There was construction work going on outside our room window. Luckily we were out all day so this was not a problem. There were no issues at night. But it would have been nice to have been informed.

The staff spoke excellent English. They were happy to store my suitcase for 3 hours (I arrived in town long before the room was ready) and formally check me in at midday. I could then spend the day with friends and pick up my key in the evening. They ordered me a taxi for my return to the airport (at the end of my 4 day stay; this cost $27) and even supplied me with a glass of milk for supper in my room at no extra cost (on the first night). After this, the mini fridge in the room meant I could buy and chill drinks for myself. The security safe was reassuring. The desk & chair were perfect for using my laptop in the evening. Although the hotel is in a built-up area my 3rd floor room did offer a view of distant hills. Breakfasts were also good, though I did not otherwise eat at the hotel. Providencia is a pleasant neighborhood with good shopping (e.g. the Cenca Costanera mall is a mile away) and plenty of places to eat. With the metro (line 1[red]) only 500m away, it was easy to access the city centre and other attractions such as Fantasylandia.

A friend and I stayed at the Almasur at the end of our trip with the intent to do a wine tour and relax before flying home. The property was well-maintained, and had great areas for sitting, relaxing, and hanging inside and outside. The restaurant was convenient, reasonably priced, and had friendly staff. The Providencia area was safe and walkable. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s a small thing, but after asking 2 staff members for more coffee pods we were unable to procure more than the two provided for our 3-night stay. Also small, but pool could’ve been cleaner.

Coffee pods and bottled water were supplied for the first night. When requested for second night we were told that “courtesy items were only supplied for first night and subsequent supplies would be billable” This information should be conveyed up front when checking in. In all fairness once I expressed my displeasure to the front desk additional courtesy items were supplied free of charge. The air conditioning unit temperature control was locked at 24C, the windows didn’t open. Although I understand the energy savings measure the room was west facing and in the afternoon/evening it felt like a greenhouse.

Brilliant location within walking distance of lots of tourist attractions. The hotel was spotless, and I think the rooms are very well isolated as I could not hear the people next door. Very tasty breakfast, and also I consider it a huge plus having a restaurant on-site that serves great food.

On arrival, we had two bottles of water, but they were not replaced daily. Also, there were two coffee capsules which we used on the very first day, and no one added new ones throughout our stay. Little touches, but they count; otherwise, I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Looks like the laundry service for this hotel is not up to the standards of this kind of hotel. The towels and bedding sheets are in need of urgent replacement; although very clean they lack of crisp and white. Not sure if I had bad luck, but the two rooms I stayed in; had really old towels and sheets. And they smell as if they were not dried properly.

Well located, professional and friendly reception staff, room absolutely fine with an especially comfortable bed. Spacious outdoor courtyard area with nice set up of lounge sofas and chairs as well as poolside sun beds. The cafe with indoor and outside seating looked great but we didn’t get to try it. Just an overall nice deco and vibe to this hotel. After doing a lot of research to find the right place to stay in huge Santiago we were very happy with our choice of accommodation for two nights.

I am slightly scared of providing a good review because I don't want this fantastic hotel to be overbooked and then it will be super expensive. But there is literally nothing I could say that is bad about this hotel. The room was gorgeous, the building was fantastic, it had everything I needed from USB connections to charge my phone to controlled temperature in the room, to a robust desk, to wonderful water temperature and pressure to shower. This hotel is spectacular and the staff always goes above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay comfortable. I will stay here again.

I don't know why I need to fill out 60 words to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The location is spectacularly good, and the staff is out of this world.

A very nice hotel in a very nice neighbourhood in Santiago. Providencia is ideal to stay, being not far away from the centre and avoiding the noisy and always crowded from tourists Lastarria. Good restaurants, bars and nice cafés can be found within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean; we had an apartment with a balcony. Good breakfast and a very nice bar, offering a variety of drinks. The personnel were kind, friendly and helpful.
