The restaurant was a complete surprise and our meal was delicious. The outdoor patio was like a quiet oasis with all the flowers surrounding the tables. The service was excellent and the hotel staff were super gracious and friendly. We ate breakfast inside the restaurant, which was large and clean. The food was excellent with made to order eggs any way you like them and the variety and freshness of all other foods was superb.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms and in the summer months a bigger fan would have made the room temperature more comfortable.

Everything ( the staff very friendly and accommodating and service with a smile and professionalism, the food in the restaurant was absolutely delish, comfortable sitting area in the garden area during lunch and dinner). As I was had an extremely early flight , a breakfast was set with everything so I could take it with me). I don’t know of any hotel that would do this. 😋👍👍😃

Minor issue with the temperature in room because no air conditioning but the fan provided was good and did the job.

The hotel is good for travellers that catch flights after a brief stay. Don’t waste time catching the bus/s , yes just get a taxi or uber/ bolt. The hotel is run by a family that the bestest part. It feels nice to see them all synchronized. The room is clean and comfortable with nice clean linen.

The toilet and the Shower are separated. Feels odd Also, I’m not a big supporter of toilet paper. A lot of baby trees are killed and crushed to make soft wood pulp and then make toilet paper. It’s environmentally very very bad to cut trees that are very important for everyone’s survival. Hence as an option kindly install a toilet water spray hose. Also using water keeps our private parts more clean🙏🏼👍🏼

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good, breakfast was also excellent. There are two areas of bedroom in the hotel, one area the room are relatively small but good in the other area the rooms are much bigger and the restroom is also separate from the bathroom, so I would recommend to ask for these room. We took the hotel just for the night and in the morning left to the airport with was 20 minuets away by car, so for us the location was very good. Highly recommend the place

There are doing some work at the hotel just outside the room with the balconies, we left early so it did not bother us, but if someone wanted to sleep after 7:00 - 7:30 and there room is facing the working area it would be a problem for them/

Though our rooms were small in this historic property, they were clean and comfortable. This hotel had a secure bicycle storage area with power--the best that we encountered on this tour. The breakfast was fine, as expected in Austrian hotels. Though the rooms weren't air conditioned, they did have nice tower fans in both rooms. The location was amazing. We had great views of the monastery and the ancient streets below.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and peaceful, although farther away from the airport than we realized. The restaurant dinner was amazing and affordable. The included breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful and elegant.

Had a hard time finding an Uber to take us back to the airport because if was too far out of the main flow of traffic. The owner, however, was able to get a taxi for us.

The staff fulfilled our every request including putting a tea kettle and two cups in our room. The dinner in their dining room was excellent and the wait staff very professional. The staff also prepared a nice breakfast for our early departure and it was nicely presented when we came downstairs at 5:45am. Finally, it was an easy drive to the Vienna airport rental car return the next morning.

- Clean, comfortable and safe - The front desk staff is nice and friendly - I loved the interior design so much! It has traditional vibes which is not found in modern hotel

- No direct public transportation to and from the airport. However, easily accessible by Taxi and Uber (~15 min drive)

The ambience of the restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served exceeded our expectations. It is an elegant restaurant. The breakfast was very good. We ate here dinner as well and it was a wonderful culinary experience. Their wine list is superb. The staff is extremely helpful and polite.

The rooms are a little dated but very clean.

The staff was very responsive to our requirements for vegetarian food. They were very nice and responsive in general.

Some more imagination in providing us vegetarian food would have been good. Basically we were presented with a small subset of items from the menu that did not have meat. Unfortunately we got tired of cream/cheese based recipes and there were no other options. We had to upgrade our rooms to get a view of the glacier from our rooms. We had clearly mentioned this requirement at the time of booking. They said they would try their best. At checkin we realized that the view is just not available with our room type and an upgrade was required. We did upgrade and got what we wanted.
