Tropical paradise with 3 pools, amazing jungle backdrop and really nice comfortable rooms - slept so well here. Cute cats and dogs. A great base for exploring Tayrona - near the Calabazo entrance which is the less crowded one. We also saw tamarind monkeys and toucans from the hotel!!

The paid-for food at lunch and dinner was really good (and not too expensive), but the included breakfast was a bit average given the relatively high price of the rooms. But a pretty minor issue in the grand scheme of things!

Property was perfectly located for the Calabazo entrance to the park. This made for an easy one day loop of Tayrona NP taking in a lesser touristed trail and then experiencing the famous beaches. (Search for the trail on Komoot and download the GPS to your phone). Staff were super friendly, letting us drop our bags for the day (from 8am) before our stay. Food was decent. Room was lovely. Pool areas were very smart and gardens were well kept. Hotel hummingbirds were a highlight as were the two spoilt cats :)

Our room (suite) had a bit of a damp issue. Wouldn't have wanted to stay for more than one night as a result. Although I'm sure they would have moved us to a different room if we'd have asked.

We were 4 friends travelling for 3 nights. Everything has surpassed our expectations. As it was rainy season, we had the hotel for ourselves but Miguel (who was in reception and bar duties) was incredibly helpful, let us use the amenities as if it was high season, we could even put our own music at the pool. Milagros made sure that our breakfast and dinner was always on point and even when we asked to slightly change the menu, she was more than helpful to accommodate our requests. Overall, we couldn't be happier to have chosen La Casablanca Tayrona and will be sure to return whenever we go back there!

Immediately after arriving, we booked an additional day here! It was the best accommodation of our trip so far in Colombia. We absolutely adored this spot. The views, the pool, the friendly staff, the comfortable room, all of it made for a memorable stop which rejuvenated our family and allowed us to to focus on the beauty of the area. We ate several amazing meals here (they have vegetarian options!) including the huge and delicious free breakfast. Every detail in this space has been thought out to give travelers everything they need (power outlets, places to hang wet clothing, shelf space, window screens, free coffee, etc.). The room and grounds were cleaned thoroughly each day. We visited Tayrona NP one day and it was easily accessible from this location. The other three days we spent there, we relaxed by the pool or in the hammock in front of our room. We highly recommend an extended stay here for couples, families, everyone!

Wifi was a bit spotty, but when it went out, we just looked up at the view and all was well with the world. :) The main road can be a bit noisy, but the sound of birds and water (from the fisheries) provide more natural sounds, too.

It’s a very cozy hotel with two swimming pools and loads of greenery. The room is big and comfortable too and the staff is lovely. So are the resident cats! We loved the location: 1km to the Calabazo entrance. You can ask the bus driver to drop you off at the hotel!

The only thing we didn’t like is that the food (breakfast and dinner) was not good at all. Actually the worst we’ve tried so far in Colombia, and it wasn’t cheap either so it was kind of disappointing.

It was relaxing. The location was good and the accommodation was comfortable and clean and had air con. There were two swimming pools which were cleaned each morning and they were a good size. There were loungers and chairs with umbrellas. Breakfast was included and there was a choice. The food was good but basic.

The noise from a nearby restaurant which went on until 2am the first night. As it rained the second night the music stopped.

The Hotel was great. It is a nice Oasis in the middle of lush green. The staff is absolutely amazing. They all where so kind and attentive and we felt so welcome and at ease. Thanks to all of them. The rooms are very cute and cozy, just perfect after a long day in the park. The location is great. The breakfast and dinner choice is amazing and the food soooo good! You are like 4 min walking distance from 1-2 shops with essentials like water and a few snacks and fruits such as 1-2 Restaurants to have dinner and tough far enought not to hear their noise. You can stand by the street and wink the bus driver to stop and he will take you for COP 3000 p.p on the 15-20 min bus drive straight to El Zaino Tayrona Park entry. Same on the way back, you just tell him where to stop and they let you out. It is so great to have the Hotel so close and yet not in the Park to avoid all the bag controls and the impossible long walk to the hotels inside of the park!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! By far this was our favourite accommodation of all the places we stayed in Colombia. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the aircon works great. We loved the pool and bar area. The food was delicious- we had both dinner and breakfast. it’s in a perfect location for the National park- just 5 minute walk from one entrance and a 20 minute bus journey from the other. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and a big thank you to Miguel who helped us sort out a taxi when we arrived back from Tayrona National Park. you made us very comfortable after a hard hike! Our only regret is that we only stayed for one night- we would have liked to stay here longer!! Overall, the facilities, the staff and the location are fantastic.

Amazing garden! Loved the amount of plant and the birds/frogs it attracted, the flowers also smelled amazing ❤️ Staff was super friendly, the entrance to the parc was just a few minutes walking away and the pool was really cute with the bar next to it. The rooms were very big/spacious

We found the beds very uncomfortable. I think it was because of hygiene that the pillows and matrasses where covered with an extra plastic cover, but you could hear the plastic crack when laying on the beds. We also found the mattresses too firm, but thats a personal preference :)

Attentive & friendly staff, beautiful grounds with nice pool & patios. Very clean, good wifi, and hot showers. Only a short walk to the Calabazo park entrance. We had our meals there and it was good.

It is close to the highway so you hear the traffic but it did not bother us. Our room was towards the back and it was quiet.
