Very nice hotel and we had a large room that had a small balcony overlooking the vines. Friendly staff that gave us some information on where to hike to. Restaurant within walking distance. Great breakfast with made to order eggs. An easy commute to get back to the Vienna airport. Took about 40 minutes to get to our rental car location.

Compared to southern Styria, this particular vineyard area wasn't as pretty as other parts of Austria. It was flat and instead of being lush and green, it was quite dry. Not that this is a reflection on the hotel, but just not my favorite area in Austria.

Far from urban noise and overcrowded streets this place is just amazing. I have reached the hotel ours before check-in time and they prepared one room on spot. (Much appreciated) Sparkling clean, cozy, surrounded by nature with a very nice staff and nice breakfast the location exceeded my expectations.

Nothing- but just to add something here, time to time you can hear neigbour rooms doors- pitty for that silent location where the only other noise heard ... were the birds outside.

Well situated to the tiny village centre, lots of free parking opposite the hotel. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and had a lovely view of the vineyard next door. Good breakfast and friendly hosts/family run.

None of the nearby Buschenschanke were open during our stay. Check first

We loved the room. The view was on the lake and room was specious. We love the friendly atmosphere and the good services.. the breakfast was rich. The location was very good specially for those who have cars to drive every day to different locations

This hotel sets really high service standards. Hotel team is very supportive to all the requests and will help you to arrange any available activity or experience. If you would like to focus on relaxing, hiking and drinking wine, this hotel will to everything so you would get your best emotions. Just to mention breakfast is good and you will have it with beautiful view.

The hotel is excellent, the staff is super nice and helpful, the place is spotless, breakfast is amazing, the view of the vineyards and the hills is beautiful and there is plenty of free accessible parking.

The property was amazing. Peaceful and relaxing environment. The room was gorgeous and clean. Breakfast was great and they offer many different things to eat. The staff was nice and understanding. A place you will want to visit again.

It's overall very nice! Well-decorated, clean hotel in a beautiful area. The view from the balcony is very pretty, it's cozy to sit on the balcony tasting some local wine. Breakfast has a lot of variaties, all taste very good. Hotel staffs are very friendly, I feel welcomed :)

The holder of the shower head in my bathroom was defect, you need to use one hand to hold it throughout the shower, which is troublesome. The door of the shower cabin cannot be sealed, which makes half of the entire bathroom floor wet...

It is a bit expensive

The perfect hotel! Staff gracious and accommodating. Very spacious well-appointed room with excellent bathroom. Excellent breakfast for a 4*. Perfect location in downtown Gumpoldskirchen, mountain view and at start of natural trail. Very good quality wine in the minibar. Free bike rental. Will happily return!

No restaurant in hotel, though plenty of good choices within 5 mins walk. No reception after 8pm though you can call them—these are not really issues.
