Everything was great, especially the lady on reception when I checked in. She was very helpful
Perhaps the noise level between rooms. My neighbour decided to run a bath very early on Sunday morning and it sounded like the bath was actually being run in my room

The staff are great! Very professional at concierge albeit somewhat formal (which is expected). I found wait staff, chefs, housekeeping were all exceptional and very willing to help - hands down the best place I’ve been to in this respect! The breakfast is PHENOMENAL. Caters for a broad range of tastes and dietary requirements! (I especially loved being able to have veggies, dumplings and congee as well as the usual hot breakfast items)….. I frequently saw staff cleaning high touch surfaces such as lift buttons, doors etc. it’s the first place I’ve seen that’s actually continued to overtly demonstrate commitment to enhanced hygiene. Some of the rooms are older - but they are SPOTLESS.
The only thing I’d say is there are renovation/construction areas - the point is, it’s part of maintaining and upgrading the hotel! If you’re after a place to sleep during the daytime (which some of my travel does involve) it might not be suited to you. One other thing to watch - sometimes you won’t be able to swipe into your room if you’re approaching checkout time at 11am (I also need to take better note of my time)

Still has the Hyatt look and feel. Rooms are a good size and well appointed. The room on this stay had a walk-in shower (which I requested). Housekeeping team were good. Water and tea replenished daily. Great location. Really good IGA Supermarket close by.
The price is a high for what you get. Limited on-site food and beverage service. Some facilities seem "moth-balled". Bar near reception is closed, the lounge on levels 8 and 9 is not operational, the lift takes you to the "Plaza" level but the doors are locked, the escalators to the Plaza level from reception are not operational, pool area looks neglected. "Grubs" onsite restaurant (if you can call it that) has very limited options and opening hours.

The bed was particularly comfortable Everything else was excellent The view of the Swan River was stunning
We were on extreme time constraints and arrived 1.40pm so that we'd be checked in by at least 2pm Instead we were 5th in the queue and didn't get checked in until 2.30 This was particularly nerve racking I mentioned this to the Receptionist and all I got was excuses Even though there were 2 on Reception, one of them was held up with a Customer up until we reached the counter We found it very difficult finding entry at approximate 11pm, there wasn't sufficient signage on the main Entrance at St George Tce, so we had to walk to find where to enter, not condusive when tired and wearing heals

Beautiful hotel. Got there early and room was ready. Very comfortable bed and 2 queen beds in my room. Had everything I needed. Didn’t get to use the huge pool but stay wasn’t long enough. Got a great deal on this hotel. Buses are directly outside for travelling to city. Free red bus 1 block away. The grand foyer is incredible. Plenty of space. Cold water for you on entry. This used to be the Grand Hyatt Regency. Cafe downstairs very handy and the best coffee and orange muffin were to die for.
The view from my room was awful. No view of city or river which I had requested. There are works going on down on ground floor outside.

I really enjoyed the location, although it seems not many people recognize the place by its current name—mentioning that it used to be a Hyatt definitely helps. The value for money was excellent, with a decent room and the added perk of a late check-out, giving me extra time to pack comfortably. The staff were also fantastic.
Although it's advertised as a five-star hotel, the service doesn’t quite match that rating. There was no one to greet us or assist with the big luggage, and there seemed to be less staff and limited facilities- no in-house food or restaurant. The lift card was unreliable, working only intermittently, and while the property is large, it often felt empty.

Our stay was comfortable. The room is nice, we loved the pool and the lobby is welcoming. We also loved that there is a really nice IGA with fresh food and cafes and other food options just next door to the hotel. We also loved the viewing spot for the fireworks at the 8th floor.
There was no housekeeping on holiday. They were short staffed understandably. We had to take the rubbish outside of the room and it was there for 2 days. We had to go down to reception to pick up fresh towels. Also, it’s a 20-30 minute walk to elizabeth quay and perth city centre. We are fine with walking but with 38degree weather and if with kids, plan your day ahead to do the walking towards the evening so it’s cooler or get an uber.

The beautiful elephant waterfall statue in the main entrance and the comfortable seating arrangements around it made for a lovely welcome. The staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Nothing was too much bother. The heated pool was very nice to relax in after our amazing all-day Christmas shopping experience at Karryinup Waters. Also, it was lovely for taking a dip before we left on Sunday morning. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. PS: A few extra t.bags for the non coffee drinkers who like normal, not flavoured tea would be great... but honestly, that's nothing major.
It was a shame the bar was not open.

They were very acomidating when i asked if it was possible to have an early check in, i understood that being the school holidays it might not be possible but they were amazing and had our room ready for us! The rooms were lovely and filled with natural light, the bed was comfy and the pillows fluffy. You can enterain yourself with the gym or pool while you are relaxing at the hotel. The hotel holds an air of class and finery with out you being charged a crazy amount for a nights stay. This is the second time we have stayed here and the experince was as lovely as the first time.
Our room didnt have any cups/mugs so we weren't able to have any complimentary tea or coffee that were in our room. Also our room had 2 hand towels but no flannels to wash our selves with. The shower head could have done with a good scrub as there was a huge calcium build up on the shower head and it isnt a huge issue, but it could be an off put for some people considering your paying 215 for a room and then 200 for bond.

The hotel was exceptional! Very clean and tidy, staff were inviting and made sure we were comfortable. There is a supermarket, bottleo and food shops within metres of the hotel. Stunning views from our room, the Pool area was amazing! Clean and caters to everyone's needs I would definitely be back here with my family and also recommend this hotel to families, couples, or singles, you will be impressed
Transition from carpark to hotel lobby elevator, then rooms, not a big hassle or deal but we never knew this until we were in the carpark elevator and a staff member informed us on how to get to and from
