The location of the hotel is very good; it is very close to the city center. The tram stop and hop-on-hop-off boat stop are around 200 meters away. (I recommend getting a Ghent card to use all transportation for free.) The room was quite sufficient for us. The sofa bed was okay for my son to sleep on, the room was clean, and all required kitchen utensils were available. We stayed for 3 nights and were happy to reach the city center easily. I definitely recommend it for families for their short stays, and 3 nights are quite enough to see the beauty of Ghent

A modern room with contemporary design, the place has a nice vibe. Check-in and access is straightforward with a key card. There's a lift and a vending machine for some snacks. The room was sufficient for 2 people. The kitchenette was amply enough for a quick breakfast or some simple preparation, the added microwave is really useful. There were a few casseroles and a non-stick pan but the non-stick layer was scratched beyond use. There was an ironing board and an electric fan in the wardrobe. The place is located right in the city centre, public transportation is 100m away, and the St. Bavon Cathedral is a 2-minute walk away.

The soundproofing really needs an upgrade, you can hear door being slammed, luggage rolling, etc. It's especially noticeable early in the morning when you try to get some rest. The mattress of the bed was a bit too soft for my liking and I had some trouble adjusting to it.

It was a very spacious room, fully equipped with whatever you might need during a short stay, quiet, walking distance to everything and with very comfortable beds. They also provided instant coffee in the rooms which was very nice! We would definetely go back again!!!

If I need to mention one thing that would be the lights. You could only turn on all lights in the room. There was no night light for reading. What can be a problem for someone else is that the bathroom door does not lock and that the bathroom wall is glass (we knew already and we were OK with it).

The location of this hotel is PERFECT for all things you may want to do in Ghent. Its an adorable trendy hotel within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend.

No on site parking, nor any discounts for parking in the lot across the street. One would think that they could work a discount code or something. We stayed 2 nights and ended up having to pay 42euro for parking!

Location is great and the building is nice. Staff is helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Kitchenette equipped as described and worked out. Rooms were quiet. Good when travelling solo or with a couple, not for a group of friends.

The studio is definitely not for a group of people: no privacy in the bathroom, not enough power sockets, no place to dry your towels. Bathroom is a cubicle of blurred glass, no intimacy whatsoever. Our room was much smaller than stated in the booking.com site. Naturally rooms in an old building vary, but our room was very small as compared to the 24m2 promise. Also in the upmost floor the slanted roof makes the room even smaller - only half of the room space is full-height. We ended up renting an extra room, since this definitely was too small for 3 persons. The management attitude was not at all appreciative.

Everything you can ask for is in this apartment. Close to public transport links if you are coming from the train station and all attractions are under 20 minutes walk. The studio is very spacious and the couch is a double bed which is great if you don't want to share a bed ;). Very clean, the bed is very comfortable and plenty of cups, cutlery and cooking utensils for those wanting to cook.

The hotel is a street away from the city's red light district. It didn't bother us as the area wasn't rowdy but something to consider. But besides that, I cannot recommend the accommodation enough.

The hotel is overall really good, even luxurious. The location is also super good, please read the reviews from the other good features of the accommodation. One thing that exceeded our expectations were free and convenient lockers after the checkout: that was really handy!

Small points: - we were unlucky to visit it during the heat, and the room had quite a poor ventilation. There were fans though that helped to sleep well - the bathroom area in our room was super small and almost completely transparent from the people in the room. It was inconvenient since we were of a different sex

It's a great location - close enough to the center to do everything on foot or by tram from here on, but not in the center enough that you cannot bring your car around. The beds were comfy and the little space you have in your room is very efficiently used so that it doesn't even feel overly stuffy. It was quiet from the city sounds but the other guests made up for that at least one of the nights we stayed...

They made parking a bit complicated - first couple emails advertising it actually didn't have links, then I finally asked and they advised against using theirs (for reasons we later found rather unfounded), I booked anyways but when we arrived it wasn't reserved or available for us :( The bathroom was a far cry from clean (especially the floors) and showering little kids was a bit challenging. Overall the property is not child-unfriendly, but also not really designed for small kids either.

Loved the old building and it's location. The room is spacious and kitchen and seating area in the room are very handy. Also the bagage lockers are a great idea. We were able to use them on the day we arrived and also our day of departure, which was great. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

We liked the idea of the transparent glas used for the bathroom cubicle. A tip, we had a room on the ground floor which looked out onto a courtyard, across the courtyard there was a kitchen for the restaurant from the school of bussiness. When we needed to use the bathroom during the day we had to close the curtains of the room for privacy. Perhaps you could make the wall of the bathroom facing the window a closed off one, for privacy.
