would consider a suite with a kitchenette for longer stay next visit.

Price was great and the room, while dated, was very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at reception. A nice bonus is the absolutely awesome organic shop/cafe directly across the road.

Nothing, it was exactly as we expected.

Friendly staff and clean beds. Rooms are serviced daily and fresh towels are provided. We loved the fact that a big shopping center is just 5 mins walk away and there is a park just across the road.

Wifi coverage could have been better but the property has clearly specified that the coverage is available in the public areas. Did not impact us much though as mobile coverage was very good.

The Queen bed was a delight Both beds had crisp white clean sheets The gentlemen behind the desk in the office, is a very lovely man 🙂

The single bed absolutely terrible I believe the floor would of been more comfortable... Theres a lady who stays there she's a biggish lady with messy brown hair worn up and she kept harrassing us for alcohol... Neither of us drink so that was hugely uncomfortable... She also sat right outside our room and had a cigarette which then stunk out our room so bad we needed to go for a walk to escape the smell...

Location close to shops. Staff were great. Checked on our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed.

A little tight getting our large vehicle in the driveway but enough parking for everyone.

Kind and polite gentleman manager. The only reasonably priced motel in Ipswich. Hassle free check in and park outside my door. Powerful air con (which you need in Ipswich). Pool and all the potted plants in the garden behind the pool. Didn't use it, but the laundry (coin op), good for families.

The welcome was very friendly, and the rooms were so clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The Wi-Fi was great, and the room was great size. I forgot to ask for a microwave when I booked the room the but the receptionist at the counter heated up our meals then bought the food down to our room.

The cleaner knocking on our door before our 10 o'clock checkout. I know they probably had more guest coming in but felt like we were being rushed to vacate the room. This is only a minor detail, will inform receptionist next time that we will be gone by 10.
