Great value for the price. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance from the airport. You can leave the car at the hotel for €10 per additional day and walk to the airport from there. You just need to make sure to exit the hotel and go right, and follow that route (going left seems shorter, but there is no way to enter the airport actually). The car park has a gate, but it is not guarded, so you shouldn't leave valuables inside the car. The hotel also offers taxi service, and the fare is very similar to the cheapest Uber you can get (don't trust the app). So, it is not overpriced. The room was comfortable and definitely a good deal for its price. It was also very clean and hygienically designed (for instance, the plastic shower).

We were two people and were given a room with a double bed and single bunk bed on top. Luckily the bunk bed was there, because the double bed is actually a 1.5 bed, and we wouldn't have fit, so I slept on top. I would keep that in mind if you have a child and plan to fit two adults in the double bed.

Good hotel for one night before or after the flight, in walking distance from the airport (but you can always order an airport shuttle from the hotel). Rooms are tight, but still give you all necessary comfort. There is a vending pizza machine just in front of the hotel, so you can easily eat something whenever you arrive, and it is very handy that there are tables outside the hotel, and you shouldn't pack you tight in your room with the pizza. Breakfast is simple, but decent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Please note that the hotel's territory with the parking is fully blocked by a metal fence, so you need to use a communication device outside the gates to ask to open the gate for you

I would definitely recommend this place if you are travelling to or from charleroi airpot. It is like 5 mins taxi ride from airport. For a budget hotel you will get what you need.

The cab/taxi service provided by the hotel is very bad, that person showed very bad attitude towards customers. We were travelling with a small kid and old age people, he could have helped us drop near to the airport entry rather he dropped us in the parking lot far far away from the entry door. To make the matter worse it raining. He was showing attitude while helping with seats and luggage. I would ask the hotel to relook at their taxi service, extremely poor.

Staff were fantastic and could not be more pleased to help guests enjoy their stay (we stayed two nights, hotel is halfway between Calais and Köln). Rooms were clean and typical 2* quality. Corridor noise didn’t impact us I mention as other reviews complained. Secure gated parking result available. Getting a taxi into Charleroi city centre is challenging but bus stop for airport bus/city centre is 2 mins walk from hotel

It’s a 2* hotel which we knew and expected, so nothing.

Transport to the hotel - We got train from Brussels Central to Luttre (we booked tickets online on the SNCB website), and then there is an airport shuttle bus right outside the train station at Luttre. We got off at the stop Gosselies J Mermoz which is right outside the hotel. Transport to the airport - We walked to the airport the next morning (around 15 mins walk). We asked for directions at the hotel and the receptionist was very helpful but the directions were very simple (Turn right out of the hotel, then right at the roundabout, and right again. The airport will be easy to see once at the roundabout. We didn't see any point in getting the airport shuttle as most of the walking is actually through the airport grounds/ car park. The Airport - We weren't the biggest fans of the airport itself (big queues to get through security so make sure to arrive in good time!), but that's another matter. Facilities - The facilities in the room were simple but adequate and reflect the price for the booking. There is a pizza machine right outside the hotel but we didn't use it, and there are microwave meals and vending machines available in the lobby. Hotel was perhaps a bit outdated and in need of some touch ups on paints etc but we found it adequate for our stay Location - There are no shops anywhere nearby, so we walked around 45/50 min to Quick and Lidl because we had nothing else to do!

I had a brief but pleasant stay at this hotel, spending just 7 hours before my flight. The location is perfect for anyone needing quick access to the airport, making the commute effortless. The taxi service was prompt and reliable, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptionally friendly, offering a warm welcome despite my short stay. The room was clean, providing a much-needed rest before my journey. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient and hassle-free stopover near the airport.

Limited power outlets.

IBIS is quite close to the airport. Despite being snowy, we were able to walk from the airport to the hotel in under 25 minutes. It conveniently has a 24/7 pizza oven outside, which was excellent by the way, as well as vending machines inside for drinks and snacks, including soup and microwaveable meals. The staff were incredibly helpful. For example, we ordered food delivery from Deliveroo and its arrival far exceeded the time given (30-45 minutes). The front desk called for us, as we do not speak French, and our food arrived within 10 minutes. Our stay was exactly what we needed for the night!

I feel that tea and coffee should/could be complimentary instead of 2 Euros from a vending machine.

The rooms are little ones, just what you need to stay near the airport, it is around 20-30 minutes walking, but the hotel has a very good shuttle service that is just €13 by room, which was awesome since it took us a 4:00 am in the morning with all our suitcases. The hotel has very good food, it is still a self service, but it is cheap enough and most of the things you need, some pizzas, prepared food, coffee, soups, ice cream, etc.

The rooms has a very few electrical outlets, we needed to make some adjustments here and there to charge our cellphones, watches and computers. There are some usb ports but they were not working on our room

Helpful english speaking staff, comfortable bed for an overnight stay before an early flight or after a late arrival. The room is quite compact, but with all amenities. Breakfast for 10 euros with enough choice. You can also buy lunch or dinner, coffee, and snacks from the vending machine. It was quiet at night.

Getting to or from the airport is quite inconvenient by foot and takes about half an hour. But there is a transfer at the hotel for additional money. The vending machine with dinners did not work for us, but the kind gentleman from the reception opened it manually and helped us that way.

A modest hotel, but gets the job WELL DONE! - personell was exceptionally helpful and communicative! VERY wholesome!!! - you have snack/sandwich/pizza options from vending machines (so you can get food/water at ANY hour) - BREAKFAST AVAILABLE SINCE 4 (or was it 5) IN THE MORNING ARE YOU KIDDING? WOW THAT WAS EPIC! - has a shuttle service so you don't have to negociate with the greedy pirate taxis from the airport (seriously, do yourself a favor and avoid getting skinned by the pirate taxi drivers and talk to the hotel to get you a shuttle)

It is a "budget" hotel so yes there are cut corners in some places but i honestly cannot complain. For a modest and "on the budget" hotel it really outdid itself. Clearly not the place to bring your wife on a honeymoon but its the perfect heaven for the man who has stuff to do and needs a decent resting place before the next flight.
