Wish they provided complimentary bottled water for multiple night stay

It was located in a great area. 10 minute walk to Salamanca markets, also to the Mona ferry (prepare to walk up hill to get back to the hotel though). The bed was comfortable for a double bed. The restaurant in the hotel was nice, the food was good too and you could order through your phone to pick up from them.

The rooms are quite small but we were out and about most of the time and only really slept in the room. This isn’t a bad thing but I’m assuming it’s the new norm. There is nothing in the ‘mini bar’ other than milk/coffee/tea, and hotels (not just this one) don’t seem to do room service anymore.

The location is great. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is just behind the hotel. The skybus bus stop is also a block away. The restaurant and bar is just downstairs. Pretty convenient. The parking is not on-site, but it is just behind the hotel. So, it is ok.

The noise. I heard the loud noise sounds like a truck moved over the room in the morning at 6:30 am for both night I stayed. At night, I also heard the noise like someone throwing glass bottles into a bin. The noise in the evening lasts for hours. I’m staying in the room at the end of the hallway. I’m not sure if it is because of the location of the room. I was busy with the tours I booked, so I didn’t have time to change the room. But, I’ll not recommend staying at the room at the end of the hallway.

Bed was very comfy. Pretty much everything I needed. Was able to store my luggage for a while, so I got to explore a bit more. Much appreciated! Very convenient location if you plan to get the Skybus. It's stop number 4 on Collins Street (just behind) Macquarie Street. There's another walkway up a slight hill, look for the limestone brick wall and it's walkway. Or just walk around the block, as Google Maps shows you.

The desk could have been wiped down a bit better. There was drops of the other person who'd stayed drink, food and hair on the desk. The shower head could maybe do with a replacement but this is such a minor thing.

The room was very clean, and modern bathroom with great shower. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great night sleep for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was fabulous - every choice you could want in a buffet. The location was within easy walking distance of Salamanca Markets, which is the reason we chose this hotel. The staff were very friendly on check-in and check out. Would highly recommend.

Car parking was confusing at first (we parked in the Village Cinemas car park behind the hotel), but that became clear once the staff explained it. And it's an easy walk through. It wasn't such a negative thing really.

I loved how close everything was to the hotel: shops, restaurants ect. The on site restaurant was amazing too, the food was amazing and service was exceptional. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and were there to help with whatever you needed. The other facilities on site such as pool, laundry and gym were very accessible and incredibly clean. The housekeeping staff provided an amazing service when doing their cleaning of rooms and restocking essentials such as towels, soap and toilet paper. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean at all times during the day.

I have no complaints about the hotel

No free streaming services. Everywhere we have stayed in Tasmania from Air bnb to hotels offer free streaming services. Not even abc iview or sbs was available and they cost nothing. The hotel needs to kerp ip to speed with what others are offering in the same proce range

All the staff were helpful and accommodating (reception, restaurant staff, cleaners) Rooms were clean and tidy Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious, catering for all needs The location was very centrally located, a short walk to Hobart city centre Amazing views over the harbour

It would have been helpful to have been given a map showing the central city and which roads were one-way streets, as well as brochures, showing popular tourist attractions.

Our stay at IBIS Hobart was long overdue for a review, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. A special mention goes to the reception attendant, Mr. Nils, who was exceptional and provided outstanding customer service. From the moment we checked in, Mr. Nils made us feel welcome and attended to all our needs with a friendly and professional attitude. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly enhanced our stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend IBIS Hobart to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Mr. Nils, and the entire IBIS team for making our stay memorable!

Breakfast was wonderful the staff very helpful and friendly Had to walk a while before you got to other places Swimming pool beautiful and clean enough towels to use and very clean Rooms very clean on arrival , bed very comfortable

Not close to any other restaurants and by the third night they had run out of a few things No bottled water in the rooms , even to purchase , not enough information when you arrive for things to do or avents that are going to be on , didn’t know it was as a public holiday only for Tassie, also had Chinese new year advent no one mentioned it. Had a o go out and source all info and didn’t really know where to go Room very tidy when arriving after that not even The bin got emptied.
