The room was really well laid out - with that really great kitchen - with a sink so you can actually wash up properly AND fill the kettle without trying to use the bathroom. Really clean room, nice hit shower, clever decor like the headboard for the bed. Didnt feel like many of the pokey, narrow anonymous motel rooms I've been in. I have major food allergies so having such a beautiful kitchen was a special treat to do my food prep in. Very comfy bed, which I needed guven our packed program of 6 schools and an evening community event over 3days! The lovely helpful friendly managers PLUS gorgeous dog! made our stay so pleasant. I was able to finish my presentation using the motel wifi no worries. Easy walk to pub and country shops like the best IGA I've ever been in. Thank you Starline and Miles, it was a great trip.

Very welcoming staff, immaculate grounds and room, extremely comfortable bed,close to everything,will stay again if stopping in Miles again.

Room wasn't all that sound proof as on highway and we had a room close to it with a service station next door and trucks pulling up.There is also a small window with shutter blinds and can see into the room still with blind closed.Only minor things.

Everything you could ask for and more. Clean, cool and comfortable room. Easy and friendly check-in. Walking distance to a number of dinner options. Enjoyed a good night’s sleep and a yummy hot breakfast before hitting the road again. Bonus was that the Starline is pet-friendly and out past the swimming pool, there is a big fully-fenced yard where we played a huge game of fetch to get our dogs worn out and ready to happily sleep for the rest of the drive.

We like/are used to the sound of passing traffic so we’d want to stay in the same room again, but if you wanted a quieter sleep, ask for a room away from the front.

Very clean, great shower, and the bed was so comfortable. Conveniently located as well. Easy walking distance to the everything, and the owners/managers were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Breakfast was cooked perfectly - simple fare but delicious and satisfying. I was travelling with my cat and the room was good for her, too.

Any motel that has a dog who walks you to your room is a winner! Molly is such a sweet girl. Her parents aren’t bad either and made us feel very welcome. The room was more than we expected with the little kitchen area…made it easy for us to get prepared for the next days travel. It’s a very easy walk to the pub for dinner and the other shops. I highly recommend.

The welcome was friendly, and I felt they were genuinely interested in my day. The pool was large and clean, and I was provided with towels so I wouldn't have wet towels to pack the next day. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the curtains closed fully - no annoying light gap!

I can't find a dislike!

Location, affordability, comfy beds, pool was great but not disability friendly. Staff were very lovely. Let us know the best places to eat for dinner.

Room needed airing out, smelt a bit musty. Needed a teatowel to dry dishes. Couldn't get back in after going out for dinner, had trucks parked across the driveway who were visiting the BP next door, we had to wait for them to finish eating ro move their truck.

The owners were very friendly, beds were extremely comfortable the rooms were modern & clean. The best part being pet friendly & meeting the gorgeous Molly.

Being right next to a truck stop but that didn’t affect any of our stay once we were asleep we didn’t hear any of the truck noises.

Friendly staff on arrival with plenty of info on where to eat with our fur friend. Clean and easily accessible rooms. Nice hot shower with plenty of pressure. Comfy pillows.

Unfortunately the servo next door brought a few truck noises throughout the night.

From arrival we were greeted so welcomingly. The lovely lady seen we had dogs with us and asked if we would like to be swapped to a pet friendly room. I try to look for motels who are pet friendly so this was great for us. Upon arriving the dogs had done a 2 day drive from mount isa with very little breaks so their manners weren’t on point, they understandably just wanted out of the tray to stretch their legs. The lady was so lovely about it and showed us to a lovely back yard where they could run around, her dog even came to join in on the play which my dog’s loved. Our room was lovely and clean, I can’t fault it.

was just a bit too close to the road so could hear the road trains
