Second time staying at the Olsen. Great location, short walk to everything you need. Shower was lovely. Room was spacious. Staff were great, asked us how our stay was which is often not asked any more

I didn’t like that in an apartment style room the fridge was full of mini bar items. One shelf I can understand but not the whole fridge I think the rooms are needing a little TLC, curtains were coming off the wall.

The location in South Yarra was great. It was just around the corner from the station and close to the tram stop. There were lots of great restaurants nearby including Woolworths for convenience. The rooms had a kitchen which was basic but enough for us to have breakfast or heat up left over food. The room was a great size and the shower was strong. The sun deck and pool were a nice option. The price for our new year stay could not be beaten. It was wonderful to have a window to air out the apartment and keep it cool without needing to use the air-conditioning.

While my pillow was fine my partner's pillow was lumpy. It was also a little bit noisy, as the air-conditioning unit ticked and the rooms were not sound proofed as people walked to and from the lifts. Additionally, my white eye mask got lost (possibly in the changing of our bed sheet) and I was unable to find it.

Lovely room with good layout, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were upbeat and professional. Free lolly bar at reception was a fun touch and we appreciated the unlimited filtered iced water too. Great spot, can't fault the location.

The hotel car park was full which was a little frustrating on a hot day but there's another (cheaper) one a few doors further along if you get stuck. Best to book ahead if you do need a car spot on site.

The staff are amazing, no matter what you need they're very willing to help and make your stay as easy as possible. You also don't wait long to get assistance either.

There was only one minor issue that was beyond anyone's control, the aircon on our floor wasn't working and we moved rooms twice. But the room was upgraded and the staff were again, so very apologetic and kind about it all.

Love the pool and the location

Only small one however being unable to use the toilet at the pool was such a hassle. Our cards didn’t work into the conference bit that has the toilet. So I took the lift to M level where I was told there was a toilet. I have never seen a more disgusting area in a hotel. There was even graffiti in the toilets. Maybe I wasn’t meant to be there but I felt so sorry for staff that had to use it. It was absolutely disgusting and dirty.

Great location opposite the Como Centre on Chapel St. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the beds were very comfy! Our view was of Chapel St which was nice, except there was traffic noise at night.

We didn't have breakfast included with our room, so breakfast was from the menu and quite pricey. Parking at the hotel is $40 a night. Park opposite in the Como centre for $15 flat rate on weekends! No complimentry water in the room. It's $5 a bottle. Bring your own.

I really liked that there was secure on-site parking available. Most places in the city park your car off-site and will bring it to you when needed but its so much better when you can just go to the basement if you left something in your car that you need. The bed was also to die for and was like sleeping on clouds

The cost breakdown was a little confusing. On Booking.com the price quoted was one price, then when I checked in I presented my AMEX and was deducted for the 2 nights accommodation as well as the 2 nights parking or so I thought, as well as a $100 deposit which I understand is standard practice. Then upon checkout I needed to present my AMEX again, and the parking hadn't been charged at check-in just in case I decided to not park there after I had checked in. It was all very confusing and I'm waiting to check my AMEX statement to even see if I've been overcharged

Great property in a great location. The room was a very clean and very quite. Breakfast was great. We were there for one night so took the smallest cheapest room. (The small part was the bathroom, room was normal hotel size)

There was no parking spaces left at the the hotel- even though they say there is no need to reserve on booking.com. It should say they do not take reservations for parking. First in first served. We parked at the Como across the street $15.50 for the night :)
