Pure perfection! This hotel is an oasis of joy and relaxation. The facilities are a little bit outside of Puerto Jimenez, which renders a feeling of entering a retreat. The distances to the small city/village center are walkable; optionally, bikes are rented out at the hotel. Everything was simply perfect: staff, breakfast, gym, luxurious room, amazing pool, very affordable room service. The staff helped with booking tours to the nearby Corcovado National Park and provided information on other activities like night tours and kayaking; additionally, information about (public) transport was also given at any time.

No complaints about the hotel per se. The surrounding beaches are clearly Pacific coast with rocks and pebbles and can not compete with Caribbean sand beaches. A holiday in Puerto Jimenez is not a classical beach holiday, but rather an active vacation with lots of wild life and exciting ventures.

The price I paid for one room with 2 beds and no breakfast was relatively expensive for the value. The meals at the hotel are very expensive. It is always better to book a room that includes breakfast. For example: breakfast costs $30 including taxes and service. Dinner $60 for one. The hotel shows prices of the meals and cocktails without the tax and without service and this causes customers to be misled.

The Staff are exceptional. Marcel and Kennia were absolutely outstanding. The slogan "where luxury rums wild" hits the nail on the head. Such a fantastic resort. Many animals to see. The resort is placed im the middle of creeks, nature. The gym has everything you can wish for. The food is divine. The beach is nice, we took long walks there. The boat transfers is about a 5 minute ride

Having to pay extra if you want a coffee other than filter coffee. For nearly 400usd a night i guess they could include cappuccino etc.. with the breakfast. More fruit to take yourself at the breakfast. It is a hilton chain. So you get charged for just about everything. Be aware

A complete surprise. The property is so well maintained and tucked away in a location that you don’t even know it exists. And an alligator pond too!. The pool area is relaxing and has a great little bar area for drinks. Restaurant is welcoming and great food. Every single team member is just amazing. Fantastic trip.

The bed wasn’t super comfortable and the sheets not as soft as most Hiltons. But that’s the only flaw of this hotel. Oh, and if you want to go to Corcavado Park, prepare yourself for a very bumpy and adventurous drive. .

I had an amazing stay here. The staff and their attention to detail is top tier. I would definitely recommend. This is a great place to escape to with your lover or alone, like I did. Did not encounter one person who wasn't enjoying their stay. If you enjoy fishing, you will love it here, they prepare your catch for you and your party at the restaurant. Immense gratitude to Flori, Kenia, Esteban, Johan who are the definition of customer service. I'm so worried that this gem will disappear as the hotel develops and more people find it. This was a once in a lifetime trip... but I'll be back.

We loved everything about this place. This was the only place that met our expectations in the last 2 months of travel in Costa Rica. I wish we spent more time than we did. We didn't know anything about Puerto Jimenez. It was spontaneous weekend getaway and it was amazing to the point that I am planning to take some of my families back here together. The restaurant was very nice, customized for our vegitarian/wholegrain diet. Room, pool, staff, food, everything just was awesome. If you visit here, take a tour at La perica sloth garden (it is at palmaa). It was much better than anywhere I went in La fortuna or anywhere north or east of CR. I also recommend kayak tour at the crocodile bay. Go see the Dolphins and crocodiles. I will miss this place! This was better than Guanacaste or Limon area -- Puerto viejo is way overrated. Go to Puerto Jimenez!!

The hotel is new, still building in progress. So construction noise is unavoidable. The maintenance is questionable. It is okay at the moment being new but it was obvious it was gonna be rundown in any time (bridge was already broken, room has no ventilation calling for mold, etc) But right now is great 👍

Room was wonderful and great value (we assume because the property is still under construction). The tours organised through the hotel (Golfo Dulce boat excursion and kayaking tour with Eno) were both really fabulous. Lovely pool and pool bar.

The restaurant is the only option on the property for dinner - food fine but very, very expensive for what it is. The hotel has a slightly impersonal feel, but that’s to be expected with a chain. Note it is still under construction - that didn’t bother us at all.

Rooms far away from the reception unless you take a shortcut through the pool area Showers at the pool do not look like they are being maintained well. For example, they let the shower run non-stop as if you turn it off, it will make a loud, squeaky noise. What a waste of water.. This should be repaired.

Nice park around the hotel, pool, massage team is great. Modern beautiful rooms with lots of space. Very clean and well maintained. Free shuttle to beach club by boat.

While food at the pool restaurant is authentic and prices reasonable, drinks are priced to high. In addition the menu of the main restaurant for dinner is international which motivated us to go to the village every night. This is a missed opportunity...

The pool lounger chairs were rather tired and the fabric covered soft beds needed a good clean. We also took the free boat to Preciosa Beach, which was an idyllic setting but with so many sand flies! They are still itching after 2 days and makes it difficult to sleep despite anti-histamines.
