We stopped over for a couple of nights and were given an extremely warm welcome by the host, George. The hotel has a strong family feel and the layout of the reception space means it’s easy to strike up conversations with fellow travellers or just enjoy a quiet evening drink. Our room was excellent - whilst the hotel’s charm lies in its traditional style and strong sense of history our room was one of a few that have recently been refurbished. The bathroom was modern with a huge walk-in shower and the bedroom was fresh and new whilst retaining traditional features. Breakfast was generous with a variety of food to suit all, both hot and cold dishes. Transport links to Innsbruck were good - a 5-minute walk to the train station where there was also a number of bus stops for various routes. The hotel itself is a fascinating place; there’s a functional schnapps cellar and lots of features that speak of the building’s history.
The property is in a small village and is a little isolated - I knew this when I booked. The hotel does not serve an evening meal and choices to eat elsewhere were quite limited unless you’re happy to drive. There is a larger town with modern shops, bars and entertainment facilities just a few minutes down the main road, I wish we’d known about it earlier as it would have influenced our dinner choices.

All of the staff were very accommodating, kind and really made sure I enjoyed my stay. They offered local places to eat and taxi services even going above and beyond to help me find the cheapest quote for a taxi back to the airport on my last day as the prices went up due to the ski season! The breakfast was perfect as I was here for a work trip and needed something quick, easy but filling. My room was clean and comfortable I can't fault it. If ever I return to Austria, I will be staying here again!

Really friendly! We have seldom been welcomed with so much warmth and hospitality. We were happy from the first hello. The owner / proprietor switched between German, perfect English and Italian flawlessly. We were impressed! He also offered a great restaurant recommendation and was able to provide us with an additional pillow. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We aren't British but were impressed by the scrambled eggs, bacon and baked beans. It also featured a make your own juice machine with carrots and apples and some of the biggest croissants we have ever seen.

We booked a mobile home and it was the best decision made tbh amazing place, gorgeous view. We were lucky not to have any neighbors, so it was really secluded and peaceful! Everything you need for a comfortable stay is In the house ( except of blankets - it is really cosy on the terrass in the evening, but cold :D) We had two days of breakfast, the second one was much reacher choice, probably more people in the hotel) Really enjoyed everything about the place. 10/10

Nice, old style hotel close to motorway so you can enjoy visiting Tirol and beyond. Very good breakfast that can be had indoors or outside (if weather's good). The car park has two EV chargers if you need to charge your electric vehicle. Very friendly staff that will guide you where to have dinner or what to see in the area.
Room could have been more spacious for two people.

Family run hotel - we have been greeted by super helpful owner who explained everything and gave us good tips. The building itself it's not lacking character - the old type of castle with squeaky wooden floor and fire place in hall - even if some parts are not perfect it's rather charming. Good size bedrooms. In bathroom good quality of washing gels. Even if it's a good size building the atmosphere was very cosy and welcome. Bar downstairs it's serving a good selection of beers. For breakfast good selection but the best was juice machine - you could get a fresh carrot and apple juice - just loved it. And by doing it wake up yourself and everyone due to noise doing it 😂! Parking outside. 20 min drive to Innsbruck and 10 min to Swarovski museum, hotel next to main road with easy access.
Window curtain not blocking fully outside lights from the road. Showers cabins are a bit outdated - not anything wrong with this but impacting esthetics.

The hotel is next to the road so is very convenient if you are doing a road trip to Austria which was our case. We decided to stay here instead of Innsbruck after visiting the Swarovski museum and it was really convenient.
A couple of things we did not like was that the restaurant was not working so we had to go somewhere else for dinner, and the rooms seem a little bit outdated. Nevertheless do not let that discourage you from staying, its a warm and clean room with convenient access to Innsbruck without all the fuss of being in the city.

I expected a simple B&B hotel and we were confronted with an amazing ancient construction, very well maintained. The rooms seemed to be renewed recently. It was a mix of old and new. The facade is beautiful, the alps in the background makes it even more beautiful! The host/staff is very kind. Nothing to complain!

The owner is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean, with a beautiful view, and they are cleaned daily. The owner also makes delicious drinks. The common area is very cozy and perfect for spending time together. The breakfast is delicious.

The host George was very welcoming and explained everything. He told us about the very good restaurant opposite where we had a delicious lunch the next day which was reasonably priced. We arrived about 6pm and had a drink before unloading. We asked about the food van opposite the car park. George said they served the best roast chicken. We got there at 7.30 not realising they were closing. They had just prepared a whole roast chicken with spices which she gave us for 5 euros. We sat in our to eat the best roast chicken we have ever had. Breakfast was very good.
Most hotels only serve breakfast until 9.30. When you are on holiday it is more relaxing if it is served later. At least 10 but preferably 10.30.
