All people concerned with running this motel/caravan park were very helpful and nice to chat with, I have noticed quite a few changes to the place over the years since I was last there which is enhancing the place,

Maybe not having a clock radio on a bedside table - I know most people have mobile phones nowadays which I do also, but they just don't wake me up at all, other than that, nothing

Check in with Dirk was a breeze. Quick and hassle free. Our second time staying at Golden Country Motel and Caravan Park, wouldn't hesitate t stay again. Clean, comfy and close to town centre. Golf course across the road.

Overall very good accommodation. not much to not like.

Bed was equal to our bed at home, however it was difficult to set up CPAP machine, not the easiest at best of times this was awkward as it was on floor, partner had better side for getting in and out of frequent toilet visits during night. Property managers said they had a disabled accommodation which would have helped with toilet. In past times when using motels they generally have bedside tables, we didn't - it was pointless saying they had toaster and kettle as initially there were no cups or plates. All in all even with Scotch Collie Clancy we managed.

Access to off lead area was bit of a walk, TV control batteries were on last legs as we had to ensure batteries were making proper contact otherwise no entertainment radio of TV.

Convenience and location. Very helpful reception.

I kept hitting my head on the plank holding the reading lights above the bed. Not easy to read in bed as ceiling lights very bright ( but fine if not reading) and bedside lights mounted too low.

We stayed to be near our father who was quite ill at the time. We had to extend our stay and Terri and the team were amazing. They were quite full, but moved things around for us that we could stay longer without the disruption of moving to another place. Everyone was friendly and helpful during this stressful period for us and we really appreciated everything they did for us

The staff were very helpful and the room was really clean also access to the golf course across the road was very handy

Parking was a little tight but right in front of the room which was great

Bed was so comfortable 💕💕💕💕 Love the little extras ie mugs with motel names The not all white linen The jumping pillow

Bed was too high for me fell out 3 times 😢😢😢 Not there fault that Im only 150cm

Proprietors were welcoming and lovely. They also have the most adorable dog who loves to get to know you but LOVES a back rub more 😍 .... thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location, close to family that moved to Maryborough but also close enough to look around the lovely place of Maryborough. Looking forward to returning again the next few weeks for a longer visit

Luxury cabin had everything. Nice touches.

Arrived in 35 plus degrees and the cabin felt double that. Took a bit to cool down . Usually places would put the air-conditioning on for you prior to you arriving
