Great location tucked away off the main road but views across the city. Large space to move and very clean.

Nothing it was great.

The lady at the reception was lovely. She even pulled together a list of places to eat that are open on NY Day which we found very thoughtful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a massive shower with great water pressure. Parking was plentiful and secure. The property was lovely, peaceful and well maintained. The location was perfect. Very close to town.

A coffee table would have been handy. The handbasin in the bathroom is built in and water runs off onto the floor. Not a massive inconvenience but would have been nice not to have that issue. All four pillows were the same and it'd have been nice to have a selection of two high and two flat perhaps to cater to everyone's needs/preferences.

The place is really a hideaway, off the street and away from prying eyes. The drive up the slope is slightly challenging as it allows one car at a time in either up or down direction. The room is well furnished, with a smart TV that can be connected to Netflix, Disney Plus and YouTube among others. The bed is comfortable and equipped with four pillows. There is a fridge which can help keep some of our dairy products bought from nearby Coles. The bathroom has an overhead shower which is pretty alright but the drainage of the water seems a little slow at times, and may lead to “flooding” and overflowing of water at times. The hot/cold taps were a little hard to gauge and manage, mostly trial and error to get the right temperature. It would be nice to have a cosy pair of sandals for wearing within premises to avoid getting cold feet in the middle of the night while visiting the toilet.

A very clean, good-sized room (delux). The shower was large and had good running hot water. Good views, comfortable seating. A nice, large, comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was off the road and well placed for walking into the city.

Unfortunately, even though the accommodation was excellent, we will not be rebooking within the city area again due to the constant chiming of the town hall clock, which went off every hour, quarter and half hour. It's lovely sounding bells are pleasant to hear between the daytime hours, but not in the evening and throughout the night. We'll look for quieter accommodation outside Launceston and drive in for the day next time.

Location great for exploring Launceston on foot. Spacious room for two adults and a young toddler. Staff really quick to reply to messages (even I was slow to spot my booking.com app was misbehaving and not syncing the messages for me to receive them!). Loved the lock system too! A code on an electric keypad. So much easier than remembering to take keys out with you.

Only reasons for not giving this 10 out of 10. Shower temperature was very sensitive. A tiny fraction of a rotation of the cold tap turned it from baking hot to mild. Also didn’t hold a consistent temperature so it was sponge downs in the sink for our toddler. Cleanliness of the important things (ie beds and towels) was brilliant but overall we hit middle of school holidays and maybe rapid change overs so dust had built up on top of hairdryer bracket/light switches etc. making the place feel older and more dated than it was.

Huge room, beautifully furnished and very comfy bed. Fresh flowers on the table and lovely views to the garden. Location: It is easy to get to the west and east Tamar Valley to visit Beaconsfield, Beauty Point, Georgetown, platypus and seahorse centre. Cataract gorge almost within walking distance, a must visit!

Wooden cutlery and no spoons! Found that odd as it didn't fit with the luxurious Hampton feel of the room. Unavoidable noise from the visitors above as the building was not well soundproofed.

Everything was perfect, we had the 2 bedroom townhouse, kitchen was equipped with everything. Washing machine, no dryer, but we put clothes on the clothes horse infront of the heater and they dried overnight. Bed was comfy. Tv sound wasn't great, but hey that's nothing when you're on holidays. The keyless system on the front door is great. No worrying about losing the key ! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at hideaway on george and Launceston. Thankyou

Shower was hard to regulate, but we got used to it.

Great location in the centre of the city. Close to coffee shops, restaurants and takeaways. Parking was easy and a comfort to know that it was off the street. The room was cosy and comfortable. Nice views of the city out the windows. The room was warm - stayed on a freezing night and couldn't tell. Complementary water and toiletries were a nice touch. The buildings were quite charming. Felt secure. Check in was easy, despite being after hours. Would recommend as a base for work or travel - a comfortable place to come back to.

Cosy place to stay. Handy location in the middle of the city. Was offered extra cutlery and plates as I was staying for a while, which was extremely handy. Very warm and quiet. The night views of Launceston were lovely out the windows. The bed was extremely comfortable. Had most things you'd need for a night away.

The inside of the fridge was a bit wet, which made storing some food a bit tricky. The shower head needed a bit of tightening. But otherwise, can't fault.

Would have been nice to have a sink to wash dishes in, fill up the kettle, rinse out dishes, fill up water bottles Was told we would get complimentary water daily, only got it 2/4 days due to there being no sink Also no recycling bin. Sign says “if towels are in shower floor” they will wash them, but if not they won’t for water saving reasons. We didn’t put them on the shower floor, yet they were washed every day. Shower could have been cleaner The dip in the bed between the two singles pushed together to make a larger bed was also uncomfortable
