Annie made my stay truly unforgettable! From the moment I booked, she went above and beyond by providing helpful details, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience even before I arrived. The room itself was absolutely lovely, with all the amenities I could need, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is fantastic – close to IGA and a servo, which was super convenient. Annie’s friendly and thoughtful approach added such a personal touch to the stay. I truly rate the experience as five star plus and only wish that we had more time to stay longer or perhaps that Aloft Boutique Accommodation was available in every city that we travelled. I was surprised how large and roomy it was, great design with both comfort and practicality evident in the layout. The amenities were exceptional with facilities including a washing machine and dryer... outstanding! Annie met us at the car, provide a quick tour of the accommodation and then permitted us our privacy without further ado. An excellent host and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.

Two items only: 1. I wish that I had not sustained a leg injury earlier that morning at Cradle Mountain. 2. I wish we had more time to stay another one, two, three or more nights.

It was nice and comfy. the location was good, very close to IGA and city center. it's also very easy to get around to other places outside Strahan. Annie was caring and attentive. She checked with me a couple days before we arrived to ensure things were alright. Unfortunately for some reasons I didn't get to say hi and bye to her in person. I left messages to thank her right after we checked out but never heard from her again. so I guess, and I hope, our check-out was okay and didn't bring her much trouble.

I was very shocked to find that the electric kettle looked "rusty" at the bottom inside when I arrived. I couldn't believe it myself because everything was neat and tidy. Then I checked it more closely and realized that it had been burned (it looked like somebody used it to boil milk and burn it) and the brown layer was actually soft but not really rust. so I carefully rubbed it off and cleaned the whole kettle myself. it was a mistake that I didn't take photos of it and told Annie about it. it was late already (after office hours) and we were already very tired after a long day of driving. All I wanted was a cup of tea to relax... anyway, the kettle was all clean and safe for use after I washed it.

Quiet, clean and comfortable, very roomy, open plan, well equipped, bed is large and comfortable, power points at bedhead including USB outlets in bedside table! kitchen had a dishwasher, big fridge, good cooktop, large living room, good smart tv, AC effective, dining table, has top loading washing machine, clothes dryer, shower mixer with two shower heads, good water volume and pressure, limited sink counter space, but small glass wall counter & washing machine top provided extra space, suitcase bench and extra bedside bench including shoe rack provide lots of area for your suitcases. Everything very well thought out and well provided for. Outside veranda overlooking the yard. All in all a great place for travellers.

I'm trying hard to find a fault...maybe a front loader washing/dryer machine? So really nothing we didn't like.

We had the Loft Studio - Lovely little B&B. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The shower was great and in a good location within Strachan but see comments below on 'view'.

Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable but I do realise everyone has different requirements for this. Just found it a bit lumpy. The balcony in the photo appeared much nicer than reality, looking over a main(ish) road but was still a nice addition. Not sure I'd pay any extra for the Loft room if it was more expensive (don't think it was when we stayed)...and it does say "harbour views" which I don't really think is a fair description....

The apartment was cozy, and really well done up! All facilities were provided. Loved the attention to detail. Mini kitchenette, washing machine, dryer, TV, balcony, sofas etc. We couldn't meet Annie - who owns/manages the property - since she was unwell, but we didn't once feel that anything was missing, or that we needed assistance. (She was easy to reach on booking.com chat though - and even graciously let us have one of the wines in the mini bar on the house!) The town is really small so everything was nearby.

I booked Studio 1 and was warmly welcomed by Annie, a wonderful host who made our stay feel like home. The cozy ambiance and exceptionally comfortable bed were highlights. The added bonus of a sofa and smart tv for streaming and a well-stocked mini bar with high-quality items was a delightful surprise. The toilet was also amazing with heated lamps, washer and dryer. Annie’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the apartment, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything here are good quality items that are normally bought for your own house,and not in a motel. This was a pleasant surprise as it made us feel like this was our apartment. The motel’s location near the town and cruise terminals, and even the IGA next door provided convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for its exceptional comfort, thoughtful amenities, and unbeatable hospitality. Staying here was a memorable experience that I’d gladly repeat.

Everything was amazing

Annie and Peter provided everything we were looking for. Evidence of their generosity was everywhere from provision of washing machine/dryer; kitchen facilities; cleanliness; the most comfortable bed with fabulous sheeting; a lovely balcony; and access to TV and lounge area and welcome chocolates. We had the best night’s sleep. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Great after a big day out on the Gordon River and an evening at The Ship that Never Was!!! Don’t miss any of it. IGA a short walk down the road.

My husband and I loved our three nights' stay at Annie and Peter's place, which was quiet and situated in a great location just 10 minutes walk from Strahan CBD and a few minutes from the IGA. The accommodation was a studio, but it was large, exceptionally clean, well laid out, and thoughtfully equipped. Annie was a lovely host, happy to share local knowledge, and very accommodating. We were lucky to get the loft apartment above the house, which was superb. Everything one could wish for had been provided for a very comfortable stay. The apartment was roomy with tasteful decor and there was a small balcony for summer sitting. The double bed and pillows were so comfy. There was a folder of helpful information about the town and the loft and a couple of interesting books. The owner, Annie, was delightful and very friendly.
