The hotel is amazing and we will definitely be back. There wasn't much to fault, a stunning location with beautifully set gardens on the outskirts of Leper. The staff were lovely, and very very helpful. We made an error and thought we had booked the Sunday night, the hotel is closed but they let us stay and came in especially for us to do breakfast. The owner was super friendly. The room was fantastic and the beds and pillows were really comfortable, I slept very well. The hotel is quiet even with other guests. We want to come back in the summer and see the gardens in full bloom.

The room was really comfortable with lovely quiet air-conditioning and a really nice view across the garden. Breakfast was really excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and lots of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful and the welcome was warm and friendly.

The only thing I hadn't realised from booking.com was that the restaurant was only open on Sunday lunchtimes, so I had to head out to Ypres in the car for an evening meal, which I wasn't quite expecting, otherwise everything was really good.

Very well maintained, the gardens were lovely & well looked after. Bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and beds were particularly comfortable. Dining area was well laid out, decor was nice. 10 minute drive to Ypres, which is where we were going for sight seeing so that was nice. The lady working there (didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was very pleasant and made us welcome.

The only thing that I’d mention is more of a cooked breakfast option would be nice, although the breakfast supplied was still sufficient & nicely laid on.

It was really handy for Ypres. A small hotel with a function hall. There was a wedding on when we were there but there was no noise in our room. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful

A road in the village was closed and our sat nav sent us round some very narrow country roads before we found the hotel. It could have been more clearly signed from the road as the access road was small

Everything was amazing a great little Belgium hotel. Got there late for checkin was still let in. Probably the best sleep I had a few days. Room was spacious. Capped off a great visit to Europe would definitely visit again. Wifi available in entire hotel staff were very helpful. Location is very good to visit Ypres. Had a great visit thanks

The pillows in the hotel they were so comfortable that I couldn't wake up in the morning had the best sleep in a long time. And finally the bed was a double not two singles put together

The hotel is quiet and the breakfast was excellent. We have stayed before and the location remains a good one particularly it you are travelling on to another destination

There was a tear or rip in the bed sheet, which came as something of a surprise! It didn't detract from our enjoyment of the hotel, but such bed clothes shouldn't be provided for guests I would suggest

The staff were warm and friendly, helped with all our queries regarding our travel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet and had plenty to offer from pastries to cereal and yoghurt.

Disappointed that we were unable to eat in the restaurant the evening we arrived due to an event. Ideally would have liked to have been advised of this so we could make other arrangements.

Room and bed were very comfortable, and the spa bath was lovely. Breakfast was delicious but with only an overnight stay we didn't have a main meal in the restaurant. There was an EV charging point in the nearby car park.

We couldn't work the temperature control for the room, and it was slightly too cold.

Beautiful hotel set in a tranquil garden, about 12 minutes drive from Ypres market square and the Menin Gate. Clean, comfortable with lovely owners and a delicious continental breakfast. The location is perfect if you are driving, close enough to the centre without the noise.

We loved everything about Hotel De Lissewal. One slight problem on the second night/morning of our stay, the lift wasn't working. Understandably, these things do happen. It did cause a slight problem for my elderly parents but Bless them they managed.

Beautiful village and grounds surrounding this very tastefully and well appointed hotel. Rooms are modern, fresh and clean, with a very comfortable bed and crackin bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style, with really good options.
