The beds in Sunset cottage were very comfortable, we both slept well. The kitchen was small but it had a good selection of utensils, cooking equipment, teapot and coffee pod machine. The home-made bread on arrival was lovely. The cottage was warm and cosy with a split system in the lounge and heaters in the bedrooms, and throw rugs for extra warmth in the lounge. I enjoyed the big deep bath for a relaxing soak! Loved the historic stonework of the cottage. The location was excellent, quiet and peaceful, and a scenic 15-20 minute drive to the fabulous Barossa and Eden Valley wineries.
Lights in lounge were very bright, I brought in a lamp from a bedroom to give a softer light there.

We stayed in the Dawn cottage which has been rebuilt wonderfully. Comfy and cozy beds and lounge area. Next time we will book the Sunset cottage which has a lovely deck with a view of the fields. Great winery and restaurant right across the road.
Bring bottled drinking water as we found that the tap water was undrinkable.

Beautiful cottage and location, very peaceful. Furnishings we're clean and comfortable, fireplace being lit to warm the room on arrival was a nice touch. Exactly what we we're looking for. The pre sent directions and suggestions of local places to eat at and visit was very helpful.
Nothing not to like.

Beautiful cottage with modern amenities. Ideally located to Mt Pleasant and Birdwood. Small kitchenette with coffee maker and kettle. Loaf of fresh bread was provided - very nice! Lovely views from small patio adjacent to cottage. Clean and well maintained.

We loved the peace and tranquility. The view and outlook was just lovely. Inside, we were kept cosy and warm in front of the fireplace. (We were welcomed by a roaring fire which the owners had already started for us. They left us to it and we had lots of privacy which we loved!) A well equipped kitchen and a lovely big bathroom were also a highlight!
Nothing. We loved it!

Simple but with everything required for a perfect hide from the city life. My wife and I loved.
Everything was amazing. If I had to say something, I would be better if the lodge was a firepit at the back. the weather was perfect to enjoy it with a good bottle of wine.

Stayed this weekend and thought the room was exceptional and just an hour or so out of the city. Tranquil setting that allowed us to relax and take in the atmosphere. The fresh bread and milk was a great touch Will certainly recommend to one and all My old job was spent in accommodation 180 nights per year around Australia and ASIA, and Ive not left a review before, but thought Id touch base and say well done

Lovely peaceful location in the country. kangaroos in the back paddock was a bonus. The cottage was well appointed and clean. lovely fresh loaf bread and eggs were waiting for us on arrival. Nice location to chill out and explore the local area.
BBQ ran out of gas after the first use.

We had a lovely 2 night stay and it was a great spot for exploring the Barossa. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun drinking our GnTs was a great end to the day.
A couple of soft throws to make sitting on the couch more comfortable would add to a spectacular experience.

The location was as expected. It was our second stay there. It was peacefull and a good base to visit other parts of the Barossa Valley.
Nothing could have been improved. It would be good if the council graded the road in.
