Nice to spend a night in such a beautiful historic house. Staff was amazing, food was great and served in a charming dining room well decorated for the Holiday season. The owners were very attentive to our requests even if they were super busy with a group dinner in one of the dining room.

As many old houses, there was a bit of a draft (cold Winter day) coming from the old windows in our bedroom facing the front. Fortunately, we cranked up the heat but the bathroom floor and temperature stayed cold. Otherwise, it was a wonderful room and all the rest was very satisfying.

It was a really nice place to stay. The Staff was efficient and courteous. The room was very spacious. We arrived when they were hosting a private function and that was confusing but the staff member took care of us very quickly and showed us to our room. She promised it would be quiet after they left and by the time we came back from our dinner in town, it was much better.

Beautiful home and area. The restaurant was fantastic. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced in travelling. The staff work in the restaurant and are generous and kind.

I had the last room, the two-bed suite. The room was plain compared to the other historically decorated rooms. After seeing what the other rooms looked like, it was a little disappointing, but not really a big deal.

I loved the comfort of the facilities and the staff was exceptionally friendly and informative. It was especially nice to have a restaurant on the premises.

The night light was a great idea but it wasn't working. Lots of stairs, fortunately, I was able to maneuver the fine but it would limit someone with a handicap.

The breakfast was healthy, fresh and excellent. It would have been nice to have more of a variety of breakfast items though over our 4 days. The service was impeccable. The view from our room (2) was nice. The town landscape was beautiful.

The only complaints I have is the single ply toilet paper and we had allot of trouble with our tv which was never fixed properly. I had no idea single ply toilet paper still existed.

Overall. Loved everything about the location and services.

With regards to breakfast, I personally would have preferred to have an option for my dietary needs. I'm keto. I do not eat breads or fruits or sugar. So, perhaps an extra egg or another slice of cheese would have been nice.

Lovely house and grounds, wonderful staff.

It is an old mansion, quite nicely remodeled but no lobby area to sit and read - except outside ( problematic if it’s rainy). The room was quite small - so we needed an additional place to sit to be able to read…

Owners were very friendly. They do serve a big dinner here sit down but you need to make reservations ahead of time. It is a popular restaurant in the area.

It is a bit remote. You have to drive into town.

It is such a beautiful old property. Well-maintained and tastefully decorated.

The WiFi needs improving. And the bathtub was not useable because it did not have a plug.

Lovely room with sufficient casual seating for 2 along with a small desk to set up the laptop. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. They also have an excellent dining room but we chose to eat dinner elsewhere.

As we were on a road trip with food in a cooler it would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room and access to ice.
