The lack of hot water in the room for 3hrs also there was so much chlorine in the pool that our eyes stinged from the air around the pool, so we didn't dare enter the water. The steam bath was not steamy and the finish sauna was out of order.

Nestled in the heart of nature, Hotel Complex Trakiets is a delightful escape that offers more than just a stay; it's an experience. The highlight of our visit was the exhilarating horseback riding adventure within the complex, which added a touch of excitement to our peaceful getaway. Trakiets truly is a gem that offers both relaxation and adventure in one beautiful package.

Lovely place that provides an amazing experience. Our family truly enjoyed our time with the horses. The food in the restaurant was delicious and it offers some great local cuisine options. There are two outdoor playgrounds for kids and an internal play room which is suitable for kids under 8yo. They also offered us a lovely guided walkthrough with details about the property, horse-riding and how to take good care of the horses.

The staff at reception seemed a bit inexperienced. The rooms can use some renewal and maintenance, but overall are clean and comfortable.

Our family had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our stay was definitely the wonderful horses and the well-maintained stable; it was a joy to spend time there. Our apartment was spacious , providing ample room to relax and for our daughter to play. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was delicious and well-prepared.

There were a couple of areas that could use improvement. The air conditioning in our room was not working properly, making the rooms uncomfortably hot at times. Additionally, the spa zone could benefit from an upgrade or renovation to meet modern standards.

The breakfast was good. The SPA facilities were excellent with a wide variety compared to other similarly priced SPA hotels in Bulgaria. The room was clean and cosy with nice wooden furniture and a spacious terrace. Overall, it's a great hotel where you can relax in the nature.

The food in the restaurant was very disappointing. It was highly overpriced for what you get. Very small quantity and not well presented. Unfortunately, there isn't another restaurant in proximity to the complex.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a roomy bathroom, The breakfast spread was very good (albeit some of the options we saw last winter were missing) and the restaurant offers great menu options for lunch and dinner. The true highlight are the gardens (with the playgrounds) and the stables with the options for horseback riding and pony walks. It's a great place for families with small children.

"Not like" would be a bit strong. The SPA & Relax center is decent and clean, but nothing to write home about.

Overall ambiance, excellent equestrian facility and training, spacious rooms with good a/c cooling, comfortable beds with good bed linen, superb breakfast with wide choice, very good restaurant again with broad choice of meals with international flavour not just Bulgarian, abundant sun beds around the pool, friendly staff with good service attitude.

Minor points...little choice of beers, only one Bulgarian Pilsner, and pillows could be better quality.

Nice, kind and gentle staff all over, very well cleaned and maintained resort, great pool, great gardening, big room, good breakfast buffet, nice surrounding, 15 min drive from hisarya

Air condition at the room didn't cool enough. Mattress was very soft. No elevator, we slept at first floor therefore had to lift our bags. The restaurant dishes can be better, also need to find a way to reduce the number of flies and mosquitoes (probably relate to the horses)

+++ Pet friendly, which was the main reason to select this hotel. +++ The personnel. Especially the waitress that served us for 2 evenings. On the second evening when our kids were obviously tired, she brought us a table game to keep them occupied, without us even asking for such. Great professional! ++ The spa is small but nice. ++ Everything was very clean. ++The surrounding area is absolutely great and the garden of the hotel was very well maintained! ++ Around the hotel there is this path where one can walk the dog freely. ++ The horses are great as well as the instructors!

- There was an issue with the booking, I believe by booking.com itself, where instead of two 7-year-old kids we got somehow the option for one 12-year-old. Despite the fact that we have booked the deluxe studio which should be for four people and we were three (just me and 2 of my sons) I needed to pay an extra sum of money for one of the kids which was a bit strange for me.

We had the most amazing time during our stay in Trakiec and we look forward to our next trip there! The entire team is super professional, friendly and extremely polite going above and beyond to meet the customers expectations. The hotel itself has lovely facilities with beautiful landscaping and green areas, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast and overall menu at the restaurant are very nice. The most impressive thing however are the majestic horses and the very well maintained and clean arena and stable. It was a pleasure to have horse riding lessons with instructors that care for the animals and are willing to teach you the subtleties of the sport! Specials thanks to our two instructors, Georgi and Bobi, the reception team for coordinating all our bookings (massages/horse riding lessons/ restaurant booking) -the short tour during our first day was lovely -and our charming waitress Maria :) keep up the amazing work and providing that 'family' feel to your guests. the overall spa experience needs some improvement and we would definitely enjoy the option of a lobby bar or whisky-cigar room for after dinning drinks.
