This place was built with a lot of love and you can feel it in every detail. The owner Ben and his family are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are modern and the beds comfortable with luxurious linens. Truly heavenly beds! Nice shower with perfectly hot water. And gorgeous and peaceful surroundings. Nothing better than laying on a hammock with a book in hand and drifting away to the sound of nature. Ben and Charlie welcomed us with open arms and even cooked us an amazing Christmas dinner.

Construction of new units made the site look a bit scruffy

The location is right next to the river, quiet and beautiful. Gigantic windows and shared terrace allow for morning yoga/meditation or simply river watching. The family and their staff are extremely helpful, full of tips and kind. Charlie, the owners son is the cutest and remember to bring him some coins from your country as he's a keen collector. Animals are all around and it's great to just sit and listen to all the wilderness at night. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and so was the rest of the food available to order (best and most authentic amok I've had through the whole two week stay in Cambodia). Kayaks are available without additional charge if you want to explore the river... Can't recommend this place enough, you have to experience it on your own!

Nothing at all. Everything was perfect

We booked for one night but ended up staying five. We loved the rooms, view, staff, and location. The rooms were well designed and very comfortable - especially the bed. I treasure solitude and thought that I wouldn't like the shared deck, but it was so quiet and peaceful. I think other guests were respectful of one another precisely because there were no walls and they could see the people they might be annoying and so kept noise to a minimum. I spent every morning and evening reading by the river, and was often eager to leave the main town so I could get back to my spaghetti bolognese and book. And when I got too hot I just jumped in the river! Ben, his family, and the staff are delightful. When we booked Ben wrote to let us know what we should expect to pay for a tuk-tuk and provided his phone number in the event that we were quoted more. He was so helpful during our stay, including finding a scooter from another hotel when his was already rented, and offering advice about what sites to visit. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Nothing - it was wonderful.

The place is stunning, panorama is great and the place a gem. The owners and the staff are really nice and always ready to answer our questions. Ben was really helpful and always trying to accommodate the requests from my group (we were a group of 6 friends). The Queen rooms are really big with a queen size bed, while the Deluxe rooms are smaller but with a King size bed. We loved the outside veranda in front of the rooms, perfect for chill out in the afternoon or for a chat before going to sleep. They provide free kayaks you can use in the river. I definitely loved the place and I will back next year for sure. Thanks Ben and family.

If I have to find a black spot, is about the breakfast. Is tasty, but maybe the portion a little bit small and most of all it would be really nice to have 1 coffee included in the price.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and our stay was absolutely great. It's in the middle of the nature and straight on the river so you get the river stay experience while being 7mn drive or with a tuktuk from the city center. The owner was very helpful and easy going, very happy to share and advise on where to go and what to visit around. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed. I might even meet you there cause I'll definitely be back.

Amazing hotel! Spacious room. Room and bathroom very clean. Water,coffee and tea provided. No fridge in room but that’s not really a dealbreaker. Amazing staff. The owner and his family are very nice and super helpful. will help with anything you need. we arrived early in the morning and was able to check in. they speak perfect English. helped to arrange a scooter rental. location is good but with a scooter, no issues. hot water as well. don’t hesitate to book! great hotel in Kampot.

This stay was one of the best I have had in 7 weeks travelling south east asia. Such a peaceful location, friendly pets, the room was clean, lovely view and comfortable bed! Ben and his family/staff made me feel so welcome and helped us with anything we needed including sorting our tickets for the transfer to next location and scooter rental for the duration. We were able to do fishing and kayaking for free and the free breakfast was great as were evening meals. Thanks again for everything was lovely to meet you all!

We had a relaxing three days and enjoyed the hospitality of Ben and his family and staff. The food was excellent, including the pancakes for breakfast and coffee. It is a kind of glamping / home stay experience. Aircon was cool and quiet. Bed was really comfortable.

I liked that there was no tv and was away from the town but other people might not like this.

Staff were super helpful and lovely. Room was very comfortable (great bed) with a really good shower and nice bathroom. Riverfront location is beautiful and the food is good. Free water. Staff booked us a great trip to Bokor and gave good advice about the firefly cruises.

A little distance from town, but not a problem - tuktuks are super cheap and quick on Grab.
