Location convenience

Our room was in a bad position with no view except for a concrete wall.We were there for 3 days and they did not have all the rides operating due to needing service. This was a lie as they obviously did this to save on staff wages so the line up on the rides was too long as they used one ride on 1 day and then closed it for "servicing" and opened another 1 the next day.

Considering the Sea World Resort was built in 1988, it is a relatively modern resort so presumably has been renovated a number of times. We had a 2 x double bed unit which was relatively spacious with a good sized bathroom, larger than normal fridge, presumably to cater for the larger families, and lots of storage space for your copious possessions. We would recommend a lower floor unit as this will give you either access to the pool area (noisy) or the garden area (quiet), the latter allowing the kids to play on the grass and for you to have a quiet, leisurely drink under the trees. The pool area is extensive, catering for all ages, but is obviously crowded at peak periods. Plenty of restaurant choices. We had an evening meal in the poolside eatery. Average prices ($27-$35) with kids options. Easy access to Sea World and , if you have a 3 theme park option, the better park in the peak tourist periods. Plenty of parking. In summary, the good place to take the family for a short break.

Pity the monorail into the Sea World complex is no longer operative as this would provide both a good overview of the theme park layout and easier transit between park locations and the Resort. The DJ music in the poolside eatery was too loud, too repetitive and I suspect of minimal entertainment value to the diners and close by pool users. Whilst this issue is not specific to the Resort, access to Movie World as part of a 3-park pass was very disappointing. Whilst admittedly we went at what was probably the busiest period of the year (post-Xmas), a 120 minute on virtually every ride, makes the rides almost inaccessible. 6 hours of queuing on a hot summer day for about 12 minutes of ride (3 rides) would not be fun, even for the most patient of park attendees.

The pool was great especially being open until 9pm. The fact we could enter seaworld through the resort was fantastic and the staff were very pleasant and professional.

The lift wasn't working the whole time we were there so we had to take the stairs up and down, which was ok without the suitcases but was a bit of an inconvenience. The light show at 7pm at the pool also wasn't working. We rocked up every night and waited, but to no avail. My kids were disappointed, but I suppose these things happen.

Our stay was exceptional. Fantastic place for family with kids. We had the 3 worlds included in the package and it was such great value for money. We were impressed the service that was provided, the meet and greet with the characters, the many food and drink options and the onsite Gym and massage service. We didn't have to go out anywhere. I love the direct access to seaworld for as many times as you want. The rooms were just right for family of four. The rooms and facilities were clean.

I think the site could improve on the lights in the pool area as it is open til 9 but it's abit dark around the pool. Also it would be good if the outdoor food and bars open til 9 each day. The meet and greet characters could change everyday.

Facilities, I would like a microwave to reheat food, though I understand the resort doesn't have this, as they want you ordering more food, The buffet, both breakfast and dinner is over priced, The resort to proximity is amazing, there could be a few small improvements as mentioned above that would make it more affordable for a family of multiple members, there should be discounts when purchasing 7+ days of everyday breakfasts etc, Overall we enjoyed the stay on our Honeymoon

Buffet breakfast, Seafood Buffet Dinner and Christmas Lunch, Lagoon Pool and Lifeguards for safety, Seaworld access and a gift on Christmas day was a lovely gesture. Daily room servicing, fresh towels and pool towels are a wonderful service.

The rooms are quite small for a family of 4. We booked a water view double room for 2 adults + 2 children. Ensuites could use a refresh - fixtures and fittings are looking dated. Alcoholic drinks were not available for purchase until a set time in the afternoon on Christmas Day without purchasing a meal. Could make an ice machine readily available for guests to fill their ice buckets with for keeping their beverages cold in the room / poolside.

The resort is very well located next to Sea World and the beach. The option of getting park tickets is fantastic. The morning breakfast is wonderful and the kids had a blast having pancakes and several other dishes. Meet and Greet of characters in the morning is a lovely experience for the children. It has several restaurants onsite providing great variety of food. It has a lovely pool and water play area for the kids. For the price we paid, it was a great experience.

The rooms do leave things to be desired for. They are small and a bit dated. Having said that the room service ensured that they were always clean and tidy. Being Vegetarian, there were very few options in the hot food category during breakfast. There are way too many rooms and the breakfast lines can get singnificantly long, there was a day when we had to wait 20 minutes for getting a table.

Location and kids friendly environment.

Rooms look tired& old , carpet is dirty , definitely needs good pest control ( everyday we had visitor/roaches) , no sufficient power points, charging a phone is a hassle. For hotel/resort guestroom room power points next to bed is a must and compulsory amenity. Hotel is too busy and staff has taken guest for granted . So guest service is missing. I don’t blame them as the hotel/resort is definitely making profit and is a successful business. So I think they don’t mind or won’t hurt with my honest feedback.

We had an incredible family holiday at this hotel! The structure is fantastic and perfectly designed for families looking for fun and relaxation. The service was outstanding—I've never seen so many lifeguards who were so attentive and vigilant. It made me feel completely at ease letting the kids enjoy swimming safely. The dining options were excellent, with plenty of high-quality restaurants to choose from. The buffet was particularly convenient for us with the kids, offering delicious options and an easy, stress-free dining experience. A special shoutout to Carla at the buffet—her service was amazing and made our meals even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Most staff were friendly, especially Sharon (Zimbabwe) at the front desk was fantastic. Dora the explorer came into the breakfast buffet and made an awesome impression on all the children inside Sunday 5 January at 9:30am. All the kids including my daughter was so excited. She went from table to table. Great job Dora! A handful of staff, did not great first, or help when I was walking up the stairs with my heavy suitcase - walked past me. It is a resort and all of the staff should be happy, helpful and ready to engage - make the stay memorable....

You should consider a Kids club Bar open til later get more sun chairs to lie in around the pool. The hotel needs an upgrade - paint, maintenance, leaky aircon duct dripping water out of it. Not all the staff were helpful or ready to assist. It is a holiday resort, it should be a memorable stay.. not an average stage.
