Facility and staff were absolutely tops

The food needs major improvement. The first two days the crossaints were terrible. The meat cuts were not the best. Some one senior needs to dig into the affairs of the meat suppliers.

Location location location. Breathtaking views and facilities. Historical castle converted to a luxury and non-overwhelming elegant hotel. The art curation of the hotel is also a must to experience (read the collection book) and so is the sundown boat tour with norbert. When the weather is right there is a hot-air ballon ride. Seize it if available

Nothing maybe only that: 1- they do not have a hot pool. Maybe the hot infitnity pool will be hot come winter? The sauna and spa facilities are great 2- The staff can be overwhelmed at times but it will get better with time i am sure. They are very knowledgeable and accomodating

We liked the whole environment and atmosphere. It is really a relaxing and carefree place. You have the whole mini bar for free, except alcoholic drink. You will be spoilt for choice. We have the lake view room, and the view was fantastic! Imagine sitting down, eating your snacks and having your drinks, and enjoying the view....

Breakfast and dinner main course is quite limited for us because we don't eat beef or veal. Location is quite far from the city but you enjoy a peaceful environment.

Amazing location, beautifully furnished castle, beautiful views on the lake from different angles. Very nice designed chalet style hotel.

Should add one hot pool. The two pools are cool, especially the outdoor one but water should be a bit warmer. Should improve service in the restaurant and the bar. Service was particularly friendly at the reception / arrival (particularly Victor is a very very nice gentleman, very attentive and friendly). However, restaurant and bar service could improve attention ( e.g. they forgot our wine order). Additionally it would be very nice if in such a traditional Austrian hotel all service speaks German (particularly in the restaurant).

A heartfelt and well-deserved shout-out to Viktoria for her outstanding dedication and exceptional service! Her kindness and commitment went far beyond our expectations. My wife accidentally left her pouch, containing all her lipsticks, at the hotel, and we only realized it after arriving in another city. Viktoria didn’t hesitate—she made sure the pouch was delivered to our hotel in the new city, saving the day. This level of attentiveness and care is truly remarkable and speaks volumes about her professionalism and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction. Viktoria is a true asset to the hotel, and her extraordinary efforts will undoubtedly make us loyal guests in the future.

It was taking quite sometimes to get out car and luggages when we were checking-out. It was a little bit disappointing. Apart from that, everything was okay.

A substantial property commanding an unparalleled location on Fuschl See with multiple amenities. The Schloss bar alone merits the visit. The staff are the best especially the Sommelier team Florian and Christian as well as the bar team led by Cindy with Ricardo and Ebo. Special mention to Chef Michel who elevated the food from a Hunter’s menu to a true Gourmet experience.

There’s nothing to dislike

It was great. Exactly what we were looking for which was: luxury facilities , surrounded by the amazing Austrian nature during the new year

Staff were overwhelmed by the high occupancy rate although it seems they were trying their best with the limited resources. This was clear in the service level of house keeping , restaurants and transportation. More resources are necessary during peak seasons.

Everything, it is beautifully decorated, the staff are extremely well trained and very pleasant. The sap area is very lovely.

The outdoor pool was a bit cold for winter. The high tea had way too much sweet food and only a tiny amount of savoury. A better balance would be nice.

Every little bit of this place was absolutely amazing! The location, decor, views, food, and most importantly, service! It was all nothing short of exceptional!

Nothing worth mentioning honestly.
