The room exceeded expectations. Even though it is in a small and old 'city', Hotel Des Comtes perfectly encapsulates the warm coziness of an old town yet still balances it with modern touches. The room was super comfortable with toasty beds. The bathroom was more modern. The room is clean throughout. The check in process was very smooth and fast. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Overall recommended for your stay in Durbuy!

Just be sure to know how to get in and out of the city. This is especially important if you are going by public transport. Not the hotel's fault of course!

- The WiFi wasn't working in our room - We couldn't use the electric charger with any of the apps we normally use. Maybe it is possible with a card, but we don't have one. - It would be nice if the self-service bar had a selection of snacks too

Would just like to thank the host for all their hospitality during my stay. I was on my own and there were no other guests and the lady went above and beyond. She put on the best breakfast and found me a charger as I had forgotten my adapter. So helpful and friendly. It meant a lot to have a nice warm welcome in the terrible weather. Would definitely like to come back.

We liked everything about this place. There is a nice garden out back where we could relax and a small playground for the children. Very nice seating area inside with self serve bar and coffee machine. The location is excellent. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.

It would be nice to have margarine or non-dairy butter, but breakfast was still good.

Nice hotel in a historic builidng on the river's edge right near the heart of Durbuy. Beautiful building and surrounding just outside the busy center / main road of Durbuy. Inside and outside bar and seating area. Very cozy and nice. Friendly staff. We were allowed to keep our car parked on the premises while we did a last hike after check out. Much appreciated.

The self check in and self service bar renders the hotel experience a little bit impersonal. But we guess that's becoming more and more common throughout the industry.

Location, parking, new room with very comfortable bed. They also had a common family room with a nice selection of to buy drinks and snacks.

We used the hotel as a stop over so the price for the time we spent was expensive. In addition, the high cost of the hotel did not include breakfast.

The hotel was very nice and in pretty good shape. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great, it sits at the end of the town where it’s nice and quiet but still within walking distance to everything, it was perfect. One of the best parts was that parking was included! We also had breakfast which was pretty good.

Overall the hotel was great but if I had any complaints it would be that a fixed shower head would be nice. Also the outdoor deck could use some sanding or maintenance as it was pretty rough for our kids to crawl and play on. And the playground could use a good cleaning as well. But again, overall the hotel was very nice and we would definitely stay again!

The hotel is beautiful and located just across the bridge from the centre of Durbuy. We received all the details to self check in by text and each room has allocated private parking, which was really helpful as we were on Motorcycles with friends. There is a self serve honesty bar with many beers, and soft drinks, set in a lovely courtyard overlooking the river. Champagne and wines were listed on the honesty bar list, but we could nor find these, nor could we locate anyone to order. The breakfast was plentiful and locally sourced. Very peaceful at night.

Only one issue, in order to have privacy in the room and bathroom when showering etc (ground floor) you had to keep the blackout curtains closed which made the room very warm and also very dark. Some blinds would work much better for this purpose.

Check in was easy, and the space was awesome!

Not really a didn't like, more of a liked least, was the things related to it being an historical building. The stairs creaked a little, climate control isn't magical, etc. These all add to the experience of the town, it's awesome.

Smooth check in, free parking was a god-send at this time of year with the Christmas crowds. Honesty bar was fully stocked at good prices

Would have been better if the car charging station was one that anyone could use and didn't require a specific membership card
