Amazing hotel right on the beach with plenty of loungers, access to kayaks & paddle boards as well as a swimming pool. The breakfast was very nice with lots of fruits, western and asian foods. The staff were very helpful when we were travelling to our next island via ferry.

You had to continuously buy bottles of water instead of there being somewhere to refill.

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful huge swim up room, very efficient aircon, stunning surroundings, pure emir sandy beach, sitting on one of the best beaches on the island, hammocks, sunbeds, lots of seating, massage on the beach, friendly charming staff, bar service on the beach, great food, first class pools, huge gym, small taxi boat affiliated with the hotel, bars and restaurants three minute walk, so glad we ignored some of the reviews on here that were completely unjust

Nothing whatsoever, fabulous hotel

Absolutely beautiful location. Stunning beach. The most amazing staff. And the room was lovely. And the food was incredible. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and the hotel was so amazing. They allowed us to reserve and decorate the cabana, helped us with the cake, and really made her birthday so special. The staff here are incredible. For me, good staff make a resort what it is. They are so helpful, so kind and really considerate when it comes to special requests. I also requested a late check out because our boat was only coming at 12:30, and they were really accommodating. Every single day we were greeted with a smile, my room was cleaned to perfection. The food was great at the breakfast. And the station staff at the breakfasts were friendly and so so lovely. I will definitely be back here again. As far as the resort, the facilities are beautiful. 3 pools, and an entire private beach section where outside guests are not allowed so you were guaranteed a nice lounger spot for the day. Cabanas with a fan. Benches with comfy cushions. Amazing excursions, boat trips ($80) for the entire boat and guide with a tour, ($15) a day bike rental, really great to ride around the island and see the other side. Paddle boards and kayaks free to use for hotel guests. Umbrellas in every room for the days it rains (I thought that was a really nice touch) and towels for the beach or pool. Beautiful robes in the bedrooms, so soft and comfy, and they fit! I'm a big girl and those robes were just incredible. Such good quality. And overall just really good attention to detail. What a beautiful holiday.

The prices of the drinks at the resort are a bit high. So for things like coffee ($3), or a smoothie ($4), those prices were just a bit too much. Even a drop by like 50c on drinks items would have been great. And for someone who doesn't drink alcohol, having a slightly more reasonable drinks option is always amazing.

Just in front of the beach, two minutes walking from the port. Great value. Great food. Best Pad Thai !

The beach must have some trashes to avoid plastic and garbage.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast - in a pavillon directly on the beach - was great. Perfect omelets, fresh fruit, a variety of warm dishes, english and khmer . our room was only some steps away from the beach vis a vis the clean pool, another pool allowed for swimming exercises. Our area of the beach was kept quite clean and well groomed with comfortable beach loungers and (free) beach towels. And the palm trees provided very agreeable shade on the beach. Even the beginning of the rainy season proved to be no problem, a short rain and the rest of the day was fine.

The staff was always so happy and helpful! We are very thankful for the help we got from the front desk. They were just awesum! The breakfast was good, a buffet to choose from and an egg counter where you can choose what kind of eggs you want! Rooms are good with a nice view to the pool. Pool also nice and quiet. Beach clean and tranquil, not too crowded. We enjoyed our stay here, which definitely is the better part of this island, away from Koh touch!

Everything was fine really, just the gym could be upgraded a bit. The machines are outdated and not really working. But that only concerns those who actually want to spend their time at the gym during their vacation :) On the other hand, they have a ping-pong table that we used a couple of times. Real fun!

Long set Resort location is very convenient and really close to the Pier. The beach and the scenery with crystal clear water and charming palm trees is really nice. The staff at the resort is just exceptional. All the staff is really kind and welcoming, nothing seems a problem for them and they are always ready to help with any questions or situations that you might encounter. The breakfast buffet is also really nice with plenty of options to choose from - the food is freshly prepared and tasty. We had a problem with out room toilet and the staff did really good job in trying to resolve the issue and also eventually upgraded us to different-better room. I can not express enough the kindness of the staff!

The price performance in terms of quality of the resort (building and the amenities) is not the best. Rooms are really basic and not to charming. Even though you come to Koh Rong not to stay in the room but to enjoy the beach life, some room and amenity refreshments would be great. Also at the reception they are promoting snorkeling trips but they are actually more boat trips with just 30 minutes of snorkelling in one spot. I would appreciate it if this could be presented more accurately.

I can only recommend this resort to stay. The stuff is truly amazing and caring. They were always looking for how and when they can help, always smiling and happy. They definitely made our stay memorable and comfortable. Location is perfect as it’s right next to the pier, and surrounded by some stores and restaurants. The beach is amazing, and really clean, plenty of sunbeds and I loved that the paddle board and kayak is free to use. Really good variety of food for breakfast, both asian and continental. The restaurant has really tasty food and big portions. We ended up extending our stay as we were not ready to leave this paradise.

We had a great stay and enjoyed every day. Staff is very freindly and attentive and quick with all your wishes. The beach and ocation in general is very nice giving you multiple options for outdoor dining and drinks, if you dont want to stay only in the resort all the time. For sure a recommendable place to stay.

We addressed a few minor things during the check-out and we appreciated that the manager came up to us and talked to us about our observations while we were waiting for our transfer. Biggest dislike was the gym. We like doing some gym workout in the morning and therefore is one criteria when choosing an accommodation. But most of the machines were not in good shape or not safe to use, so we did not use it at all. You could see some investments going on to enlarge the guest experience in the resort, but the existing facility should not be neglected. Same as few more sunbeds on the beach, parasols and new SUP boards as well as paddles will not hurt. Still a great resort, beach and staff, but this stood out for us.

Our experience at this hotel was outstanding, largely thanks to the exceptional work of the restaurant manager, Mao Chantola, who truly deserves every praise. It feels as though he manages the entire hotel – he notices every small detail and gives individual attention to each guest. It’s remarkable how he remembers what every guest enjoys, when they come for breakfast, and what they’re interested in. He spends a lot of time engaging with guests, sharing stories about the local history, and answering any questions, which makes everyone feel truly welcomed. The rest of the staff also deserve recommendation. The team at reception was just as amazing – every time we went on an excursion, they walked us to the pier and handed us off to the tour organizer, giving us an added sense of security. Everyone was always smiling and happy to help whenever we needed. The housekeeping team, who took care of the bungalows, did their work quickly, efficiently, and without a single fault. Also the beach is clean, they keep it in perfect condition, the water is cristal clear, because of this constant work. This is definitely a place worth visiting, and we’re already looking forward to coming back one day. Thank you all for this wonderful experience!
