Location - it’s located right in front of West Lake, reachable in seconds. Amenities - premium amenities; Dyson hairdryer, Balmain toiletries, comfortable pillows and bed. Room - very spacious, separate bathroom from shower area, comes with huge bathtub. Check In - I could check in early at 1pm as room was available. Breakfast - a great variety, spoilt for choices.

The primary reason I booked the hotel, especially the more expensive Lake View room, was for the lake view. This was based on what was shown on the site where the room apparently enjoyed an unblock view of the lake. However, the actual room I checked in, the view was blocked by the roof of the function extension area, and you have to zoom in the camera to see the lake. I was very disappointed, especially for the price point, I was not expecting blockage of the view.

This was an utterly perfect stay. The hotel is fabulous, and the staff could not have been more helpful, especially in booking taxis which can be tricky as a foreigner. It was my daughter's birthday, and they made a great effort to surprise and delight her - we were so touched at their kindness. The breakfast buffet was absolutely phenomenal - I cannot recommend it highly enough for variety and quality. Wonderful location. I would love to return.

The location is the best....right on the lake. The views over the lake are fantastic, especially at sunset. The gym was very nice and was 24 hours open. I was given club lounge access and the food there was very nice and sufficient to keep me going all day. The wine bar was especially nice. The service was great...very helpful staff always going out of their way to assist. Overall, I had a wonderful weekend stay with perfect weather, great views and a healthy time. I worked out, jogged on the lake, and ate well. The room was very comfortable and I slept well in the large bed.

Only the other clientele....it was a weekend and so the hotel was full and the people that stayed there were rude and pushy. This isn't the hotel's fault, of course....just the nature of being one of the best hotels in a weekend destination. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.

The room was spacious and clean. The executive lounge was fantastic for a relaxing small meal, afternoon tea and snack. The hotel location was beside West Lake for a leisure walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery. At the same time the hotel was just next to the busy shopping and dining areas. You will be spoiled by the variety of shops and eateries. I highly recommend it to all visiting Hangzhou !

I liked the location and the entry was very pretty. The staff we're also helpful. Probably the only helpful people i met whilst in china.

The buffet breakfast i paid for was a waste of money because nearly every meal had pork in it which i cannot eat.

Love the location. Faces the Xihu, so if you picked the room with Xihu view, it's lovely from late morning when it's bright and not misty (although there's slight blockage from my room at 5th floor) Shopping area is just 5mins walk, right behind the hotel area. Food at 28 Hubing right at the lobby is good.

The room I chose, it has a nice view towards the West Lake. When we entered the hotel, this is one of the few hotels that offers air purifiers at every square meter, even in the room to make sure you have the best air quality and non-allergy experience (not meaning in Hangzhou the air quality is bad).

Jingle bell sound played more than 200 times extremely loud in the lobby. After my knowledge, there also exist other Christmas melodies.

Location is perfect, right next to West Lake

The front desk staff is lacking the eagerness to help the guest, and some of the restaurant staff at the buffet lunch is lacking professionalism and common courtesy

The restaurants especially the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor was really excellent.

A number of staff can't speak nor understand English and service at the tea cafe Lobby area was not up to standard.
