The room was very clean and the place and room itself was very nice. The bed was very comfortable.

The staff member was so rude. Like all hotel/motels if your room is ready and clean early and you arrive 30 minutes to an hour early they often almost always let you check in. This lady said our room was ready when I rang at 1pm but, would not let me check in. I understand rules but, she was extremely rude about how she went about it. Not to mention when I did check in she continued to be rude and go on about how she would lose her job if she let people check in early. Apparently it’s not about whether the room is clean/ready or not. ??? Also, the shower ran out of hot water and my shower was cut short.

Loved staying here! The room was so clean, and decorated so nicely. The bed was super comfy, room was spacious and the bathroom was perfectly roomy. The pool area was super nice and plenty of seating, and loved that reception was in the little van with the bar. The owner was so lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like about the hotel itself. Just good to know that the hotel is quite secluded from everything so keep that in mind when planning your stay. Not a negative tho, was super nice to feel away from the hustle and bustle.

The bed was very comfortable, good amount of plugs for chargers, kettle, cups, mugs, spoons, free tea and coffee replaced every day. House keeping was good - probably didn't need towels to be replaced every day but it was nice! Nice water front location - good walking path.

Shower was a little difficult to get in and out of, door either got caught on the floor/bathmat or shower head. Not a lot of food options nearby (walkable distance), we mostly had to drive to Mooloolaba/Bli bli/silimar surrounding areas for most meals, all were very doable if you have a car though.

I was looking forward to seeing this motel, based on the photos and other guest reviews and I was not disappointed. It has been beautifully renovated. Although the rooms are on the smaller size, the attention to detail, decor and clever use of space make them seem larger. The tea/coffee set up and mini-bar are excellent. The beds are huge (super king?) and very comfortable, and the bed linen and towels are high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always on hand. We made time to enjoy the garden/pool area too. I liked the fact that the motel is at the quieter end of the road, away from the central strip but still very easy to get too by car or on the free bicycles provided.

A beautifully renovated small boutique hotel. Fresh, light and bright with a luxury coastal vibe. Beautiful bed linen and a very comfortable bed and pillows, we slept so well! A spacious bathroom with a large rain shower, complete with lovely Saya toiletries. Oh… and a well stocked mini bar! A large ceiling fan and air con for extra comfort. The hotel is on a busy road but the windows are double glazed and it’s very quiet at night. The pool was great and the outdoor lounge area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious cocktail from the cute on-site bar. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night.

Overall a nice room. Soundproofing was great! Staff were lovely. TV was great, allowing us to watch Netflix. Love the bikes as well (although we didn’t get to use them because of the weather). Bed was comfy.

Very few amenities. We needed to ask for bowls and spoons/forks/knives. All were disposable though (luckily biodegradable). There is no kitchenette so we needed to fill up the kettle in the bathroom, but the sink is not recessed so it was awkward to fill up. This also meant that there was nothing really to wash out our mugs with, and they weren’t washed by the property. 2 mugs, 2 small glasses and 1 large wine glass and one small one were provided. No flutes or 2 of each wine glass were provided which was a bit disappointing. The shower leaked making the floor wet. There was also no table/anywhere to eat in the room, maybe the idea is to eat out…in saying that, most places we stay at include a small table. Bit pricey as well given the above.

Nicely designed single-story building and grounds. Stylishly decorated room had a nice feel.

Expensive for a small room. Interior design style was at the expense of comfort. Very large floor standing mirror leaning against wall took up limited floor space. No provision for bags/cases - had to store on floor and access from them there. No clothes hangers in small robe - had to buy our own. Heavyweight doona too hot and inappropriate for climate. The one chair in the room was stylish but very low to floor - uncomfortable and difficult to climb out of. Only one switch for both bedside lamps and was located on wall opposite to bed.

Very clean, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff

No laundry facilities, no large mirror which could easily go behind the cupboard door. No iron. Small. On asking if we could use the pool facilities after check out, there was a lot of hesitation. This was the only thing that didn’t feel nice. We were 3 people, no one was in the pool, and we didn’t get the chance to use it prior, only staying one night (at peak rate). It’s actually the only facility available, so it would’ve been nice to jump in.

It’s quite a beautiful set up. Picture perfect for sure. The rooms were well maintained and the bed was very comfy. Big win that Netflix is already logged in and ready to go! We didn’t actually get to spend anytime actually enjoying our beautiful room and the lovely courtyard as we were in the area for a wedding that day.

There was no instruction on how to check out. We needed to check out earlier than 10AM. I attempted to contact the Managers around 7:30am with the instructions of ringing the bell to their residence however they did not answer. I then called the two numbers provided and they also weren’t answered. Maybe you could have a note in the handy guide in the room as to what to do for early checkouts. Also we did arrive 30 mins earlier than the 2pm checkin as we were in a rush to get to a wedding - and although they were kind enough to let us check in slightly early because our room was ready (which I was very appreciative of) - it was met with a little sass from the person who checked us in. Which left a lasting impression. However thankfully the good has outweighed these small downsides.

Beautiful accommodation, lovely location along the water and within throwing distance of a cute little weekend market. Unfortunately, we forgot to request good weather, so we didn’t get the opportunity to sit by the pool. But, the outdoor area was perfect for lounging around with a book or a glass of wine. The reception ‘van’ is genius.

Nothing! The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable and the place was whisper quiet. A great place for couples.
