Does what it says on the tin - really convenient! Given all the feedback about the shuttle being hard to find I reached out to the hotel after booking and got very clear instructions on how to get the shuttle from terminal 2. All you have to do after you land, is from the arrival levels, go up to the departure level, find terminal access gate 46, and wait for the shuttle there (its a shared pullman/novotel small shuttle, there is a LED panel on the side) from landing to getting to bed it took me less than 40 minutes. The only confusing bit is that there was a large crowd at gate 46 but they were waiting for a different bus.

I was just there for 6 or so hours so no negatives really - price is a bit high, but better than the pullman and probably does just as good of a job for just one night during an overnight layover

The location is close to Baiyun airport and railways station so it convinience to go to anywhere in China from the place.

The toilet is china style ,not international style, no water hose in toilet so it a bit difficult for us.

An excellent hotel for a comfortable stay while waiting for the next flight. I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, the cozy and clean room, modern furniture, and the wonderful on-site restaurant. The location is very convenient, and the transfer from the terminal to the hotel was quick and seamless. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable option for a transit stay!

The bathroom in the room could be improved. There is no privacy, and nowhere to hang a robe before taking a shower. The toilet door is made of glass and doesn’t close tightly. The sink is positioned awkwardly, making access to the mirror difficult. Additionally, you have to be careful while washing to avoid splashing water onto the nearby bed.

Location of the Novotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is super convenient for an overnight layover in Guangzhou with excellent facilities, including a good sized Gym, Spa and large outdoor Swimming Pool. Provides a wide choice of restaurants and shops as well as nicely appointed modern soundproof rooms. A regular free shuttle service every 30 mins connects the hotel to Terminal 1 and 2 and the Pullman Hotel next door. Breakfast was great with a wide range of Asian and Western style options including cook to order stations. Staff speak multiple languages and were very helpful.

Due to the requirements of Airport security which is understandable give how close the hotel is to the Airport it is not possible to walk to the hotel from Terminal 2 meaning that the regular free shuttle bus is the best option for transportation of people and luggage.

It was exceptional. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Its location is very convenient - a three -minutes walk from the Departure Hall of Baiyun Airport. The staff was very kind and helpful. Check-in and check-oit were a breeze. Super fast and convenient. The room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The bed was amazing - so soft and comfortable. Pretty awesome! We ordered room service. The food was tasty and delicious. After 10-hour flight it tasted extremely appetizing. We had a really amazing experience in this hotel. 11 out of 10!!!

Very seamless experience! The staff was very communicative and responsive (all staff spoke English). A couple of days before my arrival they messaged me their airport shuttle schedule. I didn't need to book it, I just had to show up at the stop, which was easy to find - outside Gate 46 of departure hall at Terminal 2 or Gate 13 of departure hall at Terminal 1. Then the bus takes about five minutes to reach the hotel. My plane landed at 6 am and I was able to check-in at 8 am instead of 2 pm. It's best to ask about a possible early check-in at the time of booking. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Good room service with good food selection - Western and Asian. This hotel was perfect for my long 18-hour layover.

Really nice room. Clean, comfortable, and adorned with all the necessities. The breakfast was amazing. Nice space, plenty of choice. The shuttle bus was efficient and timely. The price of the room was really reasonable.

The directions to find the hotel shuttle bus were poor. I had asked prior to the trip but was just referred to the timetable which had minimal info. Other travellers I spoke to found the same and resorted to a taxi in the end. The breakfast I had paid for didn’t show on the receptionist side, despite me also checking via email prior to my arrival and having a staff member confirm I was booked for breakfast. The pool at the Pullman is great, but you can’t use it without a swimming cap. No offer was made to buy one, despite a cabinet of swimming attire being displayed for sale. Seemed strange. A bar or lounge space in the Novotel would have been great, instead of having to go to the Pullman.

It was perfect stay between my flights. I checked-in early but that caused no problem, check-in and check-out was super fast (1 minute) - that is extremely important when you have limited time. I quickly went to my room to sleep:) The room was exceptionally clean, super comfortable with everything provided (shower things, tooth-kit, coffee, tea, robe and slippers (even two sizes😁). I liked the design of the room and the temperature inside (that was super hot outside but inside of the room there was just paradise). Amazing black-out curtains and the lighting of the room.

Just one thing - noise from the hallway. The room has sound insulation but the door has not. And my sleep was disturbed by constantly repeated sounds of slamming doors at the hallway.

I was greeted with a warm welcome at reception right after my flight, and it was so nice that English was spoken fluently. The hotel room met all my expectations and was perfect for a quick stopover.

It was disappointing that there seemed to be little staff or security walking through the hotel corridors to remind guests to be considerate of others trying to sleep, especially at night. I was disturbed several times by children & parents running and shouting while playing tag in the halls, which was quite disruptive.

This hotel is literally a stones throw from the airport. It is large and light and airy. My room was big and well laid out. My only criticism is that the restaurant is like a canteen, ok for breakfast (which had lots of choice) but not really for dinner. HOWEVER, the Pullman next door has a fabulous restaurant and bar, and also a swimming pool on the roof, and off of the Pullman facilities are available for the Novotel guests
