The staff experience was a delight and the house/location was perfect for our needs. We were able to walk to the Falls and also go to restaurants in the neighborhood. Having that neighborhood location was a great amenity. Having off-street parking was highly appreciated and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it as well. The driveway was very large and very wide (enough for 2 cars side-by-side, so parking with our car was not a problem. Our room on the first floor was spacious and the outside porch was perfect for cooling down and sitting in the fresh air after a long day of walking. All of our breakfasts were delicious and a different meal was served every time.

The only thing we can think of is that breakfast from 9am-10am may be late for some travelers. We usually eat earlier, but we adjusted for the trip. It meant that we had breakfast and left immediately afterwards the day of our checkout since we had an 8-hour drive ahead of us.

Really enjoyed the hosts' responsiveness, warmth and great and delicious breakfasts. Location was perfect and close to the falls, leading to a pleasurable visit. Rooms were very clean and had AC, and access to a small communal kitchenette as greatly appreciated. We were even able to safely charge our e-scooters and the hosts didn't mind! Great spot and would definitely come back if we go back to Niagara Falls! Hostess also went above and beyond to make my partner feel special for her birthday :)

The single and only con for the whole trip was that the bed was a bit noisy, but we suspect that this was caused by a mattress protector or cover on the mattress itself.

The lovely woman who ran the B&B was extremely kind and flexible in allowing us to park our vehicle prior to check-in. The room was cozy and comfortable and not to mention the incredible breakfast that left us completely satisfied! A very nice stroll to Niagara Falls (all walkable). Highly recommend this place and would return again! Especially loved supporting the kind owners.

The only uncomfortable point I would note is the door to the ensuite bathroom had a clear glass window so when the bathroom is in use, others in the room can see directly into the bathroom. It would have been nice to have curtains or blinds on the door for privacy. All the rooms may not have this issue for the bathroom and it may have just been the room we stayed in.

This hotel is actually very lovely and very cozy house with only 4 rooms in it. I believe each has it's own bathroom (our had one) and there's a shared space on 2nd floor with fridge, cooler with water, microwave and coffee machine to get some snacks. The breakfast is awesome, beautifully served, and it's A LOT! Lee is wonderful host.

It's not a negative side, but house is around 20 minutes away walk from downtown Niagara and all attractions. Good that there's not many people out there, but if you prefer exploring places by feet - prepares some comfortable footwear ))

The house was clean and well-maintained, the decorations were charming and romantic, and the location and free parking were very convenient. The room had everything you would need and more - plenty of towels, toiletries (including bubble bath soap for the hot tub), a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, as well as wine glasses for a nice touch. The host was very friendly and breakfast was phenomenal - eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, toast, orange juice, coffee/tea, oatmeal cookies and banana bread, fruit and yogurt. The room was private and quiet, with a private entrance, en-suite bathroom and hot tub.

It was almost perfect! The only thing was that my partner who is 5'11 was taller than the shower head, but this was not a major issue. It was a bit cold in the basement at first but the heater provided in the room warmed things up very quickly.

An incredible value for money! Great hot breakfast and charming rooms, located ideally for a trip to the falls. A bus stop is a short walk away but check the options to get a tariff beforehand since you can’t buy it online, at the B&B or on the bus. We were allowed to leave our car at the place even after check out and could borrow the complimentary bikes from the B&B - which obviously are not to be compared to well maintained rental bikes from a professional shop.

You need to like the „old fashioned“ B&B style.

Wonderful stay at Blue Gables Bed and Breakfast! The charming design and cozy atmosphere made for a memorable experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with a delicious variety that started each day perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy and welcoming stay!

Everything was great!

We liked the location, only a 20 minutes-walk to the American Falls. You could also go by bus, but getting tickets, considering time schedule is uncertain etc makes walking easier and it is beautiful along the River. The room was spacious, coffee and tea available 24/7, breakfast was good (cakes, yoghurt and fruits, warm dish), hosts very friendly and flexible when we asked for an early breakfast, free parking on the driveway.

The bathroom can not be closed, it has a door but also a window without glas. The toilet in the bathroom has a little curtain, the toilet is also not high enough to stand up straight.

Located in a quiet. relaxing neighbood, Blue Gables is just 2 blocks from a bus stop & still within reasonable walking distance of the Falls. Mrs. Lee is very polite, attends to details, & serves a tasty full breakfast every morning. Our room was spacious & had a private bathroom w/large shower that always had hot water. WiFi is just for owners & their guests, so it's much faster & more reliable than crowded hotels, restaurants, etc. The price was reasonable for a peak season weekend.

Our first night followed a 90 F day, so the mini split A/C in our room struggled a bit to keep it as cool as we like (70 F). However, the next day the temps dropped into the 80's F and we were fine.

Breakfast was ample and varied. Location was excellent, close to the falls and local attractions, but in a quiet neighborhood. Our room had a small back porch, which was a nice feature.

When we got our room key, we were told that it would open both the room and the B&B's front door. We found that this wasn’t the case. Fortunately, our host arrived quickly with a key ring that had 2 keys, one for our room and one for the front door.
