Very modern and comfortable, very well located and with great views. The staff is nice, even not talking English they can manage to help you (via Translator online, etc) There's also a kind of travel agent working there that can help you booking tours, etc. The room is big, has AC, mini fridge, kettle and a TV. It is in a Japanese fashion which means a low bed but it wasn't a problem for us.

As said in previous comments, there's a street singer that is very loud and the sound isolation of the building is awful. They provide tampons for your ears but this is a little disturbing. The guy goes away at around 10pm so it's not that bad. They have a kind of bar in the last floor but I think that space could eventually be transformed in a room to serve breakfast (they don't have the option of breakfast in the hotel). There's a modern westernized coffee shop right next to the hotel but it is seriously overpriced.

Lovely room with a view over the river. Spacious and tasteful, very comfortable, seating area by the window, nice bathroom. Jenny (speaks excellent English) provided a superb service for organising our tours. We communicated with her by WeChat before our arrival in Guilin and she outlined our options. When we arrived she arranged a driver to take us to the Longji Rice Terraces and booked tickets and driver to go to the River Li cruise (the dock is some way from town). This took all of the stress out of planning!

No breakfast in the hotel - but there's a great croissant shop a couple of doors away and a cafe next door. Only drawback is neither are open before 8.30am.

The bed were very comfortable and the aircon didn’t cause my allergies to flare up - first time in China! Our room was facing an inner courtyard so we didn’t have any issues with late night singers or morning dancing on the street across the road from the hotel. Jenny from the reception contacted me prior to our arrival and organised airport pick up and tours. She was responsive and spoke great English, she is fantastic. The rest of the hotel staff were also very helpful despite the language barrier and gave us little gift, such a nice touch.

It was absolutely boiling hot in the corridors which was uncomfortable considering we would spend a lot of time waiting for the only elevator in the building to show up.

The location in the heart of Guilin was great for exploring the area, with the river on your doorstep, enticing you to lap up the natural wonder, or even run along the banks, weaving in and out of the various tours! The staff were helpful, particularly Jenny, who arranged an excursion at short notice and even booked us tickets for Xian, later in our trip!! Whilst the rooms appear quite small, the huge windows invite in the natural light and help open up the space to good effect. Overall, we were very happy with our 3 night stay, and would recommend it to travellers and families alike!

The slight downside of being in and amongst the action of Guilin is the noise from outside; they do provide earplugs and it don’t go on long into the night but if you are an early, light, sleeper, this might be factor. They also use plastic bottles rather than a refillable water station, which is not the most eco-friendly operation, although, as Tom Jones might say, this is “not unusual” for this part of the world!!

The location is definitely the best for this hotel. It's very nearby to all central attractions and the best thing is the night market is literally two streets down. It's near the river view as well, just opposite of the Opera house. This is by far one of the best decision we made as a family just due to the convenience and accessibility. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all our inquiries, albeit our mandarin were not the best but they did tried their best to communicate with us in English as well. All in all, highly recommend this place if it's your first visit to Guilin and would definitely come back again for our future visits.

Our room did have a slight cigarettes smell, probably due to the previous patrons smoking in the room which wasn't really the fault of the hotel. Still it didn't really bother us too much on this.

Beautifully decorated clean and comfortable room. Great location to explore Guilin. Croissant shop round the corner with legit croissants. Very helpful staff (English speaking + non-English speaking). The hotel staff helped us to organise a driver for the day and were very friendly. Thank you for the lovely gift when we checked out :)

Unfortunately a little bit loud due to public dancing/singing by the river, but stopped at around 10pm.

Our stay at the Riverside Wing Hotel was really exceptional. I was staying there with my daughter, my pregnant wife and my parents in law. The rooms are spacious, the (large) bed and other furniture were comfortable and everything was very clean. The pictures depict the actual rooms very good. One side of the room is 100% window which looks very cool and gives great views on the river. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the city by walking. Some special things to highlight: We asked for a baby bed and the hotel staff bought a great new baby bed to satisfy this wish. Since the staff knew we would come with a baby, they ran the AC before our arrival and the room was pleasantly cool when we checked in. Without asking we also got an additional room key to keep the AC on when we were out. We got vouchers to experience a traditional Guilin rice noodle breakfast for free at the restaurant next door. The washer and dryer are clean, free to use and even detergent is provided. I especially want to highlight the great and friendly service of Bruce and Alyssa. They helped us with everything we needed and even made some small gifts for my daughter. She still enjoys the cozy pillow here back in Germany. Bruce speaks fluent English which helped us a lot and was very rare to have compared to all other locations we visited in China. He also guided me in person to a nice restaurant and told the chef there in Chinese to take special care when preparing the food for my pregnant wife and my young daughter. He also helped me book a river cruise and showed me how the delivery robot of the hotel worked since I saw something like that the first time. Overall I can 100% recommend this hotel and especially the great staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot, everything was perfect.

The location is near to the main tourist spots and it’s surrounded by shops selling food as well as the local products. Pedestrian street is just round the corner ! I love especially the beautiful view from my hotel room. The service staff Allen and Bryce are amazing; being helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Allen went the extra mile to accompany us to the bank of China as I needed to withdraw CNY. Both Allen and Bryce were patient and clear in giving us the directions to the places of attractions in the vicinity of the hotel. Bryce called for a cab and went out in the rain to direct the driver to the front of the hotel for us. Their services are indeed excellent and one couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful time in Guilin.

Jenny is one of the most talented employees that this hotel has and I’m sure that she is and the resption staff are the best staff I have seen in my whole life. I really really appreciate there efforts by trying to comfort us as much as they can. Also,on our first day they gave us a tea when we came back from the city center. (They gave as this tea everyday) Thanks for having a staff like this and this hotel really deserves to be a 5 star hotel . Thanks to the cafe near the hotel ( Mcmellow cafe) for the great breakfast it’s really delicious and they tried as much as possible to satisfied us .. many thanks The rooms is same as the picture and I really recommend to stay in a room with a river view

Nothing at all really

Excellent location right beside the night markets so it is easy to go shopping. It is beside the main road as well so it is easy to get a cab. The hotel is beside the river so the environment is pretty nice. I like the free drinks and food in the fridge. The Hotel staff is very helpful and sweet, we bought stuff from Taobao and they were willing to help us out. They gave us free drinks vouchers and desserts at night. The housekeeper was also very nice and provided us what we wanted. If i need extra water or snacks, the response is usually quick

They originally stated that i have a safety deposit box but it wasn't provided . They remedial that quite quickly.
