We were in a third floor apartment with balcony which had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. A fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Car parking was included.

We struggled to access the room as the room numbering system wasn't explained. We were trying to access the wrong apartment. Additionally, the property is a ski-lodge/hotel and had many amenities open in the summer which we weren't aware of until 2 days into our stay as they are to the rear of the hotel. I think it could be made clearer what shops and activities, ski lifts, etc., are open for our use during the summer months. The venetian blinds in the bedroom need attention. Some of the slats were bent/buckled and looked unsightly. Not a good first impression when you walk in the room. Also, the balcony railings moved when touched. This is something that needs looking at as they appeared loose and unsafe.

The ski lodge was a beautiful setting for our September stay in Golden. The room was somewhat cozy but adequate for our stay for a single night. The room was clean and the staff hospitable.

Like some other ski resort lodges that we have stayed in, this one is to dark inside the common areas to sit and read or anything of the sort. Also, the elevator was not working (perhaps that is why we received a reduced rate), but hopefully that was a one-off experience (we had to climb two rather long flights of stairs to our room). Unless you pay extra to park in the indoor garage in the building, you will likely have a long trek to the gravel parking lot. Even so, I think we would stay again if traveling in the area.

This was one of our favourite hotels from this trip. Staff at check in were really friendly. The room was really lovely and had everything we could need. Bed were comfy, room was clean and we slept well and the room was lovely and quiet.

If you visit in the summer like we did, the location is not the best, but it would be great for skiers in the winter. It is a good 15 minute drive into Golden, with no stores open up there, apart from a small convenience store which has very very limited hours. Worth it for the cheap price in the summer for us. Parking was limited, but as it was so quiet we always had a space. I can imagine parking could get tricky in the winter. They do have paid underground parking, which I imagine would be worth it in the winter.

We had a two bedroom suite facing the ski hill. Location was about 12km out of town. The room was great, spacious and well layed out. The balcony was a perfect place for morning coffee and look at the mountains. Having a restaurant and convenience store on site was a bonus (we were told Golden restaurants will not deliver there). Wifi was strong. The amenities included, Fireplace , stove, oven, coffee maker, washer and dryer.

The only No AC. It was very hot (34 - 35 degrees Celsius). They did offer a few fans which helped. It's a perfect room for Ski season as you only a few meters from the Gondola, but in the heat of summer , it can become uncomfortable. As you are in the mountains it did cool down somewhat at night, but having an AC unit would have given this resort a 10+.

The lodge was at the foot of the main chair lift so was in an excellent location. There was a cafe and restaurant downstairs, and a spacious boot room with lockers and boot warmers that opened out through a security door to the chairlift!

The lodge was in such good location that factors that were not optimal seemed not important. As with most of these places, the bed was comfy but the pillows were too soft and unsupportive. The decor is very dark and drab. A bit like going through a time warp to the 80s! The front rooms are a bit noisy but we actually liked the chairlift music and bustle of apres ski until 6-7 pm every night, along with piste bashers in the night. If you want a quieter room ask for one facing away from the mountain.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel as a part of our honeymoon. We arrived after 6 pm, the check in was already prepared for us. Entering the room we were welcomed with a complementary bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate and a nice card greeting us and wishing us a wonderful honeymoon. The room was spacious and had its own washing machine. Kitchen was equipment everything you need. Nice balcony with Mountain View. As we wanted to check out, the young lady in the reception was incredibly friendly & helpful. She gave us good tips for our onward journey to Banff. She took her time to tell us the do’s and don’ts, and we left with several restaurant and hiking tips. We were very happy with the hotel, the room and the great service. We can highly recommend this hotel. Ps. A black bear with a cub was spotted 400 m from the hotel!

The staff is absolutely lovely. They welcomed us so warmly and explained everything clearly from the get-go. The rooms are big, bright and just lovely and the views are amazing. It really felt like a home away from home and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Our only regret was that we didn't budget our time better and spent there more nights.

The fridge in our room made weird noises at night. Fortunately, we didn't need it so we unplugged it.

We stayed in September for one night and enjoyed the peace at night and clear starry skies up and out of the town. Comfortable bed and useful having a kitchenette in the room. Lovely balcony for having a wee coffee in the sun. We managed to get a good price on a Thursday night.

A little far out of town as mentioned so best to plan ahead for food/drinks though room does have kettle, microwave and coffee machine. Our particular room was quite small with not a lot of space for suitcases. The difference in weekend pricing meant it only made sense for us to stay one night. Keep an eye on roadworks status with works outside of Golden - not the hotel's fault but just meant our drive to the property from Banff was very different than expected.

The sauna and hot tub where a great hit. Close to the Gondala. Recommend the Bear visit by chair lift Gondala ride and lunch all on one ticket $104 per adult.

Wasn't really clean. We only had one chair to sit on the balcony for 4 people. We had to ask and did get more toilet paper and shampoo and conditioner. Property was run down. Has to have maintenance man come and fix all four dining chairs. Utensils handles all broken
