The location was excellent being on a frequent tram route (and with a stop right outside) between the city centre and the railway station. Reception staff were friendly and spoke excellent English and the room, though not large, was well-furnished and comfortable. Having minor mobility problems, I also welcomed the availability of a lift. Overall the hotel gave the impression of being a bit 'old fashioned' in the pleasant sense of the phrase - unpretentious but friendly and with personable service rather than the 'one-size-fits-all' clinical 'performance' of so many modern hotels.

The duvet on the bed was much too heavy for this time of year and made sleeping uncomfortable.

Large quiet room with a large comfortable bed. I'd booked a single so was expecting something much smaller (may have been upgraded). Lovely shower. Close to train station and a park. No extra charge for a dog, and clearly stated in pre booking information. Easy walk into town (Graz is lovely) and on the same road as an excellent vegan restaurant. Having a little fridge was handy (could have done without its minibar contents but others like that). Easy train ride up to Mixnitz for excellent hiking/cycling. Hotel offers free bikes which if I had stayed longer I would have used. Great WiFi.

The Hotel is located on the main street into the town centre from Graz Hbf, so is easy to locate. A tram stop is just outside the front entrance, so travel by this method is easy if you wish to avoid the 5-10 minute walk into town. If there is no electric kettle in the room, you may request one from reception. Beware that reception closes at 9:00pm. Tea and coffee is supplied, but breakfast is not included. There is a mini-bar with the usual stuff. The hot water, is very hot, so beware. Daily room service was excellent, the best I can recall.

Can't think of anything, except it would have been nice to have breakfast included.

Location is quite good if you are traveling via train, just between the station & city center on the main street with lots of public transportation. Arrived after 16.00 so no receptionist was there for check in but got clear instructions to get the key cards from the lockbox in the entrance. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

We booked 2 single rooms but rooms arrangement was different. One of the rooms had the toilet separate from the sink/bathtub and rest of the room was very small, especially around the head of the bed (lots of light switches next to the head of the bed, making it challenging to get comfortable). Also for the price of the breakfast I would expect more variety especially in the pastry section. Lastly, a pile of clothes was left in the closet by the previous guest, so i had to move them to the reception area and send a message to inform the hotel, to which I got no response.

Location (it is perfect, between the railway station/bus station and the city centre). Restaurants, shops near. The historical center a "bigger step". Good public transport in the street (for expamle direct tram to the Eggenberg Palace). Helpful, friendly and nice staff. Big and silent room (room nr. 202, window to the "back stage", not to the main street). Extremely comfortable king size bed. Heating was okay. We liked this accommodation.

It would be great to see a carpet on the floor, it would give a warmer feeling to the room instead of "naked" wooden parquet floor. It would be nice also to have a kettle in the room (after all, this is a four-star hotel).

Location is great. I booked a room for 3 and the room is very spacious and comfortable even for 3 adults. Room also has 2 wash basins which we are very happy with. The reception staffs were very warm and smiling.

Breakfast could be improved especially given the $$ price of it. We had to ask for a change in pillow as there was a smell on one of the pillow but the staff changed it for us immediately. The toilet is spacious but the shower area is small.

I like to return to stay at this place. The check-in process was extremely fast. The room was spacious and cosy and I really appreciate the coffee provided in the room.

It's great having coffee provided in the room; however, the provided 3-in-1 sweetened mix isn't ideal for plain-black coffee drinkers. :) Also, there was some persistent noise in the morning coming from the outside - like someone was banging some tool on the metal balcony railings.

I stayed there for the third time. I like the location, the breakfast and how helpful and friendly the staff is!

This might be of course not so easy to change but the walls of the rooms are very thin. You can hear what the guest in the next room is saying through the walls.

Bathroom could use a bit detailing... it looked like it is not finished yet. No cabinet, no curtain or glass door on shower,no place to put toilettries. A bit empty. But clean and okay. Also,would expect toillettries from a 4* hotel.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the main station and the city centre. Considering its location it was relatively quiet (some rooms don't face onto a road). Our room was a reasonable size with a pleasant bathroom, and basic toiletries (soap for washbasin and shower) were provided. The bed was clean and comfortable. Wi-fi was good. We were able to check in slightly early, and leave our luggage after we'd checked out. We'd quite happily stay there again. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so we can't comment on that.
