The property was so beautiful and well organized! My husband and I loved our stay there. The room was very lovely with lots of space and a big bed (which we were desperate for as we had been sharing double beds during our stays in previous hotels). The bathroom nicely clean which is a must for my OCD and the shower was to die for! It was so relaxing and the water pressure just perfect. We had lots of options during breakfast and they made sure to cater for lactose intolerance. So much good food and I loved their cheese (even though I never caught the name sadly). We loved that we were super close from the city centre so we could walk there any time but just outside enough that we weren’t disturbed by noise during the night.

The only thing I missed was having more individual cut fruits available instead of a big bowl of fruit salad. But that’s honestly nothing!

The location and comfort of the hotel was excellent...a short walk into the main square of about 15 mins meant you were close but not in the busy part of the square...breakfast was excellent and with a good choice of food...the staff were very pleasant and professional as well as very friendly...they took time to explain where everything was in proximity to the hotel...we stayed at end of November and our rooms were lovely and warm with hot water at all times and a lovely warm bathroom and floor..hotel was vintage building but comfortable and modern with everything you need..

No complaint at all but perhaps tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a suggestion...after a wonderful day in the city a nice hot drink in our room would have been nice but this is not a criticism at all...

This hotel was well maintained. It had a lovely garden area where you were free to sit. The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant - in particular, Amber. The breakfast was good, and staff people there were cordial. The hotel was not in the main area of Brugge, but it was a 15-minute walk away. It was in a lovely area along one of the canals. We had a very nice twin room with large windows with a beautiful view of one of the many canals. Unlike the other hotels we stayed in during this trip through five cities/towns, there was a bathtub. There was a supermarket nearby and a very good restaurant named Bistro Du Phare.

It would have been nice to have a tea kettle and coffee maker in the room since there were no nearby cafes, and the hotel's coffee maker was only on during breakfast. There was no ice available. Unlike the other hotels we stayed in during this trip, there was no refrigerator in the room. The front desk was closed in the evening, so if you had a query, it had to be made by 6 pm. Otherwise, it's a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay.

The canal is right outside the hotel, and the location is within 10 mins walk from the main attractions. There's a bus stop right outside that takes you to and from the Brugge Station. The hotel staff are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast in the morning and plentiful. Everything is fresh and very yummy, esp the fresh bread and croissants.

The only downside was our shower. We stayed in room 40 and the shower wasn't powerful enough. Also the shower head is positioned in a weird place where the water just ended up going everywhere. We also noticed there was no hooks in the bathroom, so we couldn't hang our towels anywhere to dry. We ended up having to use clothes hangers instead. I'm sure if the room was planned to be renovated as we noticed room 34, which was also ours was a lot more modern to ours. The shower was powerful and there were hooks in that bathroom!

Lovely guesthouse in the historic city 10 minute walk to centre, Christmas markets etc. Very convenient. Simple but comfortable rooms--warm, good showers, enough space for suitcases, stored our luggage on our last day. Best part was Ben at the front desk who was amazing. Super friendly, proactive and helpful. He got us restaurant reservations, made recommendations for sites and activities, and was just all around nice and helpful--sadly a bit of a rarity in Brugge customer service. Ben deserves a raise and a promotion.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The location including the canal view was very picturesque! Sam the receptionist was very friendly and helpful 10 out of 10 😀 He took time to give us directions to the Christmas markets (15 minute walk away) and advice on nearby restaurants and locations. The hotel was very clean, welcoming and a classic Bruges building with a modern conservatory at the rear looking into a stunning courtyard.

No tea / coffee making facility in room. We were already aware of this from previous reviews so not a problem to us but think it would help!

The hotel is gorgeous. It has a lovely breakfast room and courtyard. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. The family room was spacious and we liked it that the children’s beds were not next to each other. My children enjoyed the quirky old lift. The location was great for us. It is on a very quiet road next to the canal. There are lots of lovely bridges which are great for a photo opportunity. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Bruges. Overall, a wonderful experience and a lovely hotel that I would recommend.

A perfect gem of a hotel in a splendid location along the langerei canal, 5-10 minutes walk to the centre or there‘s a bus stop right outside. Very convenient if arriving by train. Marc and Leuve are perfect hosts, very welcoming and full of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The breakfasts are absolutely splendid - fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of bread, croissant, pastry, bread and cheese all served in a very elegant room. The public areas are beautiful. We had a room on the 1st floor with a canal view which was lovely

location is really excellent, 10 minutes walking from the centre (and from the windmills if you go the opposite direction). The neighbourhood is clean and nice; the parking is 30 metres away and quite cheap (20 euros per day) given the hourly rates on the street; staff extremely nice and welcoming. We also received recommendations for dinner and a very thorough walk through of the maps. A very nice, clean and elegant environment, facing the canal.

Having stayed at this hotel over many years I was slightly concerned that it may changed under the new ownership & lost some of its charm. I needn’t have worried. The decor was essentially the same and although breakfast had changed it was still good. I was pleased to see that the garages were available (as parking is at a premium in Brugge - but they were no longer lockable. All in all still a lovely place to stay.
